Firefire:
You will all recall how the general promised that 2015 shall be BLOODY, this is the beginning...

A stitch in time saves nine.

If the General is truly a democrat and he love peace, he should as a matter of urgency made a national broadcast distancing himself from any known electoral violence in the language understood by his followers.

angry angry angry
You are a bloody liar. Why didn't you write the complete statement he made??

For the benefit of the ignorant kids who tend to easily fall for lies being spread by the children of anger and agents of darkness on this forum, the general said 2015 would be bloody if Jonathan RIGS the elections. Even when the satanists post images of that newspaper, they try to crop the portion that gives the condition under which the year could be bloody according to the General. They try to make you see only the "2015 will be bloody" portion!! How disgusting!!

The only people that have threatened Nigerians in such idiotic fashion are the likes of Clerk, Akpabio and Dokubo, who promised hell. And death to Nigerians if Jonathan IS NOT re-elected!!!. They are telling us we don't have the right to choose our leader anymore.

And since then, the president hasn't issued a single remark in condemnation, neither has the SSS noticed!!

Shame.

The truth of the matter is that you guys are hugely disappointed the General responded appropriately to the incident unlike your petty president who kept mum to this day over the shooting of APC members on their way to PH!!

Had he not made these statements, you guys would have latched unto it to further spread your lies and gospel of hate against the General. In fact, you would even say he personally provided the tools they used to torch and vandalise the vehicles.

Again, the General has proven sceptics wrong.

Only enemies of progress can't see that.
Politics › Re: Buhari's Twitter Condemnation Not Acceptable by omenka(m): 10:42pm On Jan 10, 2015
Very petty.

Mscheew.

He doesn't even owe you an apology in case you don't realise that. Don't blow your gasket over what you have absolutely no say about.

You guys keep ranting and trying to spread lies and hatred about the General in here while his meek disposition and maturity has been earning him more fans online and beyond!

We had two decampees on nairaland today.
Steadily but surely, the voices of the children of anger will be drowned even on Nairaland.

I said it on the thread, it is very sad that PDP and the presidency kept mute on the shooting in PH. I must say, Buhari of 2015 seems to be getting most of his conduct right than it was in 2011 maybe because he has better managers than before. If I'm the president, people like Asari, Keita, Ango Abudullahi and Edwin Clark, should be cooling off somewhere. Thumb up to Buhari on this and I hope APC will take it a step further by educating it member and followers about violence free election.
The president with his $21billion+ warchest couldn't assemble the right crop of fellas to manage his campaign. Imagine giving such sensitive job to folks like Amadu Ali (whose first speech after inauguration was an attack on Buhari's person due to his age!! Ali is older than Buhari!!), and FFK who's known for his childish rants and loyalty with a monetary price tag!!

I think the people that would eventually do the president's chances of retaining his job in are his campaign handlers!! They advice him wrongly and he makes the wrong calls at every turn, sounding petty and overly emotional.

Stop seeing igbo in your every nightmare! You want buhari as the next president? Vote for him! But desist from all those snide comments about Biafrans. Yorubas played as much role as Biafrans in making jonathan the president during the last elections. Thre are yorubas in his government. Igbos are not the reason your Imam buhari won't be the next president, his dangerous pedigree/politics are! So let the igbos off this one. Coherent enough for you slowpoke now?
Come again?

I will withdraw my earlier comment, this is what every party should be doing.. condemn the act of these idiots. Big up to APC and GMB. Change will come but not with violence and intimidation.
Jonathan has a world to learn from Buhari as a leader honestly.

What has the president said about the attacks on APC members on their way to PH??

Didn't your yoruba vote for him? From 2 billion missing while he was petroleum minister to questionable contract awards at PTF, is your messiah buhari really the saint? You really need to take a chill pill cos buhari is loosing this one again.
You sound awfully incoherent. Come again please.

OKDnigeria:
Yes fighting corruption is not all abt jailing pple u perceive to be corrupt without trial. Buhari did it as a military head of state he can't try it now.
OK after jailing those so called corrupt pple, did corruption stop?
The best way to fight corruption is to make it difficult to happen in d 1st place. that's GEJ's strategy.
Prove: Check Transparency International 's rating of Nigeria b4 Jonathan and what it is now.
we used to be 2nd most corrupt country in the world, but now we're 37th. Significant improvement!
The best way to fight corruption is not by "making it difficult to happen", it is by putting the fear of the consequences of being corrupt in the hearts of people, that way, they wouldn't even touch a penny that isn't theirs even if it is kept in open view!

Even in the world's most advanced countries with the most advanced system of checks and balances that hinder corruption, people still try to find their way through the maze. But the reason most of the people that live in those countries chose not to steal is because they understand they'd be found out and locked up.

Was watching the news couple of days back where a guy was sent to jail for stealing public funds 20years ago. I mean, he's spent 20years in jail to this day!! He took ill a couple of days ago and has been transferred to a medical facility. They reported that he'd go back to prison to complete his sentence once he recovers from his sickness!!!!!

That is how you fight corruption!
Politics › Re: GEJ And The Corruption Mantra: Is He Corrupt Or Just Misunderstood? by omenka(m): 9:27pm On Jan 10, 2015
Honestly I'm still finding it hard to believe the president really made that statement in the first quote!! Seriously??!!

That aside, this "crate" incident has a funny side to it. To me, it further gives reasons why we must have Buhari steer the ship of this nation at this juncture when corruption seems to have assumed a life form. We would like Buhari to "crate" corruption like he did Umaru Dikko, and lock it up for eternity!! If a man shows so much commitment to bringing a crook to justice, give me a reason why I shouldn't support him.

And another thing; imagine what would have been coming out the president's mouth had Umaru been an Igbo man!!! But no one is talking about the General's intolerance to corruption regardless of who's involved (a "brother" from the "north" in this case).

Imagine it was Buhari we had as the Head of State during the Biafra war!! They would have been like; a vote for Buhari is a vote for the continuation of the genocide he started against Igbos in '66!!

I really love the way APC has been going about their campaign with maturity and focus. PDP can keep running around looking for dirt while APC prances along making new friends and allies, and building more support amongst the general public.

One only needs to go to the market place, restaurants, artisan workshops, joints, filling stations, schools, etc, to understand the impact the campaign has been making and how people feel about Jonathan.

Victory is indeed at hand! smiley

When faced with hard facts all they do is hurl insults.

This is exactly what Dele Momodu said the other day; they insult but we will not join them in the mud, but rather counter them with facts and proofs of the things we say.

PDP is such a huge joke.
