You are setting the stage for a bad precedence. Title and service are not criterias for excusing unpardonable atrocities. Ali Modu Sherriff was a Senator and a Governor, he had title and service, and I guess like Ihejirika he is likewise innocent until proven guilty.

We have always demanded that bokoharam leaders be made to talk and disclose their sponsors. Now that our wish has been granted we want to run away from the result. Remember that the list is long and there are more names on it yet to publish.

Absolving Ihejirika until proven guilty will also absolve Sanusi if his name turned up in the next print. It will absolve Babangida if his name turns up next.

In a terror case intelligence surveys and analysis are the materials used for indicting; you will never find a bomb if you search his house and car or get a picture of Ihejirika dining with Shekau in Sambisa if thats what material you are looking for to point to his connection.
