Yes you can be self employed anywhere you are in the country transcribing for a living.

This thread will teach you everything you need to know to start up and the tools needed to deliver the goods.

You would need

1. A PC, tab or mobile phone
2. Affordable internet connection
3. Good head phones
4 Good command of English

Everything else can be learned on this thread. For those of us who have already started transcribing, we're welcome to share our ideas here so that this can be our online community.

A comma before and after a name in mid sentence. A comma before or after a name in salutation.
You're also allowed MINOR corrections for making clear transcripts.

Someone just helped me purchase a laptop recently in Lagos and will want to send it across to me here in Port Harcourt. I've been trying to find a way of getting it across but have not been able to make any good progress. Just this morning someone suggested that I should use the services of NIPOST. My lecturer was surprised, he was like a china phone with all this good qualities, he then asked me for the price and i told him 82,000 lol, immediately he transfered the sum of #82,000 to my account to get it for him berore coming to class the next day..

And hope you people not thinking that am a theif sha lol.. the phone is 62k in 3cHub at ikeja, so 82000 - 62000 = #20,000 messelinius lol...
