When keyamo stoop so low to fight with a tout what do you expect from the tout?
Lordlexyy:
Criminals becoming celebrities, to even imagine a sitting state governor promising to intervene probably to pacify him. Joke of the year. Those government officials obviously have one or two things with these boys. Little wonder how Asari would be threatening anyone that speak ills of the president. These are the mafians and criminals indirectly governing this country. A common criminal openly threatening a senior lawyer because he knows he will get away with it for reason that he is shielded by power from above. Welcome to sisilly, mafian country. Totally unheard of. *weep profusely*

So the president should desend so low as to settle the quarrel of two fighting? I can see that the office of the presidency has become a common place. Keyamo that loves insulting and disrespeting the office the president. Na wa for una.
Afroconnect:
Blood feud, hard one here...I think both parties should seek an agreement,I think the presidency should weild in so cool heads prevail...Festus Keyamo is a Nigerian that has done much to ensure justice in Nigeria,it will be a blight on our National history,if we continue to waste our intelligent young proffessionals.

Pls I beg that cooler heads prevail in this cos its a delicate one and involves blood.

Keyamo is just doing his job as a lawyer.

Much respect to all freedom fighters.

hmn! lost my dad 2 yrs ago to similar circumstance! He was in his early sixties. The okada guy that he fell off his bike begged soneone in the crowd to help him lift my dad to a hospital at this time he was conscious (so we were later told) the crowd just stared making sympathetic utterances. the okada guy gave up and reported at the nearest police station. by the time he came back my dad was dead. He was remanded by the police because my dad died and was prosecuted. but considering his actions we settled out of court. he paid the mortuary bill. it was so painful! I keep thinking what if he had gotten soneone to help, perhaps my dad would be alive!
sorry for what happen to ur dad. Though we nigerians seriously need to change our orientatiøn what about the orientation of the hungry and corrupt police who will invent immaginary excuse so as to extort money in form of bail?.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Is It A Crime Helping Accident Victims To The Hospital? by Omexonomy: 3:36pm On Oct 28, 2014
Their was this begger who have been sitting in a particular position for over five years begging for arms. One day he fell sick and spent over 4 days in that place. We went to the council to report and they promise to come yet they did not come even after collecting N2300 from us as bribe. Finaly the begger died and we went to the council to report again this time they ask us for police report and we are to pay N60 thousand naira.
On getting to the station the police said they want at least more than five withness b4 they will do or say anything. Now the body is smelling badly and we nomimated 8 elderly people to go to the police station on getting there they were told to prove that they are not the killkers of the begger and were thrown into the cell and we should wait till after they conclude their investigation. To cut the long story short those people that went to the station were finally put on bail at N10,000 each. And we have to bear the stench for up to 2weeks.
I believe most of the problem we are having in this country are not spiritual rather it has more to do with the mentality of the people

I remeber a case where a gurl found an abondon baby on a canal and took the baby to the police station. They collect her name and address and thank her önly for the police to return and start harrassing the gurl claiming she is the owner of the baby untill we were able to convince the police with medical reports and some money b4 she was allow to go. Since then i kept asking my self what is the right thing to do next time?

Gbawe:
Shut up and GTF out of here. I cannot be labelled what my posts (over 10,000.00 of them) show conclusively I am not. Just because the few posts you have here conclusively damn you as ethnocentric does not mean you should try and desperately drag others into your gutter of bigotry. I am simply a proud Yoruba who will defend his ethic group against malicious and malevolent slurs from hateful bigots like you. I make no apologies for that and will use facts to to correct attempts to denigrate Yoruba folks which is a favourite pastime for folks like you, Omexonomy and many others here.

The challenge is for you to back your assertion by showing any of my posts, since you have over 10,000 examples, where I put down other Nigerian ethnic groups and clearly insinuate they are inferior to mine. Do that or stop wasting my time because we all know those who are obsessed with empty supremacist rants on Nairaland which is never borne out by the reality lists like these, time and time again, reveal. That is why the revelation of this list is strangling your throat. That is why Omexonomy lied, deliberately and dishonestly under-counted a list of a few names and even deny a Yoruba woman of her heritage to support his past supremacist drivel this list, just like many other lists, discredits entirely. Would it not be better, easier and even more productive if people like you embraced humility and a respect for others especially the Yorubas you are indoctrinated to bad mouth and fight?
at last the filthy gbawe that is been pay per post is weeping like a wife whose husband dump her for a cheap prostitute. Mukina2 please kindly give him ur akisa to wipe away his tears

PoliticsRe: Lagos 2015: Ikuforiji Reels Out 10- Point Agenda by Omexonomy: 4:16pm On Oct 27, 2014
Ayomidric:
Lagos – The Speaker, Lagos State House of
Assembly (LAHA), Mr Adeyemi Ikuforiji, a
governorship aspirant under the All Progressives
Congress (APC), on Sunday presented his 10-
point agenda to residents of Lagos State.
Ikuforiji presented the agenda while declaring his
governorship ambition to party members at the
Lagos Television (LTV) Blue Roof in Ikeja.
“A few weeks ago, I told my friends and staff in
the Lagos State House of Assembly that I will be
running for governor.
“I am, by the grace of God, the longest-serving
speaker, not just in Lagos, but in Nigeria’s
history.
“My dear people of Lagos, I believe that the time
has come for us to consolidate the gains of good
governance.
“The time has come for us to re-articulate the
vision of the founding fathers of Lagos, and re-
energise the people of this great city.
“I intend to build on the achievements of Asiwaju
Bola Tinubu and Gov. Babatunde Fashola, to
make Lagos a truly global city.
“I am also presenting my agenda for the
transformation of Lagos – My 10-point Cardinal
Programme.
“I believe, when implemented, this will consolidate
the gains of the past, as well as help us to build
a new future that will make Lagos as global city.
“My 10-point Cardinal Programme connects all
the critical areas of the political, economic and
social lives, and provides a synergy between these
different sectors.
“This 10-point-Cardinal Programme is produced
by many months of hard work and exchange of
ideas with some of the finest brains that our
Lagos can boast of,” the speaker said.
Ikuforiji said that in the areas of Job creation and
poverty alleviation, full and gainful employment
would be approached as an indispensable tool of
ensuring good life for the people of Lagos.
He said that his core vision was to consolidate
and enlarge the enviable legacy of good
governance that Lagos had come to be known
for.
The speaker said that he would work hard to
make Lagos the African Alpha City, one that
would link the African economy to the world
economy.
“Lagos will constitute the heartbeat of the
continent in the 21st Century and I believe that
our state has all that it takes to play this role.
“I am convinced that we can make it happen for
Lagos, under my leadership.
“As a technocrat and a widely-travelled politician,
I will contribute my quota to the charting of a
new trajectory for Lagos by ensuring that our
politics is devoid of rancour.
“I will ensure that even to the most politically
aloof Lagos resident, politics will be attractive
and would no longer perceived as a dirty game
characterized by nepotism,’’ Ikuforiji said.
He said that his administration would “combine
the populist approach of Alhaji Lateef Jakande,
the financial ingenuity of Asiwaju Tinubu and the
vigour of Fashola’’.
The speaker said that within the first 18 months
of his government, hospitals in Lagos would be
upgraded to world standard.
He added that government officials would be
mandated to undergo medical check-ups in the
state, instead of going abroad.
“Our schools in Lagos will be restored to their
former glory and I will not rest until LASU is one
of the top 500 universities in the world.
“I am in this race to make a difference; my
conscience tells me this is the best time to do the
will of God for Lagos.
“I am well placed to lead this new phase in the
history of Lagos and with the strength of
character that I have shown, particularly since I
was elected in 2003 as a member of the house
and Speaker since 2005.
“This recommends me for the governorship,’’ he
added. (NAN)
