Politics › Re: Extremely Bad Portions On Lagos-badagry Road (pictures) by Omexonomy: 8:30pm On Jan 30, 2013
watchinglagos: the road runs from Orile to Badagry, Orile to mile has been taken care of, work is ongoing from mazamaza to agboju. The bad portions I posted are from Volks to alakija which still remains under the FG until the state takes over
stop decieving ur self and fellow lagosians. Go and ask musiwa, seanat01, demdemoron and take dat they will tell you more

KnowAll: i thought lagos state govt is building a 10 lane expressway connecting lagos to badagry huh so fasola/tinunbu don do us 419 undecided

kulikuli26: Now you will say the police is controlled by FG but when they are been used to weed out okada men by LASG you wont say they are controlled by FG.Please lets stop this hypocrisy, i have noticed there is always a desperate attempt at exonerating LASG whenever their competence is called to question.we must understand we cannot move forward with this kind of mentality, lets call govts to question whenever there is need to and not always looking for excuses.
dont mind them any thing bad belongs to fed any thing good belong to fash and bola ACN MINIONS on nairaland have deckared the road to be fashola and bola property come to mile and see the lagos state signboard from mile 2 to badagry.
Crime › Re: Robbers Return To Lagos-badagry Road by Omexonomy: 2:46pm On Jan 30, 2013
watchinglagos: The particular road which is in a state of disrepair, is a Federal road, the police is also controlled by FG so where does Fashola come in? Close to where the robberies take place is Ojo cantonment, is that Fashola's jurisdiction too?
what are you typing ACN MINIONS on nairaland have deckared the road to be fashola and bola property come to mile and see their signboard.
Politics › Re: Lagos Laments Fg’s Failed Promises by Omexonomy: 8:33am On Jan 30, 2013
kaze4blues: Ur argument is a blind one....lagos is a state under d niherian govt.

The fact dat lagos generates her own igr wch may be huge does not stop d fg frm fulfillin her constitutional duties to dd state.
We also av states in dd niger ddelta dat receiv more allocation ddan lagos so u can't use dt as an xcuse.

Wteva d fg does in lagos Is for nigerians livin in ddt state.

If lag govt does anytin outsidde her constitutional rights, it is ppl like u dat starts to cry foul.

U gerrit?
how are my argument blind i have tried to show you the logic of not developing lagos alone you are telling me it is a blind argument.
may be lagos state don't share from the federal allocation like other state Assuming the fg decided to spent all the fed allocation on lagos alone then you will start hearing "go back to ur state if you are not lagosian" "come and collect 1 thousand naira for transport" "kwara people dey dirty lagos" "ibo people should go.
Politics › Re: Lagos Laments Fg’s Failed Promises by Omexonomy: 8:27am On Jan 30, 2013
truth4meal: you are so not serious. Tell me what the FG did recently in Lagos - should a responsible govt wait to dish out 400million to victim of water disaster or should it prevent it from happening? If the Apapa is pivotal to economic growth should a responsible govt only promise and not follow up with action? If u say the FG is doing dis maybe cos Lagos is in d opposition it will make a faint sense but this ur comment stinks of hatred. If Lagos generate that much don't you think its responsiblity will be in tandem to d same fraction. Well its not topic GEJ is a failure...

kaze4blues: Can't get u bro....cum out clearer
is lagos the only state in nigeria? The last time i check we have 36 states and the fct must the all the fed allocation be spent in lagos alone? Is that how other state are crying for attention like lagos? Lagos alone generate over 50billion IGR monthly and their state that generate lesser.

Desola: Good call! It baffles me that a grossly negligent company that cost so many lives would be allowed to resurrect in the first place. The company should be completely closed down and both the director and aviation minister either made to stand trial or to face a panel and account for their wrong doing!

9icest: Well, the SW is still one of the safest region in the country. No BK. The kidnappers are not having a field day over here...and it seem as if 50% of the Nigerian police are concentrated on the state alone. The other time I checked at the commissioner for police office, I learn they just included anti-terrorism, and anti-kidnapping units. These crimes you are talking about are been committed by non-Lagosians. Too many eyes watching you, little or no privacy, and too many haters who'd happily kill your hustle if its illegal. Eko Oni Baje!
BIG FAT LIE FROM ACN MINIONS. The fact that you can provide security for ur self does not mean that every body can. Having said that, truth is always bitter. But why is it tha t whenever such issue comes up peole like you will want to shot it down.
Politics › Re: Security Situation In Lagos As At Date by Omexonomy: 4:22pm On Jan 29, 2013
truth4meal: This would have been an occasion where Lagosian can candidly appraise the security situation of the state except that - aside from the Topic the body of this thread is a sly attempt at ridicule. Having said that i will want to say this and people who live in Lagos before the present era of AD, ACN democracy should bear me witness - the security of Lagos has tremendously improved. There is certainly to crime free city, state or country in the world so one should not but expect unfortunate incidents like the one the op said befell him. But in all i think Lagos is safer than most states in Country.

Olucheye: Finally our northern brothers can at least go to sleep with their eyes closed and every christian in the North can attend vigils as they wish without the fear of meeting their creator that same night. Whoever urged them to drop their weapons has just solved one of the biggest political mystery's in Nigeria. Kudos!! I just hope they will also talk some sense into their JAMB brothers.
what about the smelling latrine mouthed preacher sheik Gummi .
