Paying of the 1k isn't a problem but how it's being paid is the problem.
Assuming I buy 10 different phones from 10 different deal hunters now, so u saying I will pay 10k each asides d 5h being paid during pickup,instead of it being that I just pay 1k only for d 10phones since they are being named to me. Money as we see isn't easy to come by if it easy for others, we cut our coat according to our size. TLC is meant to be including the total clearance with customs but we know how Nigeria customs behave. Now assuming this money now we pay it as u want us to pay it which seems to be to b 1k for a package. Now imagine 1 deal hunter brings in 10 phones and their about 10 names that bought things, calculate how much is being made

As much as I know that communication was off and all, I kept on hammering that Clone is not a scammer but I couldn't disclose the information I knew about him, it's too private to be out here and If he didn't put it out himself there's no reason for me to drop it.

I've never met Clone personally before in my life, just on a business WhatsApp group but he trusted me with watches we imported from China in 2013/2014 to handle the logistics and drop off with his connect somewhere in Lagos, as at that time, the worth of the deal was about 300k if not more.

When he wanted to start this pick up, he reached out and asked if I would love to handle the logistics when the items arrive in Nigeria but I declined cos I was no longer stable in Lagos, was shuttling between Lagos and Abuja then, remember we've never met but he trusts me so much. And the height was when I needed some huge amount of money in 2016/2017, I reached out to him and he didn't hesitate, he sent the money and asked for time I would refund which I told him and did at the appropriate time.

The point is if Clone never returned here, and he is still owing people, I know that the intention was never to scam them, he wouldn't do such.

It's good to have you back bro, thanks for the trust, and I legit trust you back in return.

Lol about time someone spoke out. The market is saturated and in a desperate bid to make sales, sellers are offering ridiculous prices and buyers are simply cherry picking and even further driving down prices. Same situation played out in the international oil market in the 70's following an oil glut and the solution was the birthing of the oil Cartel - OPEC. A casual look suggests a similar structure to "control/fix" prices might just be what's needed here. Shutting down threads would be counterproductive.
How would an offerup Cartel work? A price floor and price ceiling (upper and lower limits) should be agreed on by sellers for TLC deals and already in Lagos offerup deals. Difference between TLC and already in Lagos should be between 10-20k. Any seller that offers less than the agreed price should be sanctioned by other sellers by "forcing" pickers to deny them service for as long as necessary. This is just rudimentary and I believe the fine details can be worked out.
Dragnet might disagree and want to enforce a free market system but like the OPEC example I cited above, Cartels and unions are a part of every form of business and serve to protect dangerous competition. Time for an offerup sellers Whatsapp group if it doesn't already exist.
