My shipper might not resume shipping till end of June , in respect to finding avenues to have items in Nigeria (please note March 18th shipment has been sitting in France since 20th of March ). Arrangements are on going to hire a van/truck and move items to a shipper in NEW JERSEY (which uses Ethiopian line ) to freight items to Nigeria .

This is not an easy task or short trip on my part, thus , items which were picked as offerup deal at which shipment fee has been paid for .

NOTE[/b]new carrier charges double fees , in goodwill and not with a great smile on my bank account have I come to this decision to ask that only 50% of normal standard shipping rates is to be paid for those whom I’ve picked up items for and those who bought devices through me .

*Ebayers* your rates remains the usual charge to /devices $20/phone and $50/pc respectively .

Please do note that , I am out of space .

Q: Lionlee I can’t afford to pay you extra when I’ve already paid for shipping of my goods at pickup . I think I’ll wait till your shipper is ready .

A: there’s only an extra option to rent a storage space for you in Chicago and you’ll pay the charges here in dollars as I won’t have items occupying spaces .

Q: when will the new shipper ship (is it 2 days ) , can you take my items to another freight forwarder ?

A: items will be dropped off by next Friday at the new shipper , more updates on items landing will be communicated and [b]NO I am not shipping any exclusive items through to another freight forwarder , I can’t be opening boxes packed to single out items and cut bubble wraps (I no Dey town sef na wahala of new shipper (best option )I Dey go about ) . Thank you .

A: yes sure , you can vote , do the kogi style , we all have been patient enough and some on here have items with me as far back as March , I am taking extra funds out of my pocket to make this as cheap as possible , please don’t forget it’s double charged and I’ve asked for only 50% from those who have paid for shipping prior to now (pickup request and phones I sold personally ) that’s a 75% waiver off and you’re only paying 25% of what you should be paying right now for shipping , ebayers still remain with old charge as stated above .

Lastly bulk ebayers will foot the bills of logistics to NJ (hiring van , hotel , gas) this I have also done my maths and split into 2.

First of all, the official price of the S20 Ultra is not and has never been $1000, it is $1400 for the base storage and don't forget that the S20 series became available less than 2 months ago, hence, most of the deals posted by deal hunters are not used, they are new and open box which is different from used, which in turn reflects on their prices. In fact, most whites that buy these phones and resell have not been able to buy because of the pandemic, hence making it very scarce for deal hunters.

Before the COVID-19 issue, flight ban and lockdown started, the cheapest S20 Ultra TLC on this thread sold for #310k when a dollar was #370, now that a dollar is #425... Do you expect it to be cheaper or more expensive.? And mind you, that's #50 increment on a $, not #20. If the ban remains like this till next month, you'll realize a S20 Ultra for #350k is not only a deal but a steal. As at this morning, samsung nigeria authorized centers sell S20 Ultra for 500k. Let's be guided please!

I wish everybody hale and hearty in these trying times, wishes doesn’t do it , ensure you implement pro-active measures to stay healthy and safe .

Measures are required to streamline processes , rules are needed to be followed and penalties to be invoked effectively on various degrees of crimes ( yes it’s term a criminal offense when set rules guiding an institution is broken. )

Artisans have bodies that regulate modalities of operation among members so It irks me that learned and lettered persons on this platform are of the opinion that regulations and penalties shouldn’t be in place to check and balance activities of this group or police events .

The UN has a total member of 193 countries at which you have 10 (world power ) chosen countries who are termed leaders of the UN organization .

Yes issues will definitely arise on grounds of bias, strong arming and etc but this doesn’t cancel out the fact that each member of those 10 countries keep the other in check to have a balanced organization and above par equality for lesser powerful countries in the organization .

Not all can be general , not all can be doctors and not all can be leaders ,

I in my sincere opinion ask that a vote of 7 panel members be created for this purpose to police the activities of the thread , create an MO and guidelines for deals and every aspect related to deals be it TLC and AIN.

Do grant my request to be exempted from this group . Thank you .

Foremost the idea of reaching out to picker to know what and who item was picked for should be zeroed ( pickup duty no be beans , I as a picker won’t tolerate someone messaging me after a hard day driving around and meeting sellers to answer questions about sales of an item )

We can only implore them for steady updates on their thread to put names to items picked ( some of us don’t even like our names showing on the shipment list not to mention “picked for “.

For those wanting to buy tlc do your due diligence , yes they’re great tlc deals but I as a person will never buy a tlc deal I won’t offer for sale . ( when buying a tlc ask yourself if you as a person can offer the deal at such rate if you have the means to and how did that means get by )

Apply logic to your choice of actions and reasons to your words ( i am direct with my choice of words and actions doesn’t mean I should be stupid about them ) I’ve seen a lot of thrash go down on here in words and actions cos some people are of choice of we are in same business ( note : there’s levels to this thing, there’s an MO to this and they should be a code of conduct in whatever businesses done on here ) “ there’s honor among thieves “.

This is why I sell my items to selected people here, the ones that can read and comprehend. I've lost some potential buyers but I have my peace of mind, which is better than after sales complaint.

Seller clearly said item is chip unlocked and you said you've had bad experience yet you asked if the deal can go through by saying shall we?. You even nominated the escrow and at the end of the deal you want to back out, feigning ignorance based on reasons best know to only you.

Buyer, in law ignorance is not an excuse. As an adult you need to be responsible for your actions. Here, you failed to comprehend the ad and key points/message posted by the seller during the conversation pre sale which led to the situation at hand.

In my opinion, if I were a Judge in this case, I'll tell escrow to release money to seller with immediate effect. As a seller, there's every possibility that I might accept the item back but would only refund you when I sell the item.Unfortunately I'm none of the above, so what would I advice you? Plead with seller and hopefully he'll listen.

PS: Buyers always read and understand an ad very well before paying, if you don't understand something, ask questions. If the seller is not replying the way you want, biko leave him/her alone and find another seller.

No hardware or performance faults

No case for refund (funds should be released to seller )

Negligence on buyer’s part as a result of ignorance doesn’t absolve buyer off his responsibilities .

That said , mcmayor is right , that’s actually the best line to toe for dispute resolution .

Have buyer send your item back to you in condition it was shipped to him , escrow releases funds back to buyer . The issue of logistics shouldn’t be discussed on as buyer has to bear the cost .
