Many Christians today have exalted themselves high above their level because of their ‘status’ in church or even in the circular world. Some even add so many titles before their names to impress others and raise their shoulders so high wherever they find themselves. No wonder when they get to the midst of people that don’t know them, in the process of an argument, they begin to ask questions like: Do you know who I am?..... continue reading: http://www.naijagospelgist.com/2016/01/weekend-digest-do-you-know-who-i-am.html |

“And when these lepers came to the utter-most part of the camp, they went into one tent and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household. So they came and called unto the porter of the city, and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and behold, there was no man there, neither voice of men, but horses tied, and asses tied and the tents as they were. And they called the porters; and they told it to the king's house within…” 2Kings 7:8-11 KJV The things that God wrought with His divine power and intervention, these lepers were hiding them. They did not know who terrified those Syrians and pushed them out. They just went and met it and they sat down to eat and drink. For your joy to last and for you to have an ever-increasing joy as a Christian, you must go beyond the eating, the drinking, the collecting of silver and gold and hiding them. You must get to the realm of sharing and the realm of service. If you do not do that, those issues that seem to be conquered will become fresh battles. When a man does not see the vision of investing his life, to raise others that are still sitting in the region of ignorance and darkness, he will enter into problems. It is not only sorrow that kills..... Continued:http://www.naijagospelgist.com/2016/01/a-challenge-to-arise-2-bro-gbile-akanni.html |
You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false. —John 8:44 The devil lies. In fact, the devil doesn't know how to speak the truth. Most Christians know that—and yet they still listen to his evil words. Sometimes the lies seem to just pop into our minds for no apparent reason; sometimes Satan even speaks to us through other people. He puts something critical or hurtful into their minds about us, and they speak it out for us to hear. If we listen and accept what we hear, our enemy rejoices. If we listen long enough to the deceptive information we have taken in, we will find ourselves facing serious problems. ...... How Great Thou Art – The History of the hymn The history of the hymn How Great Thou Art begins with Mr. Carl Gustaf Boberg (1859-1940). He was a Swedish pastor, editor, and member of the Swedish parliament. Mr. Boberg was enjoying a nice walk when a thunderstorm suddenly appeared out of no where. A severe wind began to blow. After the storm was over, Mr. Boberg looked out over the clear bay. He then heard a church bell in the distance. And the words to How Great Thou Art begin to form in his heart -- O Lord, my God, When I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands hath made. . . Can you imagine what Boberg felt as he formed these words? There was such calmness after the fierce storm he could only utter those words of peace. .... Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. —Matthew 7:13-14 For full message, read here :http://www.naijagospelgist.com/2016/01/which-way-will-you-choose-joyce-meyer.html |

Genesis 22:1-3King James Version (KJV) 22 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. YOUR DESTINY FATHER WILL TAKE YOU FURTHER IN LIFE (3) - MALACHI 4:1-6 Many people today are becoming lesser than God planed for them because they are not staying where God wants them to stay to be fathered into destiny. Many people behave like Naaman, the captain of the host of Syria. God said to him through Elisha the prophet, “go and dip in river Jordan seven times”, he said “no, is river Apava not better than river Jordan?” It was actually not water that Naaman needed, he needed obedience to the divine commandment. A person that will be a kingdom star must not be thinking of going where he will be celebrated, he must go where he will be formed and shaped by the mighty hand of God; where he’s prepared and released for destiny..... For those that did nestle test through dragnet yesterday, I want to know if its for both those that applied for field sales manager position & sales analyst or is likelihood of calling another batch? Will appreciate response... |
Oil and gas indeed...God will help us |
I really like ur good intention towards her and her family..from the onset d girl was open and sincere about her background unlike some that will 'form' and pretend about it.pls try persuade ur mum since ur dad has no problem with it because marrying from a rich family is not sinonymous to a good marriage/home... |
I guess they are still accepting applications and d recruitment is towards next year, let's keep our finger crossed and look out for other opportunities... |
It all depends on how ur culture see it. But to me it would have been better if its your elder brother u r. Standing. In for to as best man. There are other ways u can be of support other than being a best man...but d decision is urs sha |
I really have a clear picture of what u are saying because I somehow deal in fmcg items dat are edible and we are being careful of items wit nearer dates and we try to dispose them once d dates are gone. It's unfortunate that most people dat deal in this don't have conscience, they are just after the profits they will make. But if I were you,in the first instance I would have challenged the seller and warn him/her to get them disposed/thrown away instead of endangering people's lives..His/her reaction would determine my next line of action because some little children who don't know difference between their right and left might as well fallen victims of that...may God just help us in this country |
But it should be noted too that regular payment of tithe is not a direct ticket to heaven... |
As much as am a devoted Christian and a worker in my church,I don't really like to marry a sister of the same church.most of them are hypocritical and may not really want to show u their real selves till after marriage.I prefer a sister I know well byond the four walls of church.Though I still prefer a godly and religious sister though being religious and having a good character are two different things.... |
I thought there was supposed to be election. Was she elected by the majority votes or she was unopposedly elected. Nigeria always amuse me with politics everywhere...God will help us. |
So shameful! |
God will help us in this country...they should please release the innocent ruler |
