i am starting to to regret shipping with you guys// ,, my sis sent me a some packages clothes, shoes and her used apple tablet... the one she has been using for over 4 years .. the shipment cost was high cause of the value of naira.. i humbly requested that the apple tabelt be remove from my shipment and i willl have to pay for the shipment of the clothes first and later pay for the ipad to be sent out.. but to my gretaest my request was granted and i was told to provide evidence of payment before they ship it out. eveidence of payment on an ipad of 4 years ?/ i called my sis and she was disapponted in my choice of shippong company when she could have pay more lesss to send it to me through fedex or dhl... kindly help fix this issue as i have no means of getting the invoice

My greatest mistake was on the feeding. I over used foreign and local packaged feed like vital, chi etc.. But over all... Those package fees shouldn't be more than 3 months

To God be the glory. I cropped my fishes yesterday and I sold at a price of 650 per kilo. They were so big and I must say this platform was of great help. I stocked 750 the first time. Now am going 1000.


Lesson learnt.
Make sure you have a good water source
Don't rely on foreign food all through. (first 3 months of foreign feed or naija feed is ok is ok =



The foundation is Germane I Wil recommend you use foreign food for at least two months.... I plan to use aqua feed 2mm for two months in my next stock.

In human we have black, afi, chocolate brown etc.

Too much of everything isn't good. Moderate salt won't kill them as the quantity of the water will override the killing effect of the salt

It is not advisable use First Class Mail to send international packages. That is why it starts with LC which means local mail. It stops tracking when it leaves the U.S.
Ask the recepient to go down to the post office nearest to the address on the envelope and ask for it. Let them go with means of identification.

there are some dead matter or decomposition of organism in the pond & it shows your soil pores are poor in aerating well. Also shows poor oxygen when noticed. Check if you are overfeeding also. Try to change the water to ascertain the real state of your pond & if any strange material is in your pond

funny brother,you have a notion,yet you still ask for treatment. Let me not say much, get aquapro & livestovit. If the feed quality is deficient,vitamin C. Maybe doctors in the house could educate us what treatment is.

prevention they say is better than cure and this also aplly to catfish. However most catfish diseases are opportunistic. Hence u must ensure good management practise by feeding regularly and adequately to avoid nutritional diseases. Also always maintain good water quality. Having said this, u can apply drugs and some chemicals as prophylaxis as u like maybe daily or weekly. D most common chemical u can use is common salt. Apart from killing some disease organism it stimulate fish appetite and improves resistance to handling. U can also use antibîtocs like chloraphenicol, oxytetracycline, procain penicillin, aquaceryl and fishbiotic. They can be added to feed or into their water. U can also use chemicals like pottasium permanganate, formalin and malachite green but be careful not to overdose for all d drugs and chemicals. Use only as recommended. I hope this helps? Regards.

N:b I didnt talk about aquapro and livstovite before some will say we are marketing for d producers...na joke oh. but trust me this too are equally important .

Good morning sirs... I am of the notion that treatment shouldn't be given to the fishes until we see a death or two which I think it isn't wise enough. What drugs can one give to the fishes maybe on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to prevent them against any infection which may lead to death. Thanks.

Obviously you have better things doing that's why.... No Para military starts with use of arms in about 2 or three years they will start fighting to get arms and it will be approved

I believe yes it will automatically cause discomfort and indigestion as the water will get polluted easily, the fish will not have enough room to swim and exercise freely and even to feed well.
Though Catfish have the tendency to adapt in harsh and out of water conditions but if you subject them to such for too long yes they will get weak and die.

If you are having a problem with water supply it will be in the best interest of you and your business to secure a pump and water source even if at extra cost.
