I've actually paid for 10 acres. And I have little farming experience. I studied agric related course but the only problem I'm having here is that of labour cost

Y don't u hire tractor nd clear it at once, I know you will get tractors to do d job in abeokuta, please where is ur farm.

over 2kg by 7weeks it would amaze you at the span they gain weight, even if you feel you should use finisher at the end try and use TOP, though it's expensive

Sir please the market is relative from location to location. I operate in Uyo. The very last off season batch I sold around November and early December was 1k for processors who buy from 5 up whereas households that buy less than 5 goes for 1300-1500......the season market depends on factors like your products, your marketing ability and others......as of today, I heard that the price is pegged at 1200 for processors

ok am happy for you sir, that's how I pay my fees am 16 years, being in the buisness for a year now, I found out that broilers grow very fast being fed only starter and it gives them more appetite using starter only I recommend you to use only TOP starter. And broilers are not fed growers only layers are fed growers before the farmers switches to layer mash.

Wow, so u mean u fed dem with only starter throughout. What is there average body weight.

for 100 broilers, we get average weight of 1.8kg - 2kg.......though sometimes we start selling at 5 weeks......we have sold at 5 weeks 1 day before at 2kg....if you are lucky to start selling at 5 weeks, they might not eat up to the 15 bags

here in my market, we sell at 6 weeks, we use 15 bags, day and night.....i think like 4 starters and the rest finishers

For hw many broiler, nd Wat is d average weight u normally get.

8 bags of starter and at least 16 bags of finisher to get to at least 2,5 kg of live weight and please use top, remember your vaccination and antibiotics

Reading various comments here, i have to smh seriously, so most of you don't know dat d popcorn is actually different from the common type of corn dat u normally buy from market,road side (roasted corn) . The same way we have sweet corn. There are different varieties of corn.
