seges:Buhari has run for 3 times yes, but that was when CHANGE has not come to INEC, now CHANGE has come so we should all embrace it. Buhari is Pro Boko Haram. Shekau says they dont want western Education and Buhari has failed to prove he has attained any form of western Education. |
Revolution:The fuss is that APC asked for change and INEC has endorsed it. ![]() |
Few days after the former Head of State and Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, retd, explained in an affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that all his academic credentials were with the Military Board, the Army have stated that they do not keep the certificates of any serving or retired officer or soldier. General Buhari is contesting the presidential election for the fourth time under different political parties including the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party, ANPP and the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, but the issue of his qualifications had never been controversial until the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, recently described him as a ‘’semi- illiterate.’’ However, against the backdrop of Buhari’s affidavit in court, a military source said ‘’that the Army can not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner,’’ adding that such original certificates were only needed at the point of entry into the service. According to the source, the Military only kept photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers in their personal files that were in the military secretary’s office. “The original certificate of any officer or soldier is only needed at the point of entry into the service either as a cadet officer entering the Nigerian Defence Academy, or the recruitment officers when interviewing recruits to be sent to the depot for training. That is so, because they are needed to verify what were in the photocopies supplied by them or from the necessary examining bodies.” The source further stated that anybody claiming that his original certificates were with the Military Secretary (Army), had ‘’ulterior motive(s) or something he or she cannot explain.’’ He further added, “Let me tell you now, in the Navy, the Navy Secretary, NAVSEC, keep the documents of all Naval officers and ratings and not their original certificates which are their personal property. |
Buhari presidency is simply an Hausa/Muslim AGENDA. |
himkers:The constitution says a candidates must possess a minimum of secondary school cert. should we amend the constitution solely to allow Buhari's candidacy? |
SHEKAU SAYS = NO WESTERN EDUCATION BUHARI REPLIES= I HAVE NO WESTERN EDUCATION CERTIFICATES. I SMELL SOMETHING |
Ikengawo:I keep asking what Buhari has done for himself or any group of people since he lost his job with Abacha? is it Leadership or anti corruption Centre, Business School, or even Cattle Rearing Assistance for Nigerians? NO but the general has concentrated too much on himself and his perennial dream of sleeping in Aso ROCK? but if thats an ambition why not take suitable steps in the right directions to achieve it like enrolling in National open university(NOUN) OR any other university. even if people see nothing good in Gej i will never trade Devil for Satan. |
She has started given back to the poor even before thinking of becoming a first lady. good for her and Jimi Agbaje. |
In an interview granted to Vivian Onyebukwa of The Sun Newspaper on December 27, 2014, Mrs Abiola Agbaje, wife of Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democratic Party’s gubernatorial flag bearer (PDP), Lagos State, speaks about growing up, marriage, society and women in politics, among others. The interview started out with Mrs Agbaje talking about her work supporting blind people – a passion that she picked up from her father who was on the council of the Nigerian Society of the Blind many years ago. A lawyer by profession – having worked for many years in the housing industry with Federal Mortgage Bank and Mutual Trust Savings and Loans before she voluntarily retired – Mrs Agbaje currently holds the role of Chairwoman of the Nigerian Society for the Blind. When asked what she would change if she had the opportunity to change something in society, she stated: “Our Values!”. “The loss of family values” she opined, “is one major factor responsible for the decline in society.” In her words: “We have lost our values. And those values are lost even from childhood. So, what we need to do is go back to the drawing board and retrieve those values we have lost and make sure that our children even from nursery imbibe them. As I find in Nigeria now, I always say it, wrong has become right. People do things now not even thinking about whether they are right or wrong, It is because everybody does it. It has become accepted and we are just going on like that. We need to change, that is the major problem we have. If I could say so, it still goes back to the family unit. If we don’t get the values in our family unit right, there is nothing we can pass on to the society.” On the question of assessing the level of women’s participation in politics, Mrs Agbaje states: “I don’t think any other government has given women as much participation as the Jonathan government. He has done a lot, but we are certainly not where we should be. There are so many areas where women are not at the level they should be. I believe we must always strive to get that gender equality as it will be so necessary to move the country forward.” On the question of what life has taught her, Mrs Agbaje says: “It has taught me that the material things in life, though important, are not the most important. Friendship, love, companionship, helping others are much more important than acquiring and amassing material things.” A good interview in its entirety and great insight into the values that keep the Agbaje’s household grounded. ameenahz:you totally got it wrong, if u indeed took time to read through. what the brothers are saying is simply to teach the sisters not to be too materialistic when it come to marriage. if a sister must work and make all the money will she use it to marry the man? |
yeyenati:Your Presentation can best be summarized with the phrase "we have got money to make" I Cringe when i hear words like this from sisters and even brothers. except we have accepted that the purpose of our existence is simply to make money then there will be nothing to argue about as regards money, money and money demands from brothers before marriage. even though i do not subscribe to the idea of using poverty as a virtue, however i don't believe this should be at the center stage when it comes to finding a future partner. You sound more like the carrier ladies that brags with foreign accent and achievement around town. but i need to let you know here that if you must include financial freedom in your recipe of marriage you must also not be mindful of divine favour which can come and go at anytime. The only advise i will give you is the advice RICH DAD gave which is if you have big money to invest DONT TELL ANYONE YOU HAVE SUCH MONEY. If you do you will see a lot of people asking you to turn your money over to them. BEWARE |

TVC SEEMS TO BE TOO PRO APC, THEY DON'T TOLERATE ANYTHING FROM OTHER PARTIES AT ALL, ESP THE POLITICAL PROGRAMS HOSTED BY YORI, THEY HAVE A LONG LIST OF LAWYERS, MEDIA CONSULTANT AND POLICY ANALYST WHOSE OPINION ARE ALWAYS IN FAVOUR OF APC. IN MOST CASES THEY WILL INVITE 2 OR 3 APC MEMBER TO TALK ABOUT NATIONAL ISSUE CONCERNING FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WITHOUT GIVING A RIGHT OF REPLY TO OTHER PARTIES. IF YOU CALL IN TO CRITICIZE THEM THEY WILL QUICKLY CUT YOU OFF. THAT PROGRAM IS A BIG TIME PROPAGANDA AND A SIMPLE WAY TO BRAINWASH THE GULLIBLE. |
Cameroon (CNN) — Cameroon’s President Paul Biya has ordered the closure of nearly 100 Christian churches in key cities, citing criminal practices organized by Pentecostal pastors that threaten the security of the West African nation. But Pentecostal pastors said the move is evidence of Biya’s insecurity about the churches’ criticism of the government. Biya is using the military to permanently shut down all Pentecostal church denominations in the nation’s capital, Yaounde, and the North West Regional capital, Bamenda, which have the largest Christian populations in Cameroon. More than 50 churches have now been closed, with the government targeting nearly 100 in eight other regions. “We will get rid of all the so-called Christian Pentecostal pastors who misuse the name of Jesus Christ to fake miracles and kill citizens in their churches. They have outstretched their liberty,” Mbu Anthony Lang, a government official in Bamenda, told CNN Wednesday. Nearly 500 Pentecostal churches operate in Cameroon, but fewer than 50 are legal, he added. On Sunday, a 9-year-old Christian girl collapsed and died during a prayer session in Winners’ Chapel, a Pentecostal church in Bamenda. The girl’s mother, Mih Theresa, told CNN Wednesday that the pastor intended to cast out the numerous demons that were in control of her daughter’s life. “I want the government to stop these pastors who use mysterious powers to pull Christians and kill then for more powers. All my children have ran away from the Catholic Church in search for miracles, signs and wonders,” she told CNN while holding back tears. Another Christian, Mveng Thomas, said his marriage ended abruptly when a Pentecostal pastor ordered his wife to dissolve their union. He said the pastor described him as “an unrepentant devil.” Pastors marched against the government’s decision Wednesday in Bamenda and Douala. Pastors said the Biya government sees the mass proliferation of churches as a threat. Boniface Tum, a bishop of the Christian Church of God in Yaounde, said that Biya, who has been president since 1982, is becoming insecure about the freedom of speech within these churches. “Authorizing only the Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, Muslim, and a few other churches, is a strict violation of the right to religion,” Tum added. Targeted Pentecostal Christians in Bamenda are transforming their private homes into churches. North West Regional governor Adolphe Lele L’Afrique said Wednesday that police had discovered the abduction of 30 children under age 18 by a pastor in Bamenda. The pastor said he wanted to remove the children from a bad society, Lele added. Government officials also say that some pastors convince congregants that they do not need professional medical treatment for their ailments. “How can a pastor say the sick needs no medical doctor? We need sanity in our Christian lives,” Nyang Blaise, a youth leader for Biya’s ruling party, CPDM, told CNN. One woman said her mother was refusing cancer treatments because of her pastor. “My mother’s condition is worsening after doctors confirmed she had cancer. She is dying silently, and yet we cannot persuade her to see a doctor for proper treatment, against her pastor’s wish,” Deborah Tanyi said. |
