Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari that disqualified Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha is more relevant than him.

It could be recalled that Tacha became the 18th housemate to leave the house after she broke the house rule. She was seen pulling the hair of a fellow housemate, Mercy twice leading to her eviction from the show.

Omokri, who is a staunch critic of the president and the ruling government pointed that during the absence of Buhari in the country, people didn’t miss him like they are currently missing Tacha.

Unknown gunmen reportedly attacked a three-man team of Police officers on patrol at Ibadan Street, within the Ndiegoro axis of Aba, Abia State.

The incident which also led to the death of one of the Police officer, while one got injured one and the other escaped. The driver of a minibus used for the patrol, according to an eyewitness, also died in the incident.

The Policemen are attached to the Ndiegoro Police Station.

It was gathered that the gunmen also escaped with two rifles assigned to the policemen during the attack. A source further said they also used machetes on one of the policemen, leaving him badly injured.

Meanwhile, Abia State Commissioner of Police, Ene Okon has confirmed the incident. He said two suspects have been apprehended by the Nigerian Police Force in connection with the incident. He also confirmed that two rifles were snatched from the policemen.

“The officers were on normal patrol when they were ambushed by robbers who shot at them, killing one in the process,” he said.

One would think baby factories in Lagos have reduced drastically over the years. However, the police at The Lagos State Command has exposed a baby factory from a confinement camp in the Ikotun area of the state and rescued 19 pregnant young girls.

The sufferers, some of whom are between ages thirteen and twenty eight were allegedly lured to Lagos with promises of great jobs and education.

One of the victims, Hope Bright from Rivers State who recounted her nightmare said her two-year-old child whom she came along with from the village was taken forcefully from her.

According to a victim, she was taken to the clinic immediately she arrived at the factory; her baby was born but was told the baby died.

“As I reached there, the woman checked me. Suddenly, my stomach started kicking me. From there, they said that I will born.

“They took me to the hospital, God helped me I delivered that child, but the baby died,” she narrated.

The police spokesman, Bala Elkana, said in a press conference that the babies were sold based on their sex; male babies were sold for N500,000, the girls were sold for N300,000.

Bayelsa Governor, Seriake Dickson has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is preparing to unleash mayhem, manipulate the electoral processes in their favour ahead of the forthcoming November 16 governorship election.

Speaking during a live media chat, the Governor, who claimed that the APC did not have what it takes to win any election under a peaceful and democratic atmosphere in the state insisted that the ruling party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would win the poll to retain political control in the state as it had always done.

Dickson, who further stated that the opposition party could not produce a candidate with the competence to govern Bayelsa said they lack the presence and will to win a free and fair election in the state.

While dismissing allegations of hobnobbing with the APC, Dickson added that as a politician of conviction, he would keep playing opposition politics.

Nigerian fraudster Invictus Obi (Obinwanne Okeke) has been charged with several counts of fraud and he is expected to forfeit 11 million dollars in assets. He is also facing 30 years in jail. Obinwannne Okeke has been in jail since he was arrested on August 6th, 2019.
