Pep Segura, Barca’s general manager, said negotiations with Liverpool for Brazilian playmaker Coutinho and Borussia Dortmund over a deal for promising French winger Dembele could be finalised within days.

“We have to help the team with reinforcements and they will be here in the coming days,” Segura told Catalan TV station Esport3 after Barca lost the second leg of the Super Cup 2-0 at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu.

“We are discussing the conditions of Coutinho and Dembele.

“We hope they will be Barca players next season.”

Barca’s season has been thrown into turmoil by Neymar’s world record 222 million euro ($261 million) move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

New Barca coach Ernesto Valverde admitted Neymar’s absence has affected the balance of the side.

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, who sent down to his slave (Muhammad, sal Allahu alaihi WA salam) the book (the Qur'an) and has not placed therein any crookedness. [ Al-kahf 18:1]

Different surahs exist in the holy Qur'an and these surahs has so much in them in terms of meaning. It is our duty to try our best and learn understand, recite, practise and to share the knowledge to others.

Al-kahf, named after the cave and the people of the cave. This surah is often played on our airwaves every Friday and many of us do read this surah on daily basis or weekly specially on friday. I particularly read it often, i love narrations.[/color]
The Stories in the Surah.[color=#000000]
1: A few believers fled a city for fear of been persecuted and took refuge in a cave, the sleepoff and later woke to found that the people of the city had become believers.

2:The verses 32-44 discuses a parable of two men, one who was blessed with gardens and the other the poor. The rich man did wrong by showing off is wealth and noble lineage and also telling the poor man "I am greater than you in wealth and men" his wealth was later destroyed and he later rectified is statement by saying Allah is indeed is Lord, there is no power except with Allah. [Al-kahf 18:38] .

3: The third story in the surah is that of Musa or Mosses ( may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) traveling to gain knowledge from another servant of Allah even has a nahbi, Allah made him search for knowledge.

4: This is story of Dhul-Qarnayn a very wealthy and powerful man who never abused the power because of the fear of Allah. He governed according to the wish of Allah.[/color]

Another narration says "The one who reads and understand it with firm conviction and believe will be protected from the trial of dajjal" dajjal means and include

1: A test from people to take away our faith and religion from us
2: The test of wealth, the will come and say worship me and you will never go hungry, i will make you rich.
3: The test of knowledge ( in that what is right will be considered wrong and what is wrong right and it would be believed.
4: The test of power ( where people would love to be powerful and want to command authority so the begin to worship the devil because the dajjal will instruct them to do that.


Protections, power authority and kingdom will be for Allah alone La ilaha ill-Allah none has the right to be worshipped but Allah! Jummah Mubarak!

A nearly 500m (1,640ft) bridge for hikers billed as the longest hanging pedestrian bridge in the world has opened near the Swiss town of Zermatt.

The 494m bridge, named the Europabrücke (Europe Bridge), hangs up to 85m above the Grabengufer ravine.
The world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge was opened in Switzerland on Sunday, a ribbon-thin span nearly a third of a mile long that challenges hikers to proceed in places at nearly 28 stories above ground.
Officials in the south of Switzerland unveiled the bridge after just 10 weeks of construction. It measures 1,620 feet long and rises as high as 278 feet above the Grabengufer ravine.
The steel structure connects two sections of a trail between Grächen and Zermatt, a popular two-day hike. The local tourist authority warns that the high bridge is “for hikers with no fear of heights.”

WhileLeicester City continue to wait on the signing of Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, it has been revealed that the protracted image right court case is responsible for the delay in the move.

Leicester are ready to complete the move for the 20-year-old Nigeria international, having agreed a £25million fee almost four weeks ago.

The club is still waiting for the result of a legal dispute between Iheanacho’s former and current agents surrounding the striker’s image rights.

It is understood this legal battle will have no impact on Leicester eventually completing the deal, only to prolong the delay.
Leicester are hopeful they will sign Iheanacho before the end of pre-season.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed earlier this month that Iheanacho was due to leave Manchester “in 10 days”, with Leicester the expected destination.

Those 10 days have now passed, but Guardiola said over the weekend that he still expects the move to go ahead.

“I think Kelechi leaves us in favour of Leicester” he said. “I think so, but I do not want to say anything wrong either.

The Ramadan period has offered numerous opportunities to learn a lot about the religion through practice and sermon. It also provided a chance to walk in the path of the needy and the poor and gives one the mind-set to thank Allah for everything he has done even for the gift of life.



What next after Ramadan?

As Muslims, we must always remember that our core duty on earth is to serve Allah.

Allah says in Qur’an 51 verse 56: And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

The lessons learn during Ramadan are not just for the holy month alone but serve as guides on how to live our lives to serving Allah. If you have suspended the consumption of alcohol, will it be wise to go for the bottle again just because Ramadan is over?

If you reason for doing away temporarily with sins and vices during Ramadan is to strengthen your relationship with Allah, don’t you want that same relationship again?

If you love Allah and fear him, shouldn’t you capitalise on the opportunity Ramadan has presented and start living a better and more fulfilling life?

Remember that Allah who is capable of showering you with blessing during Ramadan is all powerful to keep the flow on.

Remember that your actions as they affect your religious life will testify on the day of judgement and as Allah has promised, we all shall be judged accordingly.

Some Muslims hold on to the wishful thought that they should “enjoy lie” a bit until they are older before they fully turn to Allah. As much as we pray for long life, no one know when the hour will come.



Allah says in Qur’an 31 verse 34: Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Therefore we thank Allah for everything he has done and for making us one of those who participated in this year’s Ramadan.we should continue with the act cultivated during the holy month & also be eager to fast the six days of Shawwal. Continue the momentum you have built during the holy month and Insha Allah, you will be rewarded accordingly. Jumah Mubarak.
