The Corvus os was not so smooth on my phone. Maybe it was 3gb ram issue or because I flashed the one with in-built gapps. But I moved to Evolution X immediately. And it is just as sleek and smooth like the Oxygen OS

Then flash corvus,
Gapps and
Magisk latest version at the same time.
Then flash magisk again after the phone has loaded.

You didn't flash the latest firmware for your phone in your own case?

Flashing the one with built-in gapps will save you the hassles.

And know that flashing the vanilla version will require to flash gapps too. So, get stuffs in handy before proceeding.

Though I am on the the process of flashing Corvus os too. Because I heard it is a good rom for gaming. And has more customizations.

My mistake was that I already downloaded the one with in built gapps, and according to the review from Corvus group, the one with inbuilt gapps use more phone ram compared to the one with no gapps.

LtChisom try this MIUI 12 custom ROM when it's available for ur device. It's smooth,stable, no lag, no rebooting, no weird app behavior and finally battery friendly

Well maybe it was lagging on my phone because it is 3gb ram. It was not funny. WhatsApp became slow and all the phone was freezing somehow which was not so on my normal miui 11 rom. Till I moved to this new rom which has been so nice and cool.

lol thanks boss. I was initially on miui 12. But noticed that my phone became slow and was lagging small small after flashing MIUI 12. So I had to flashed back this current one which has been very smooth and lovely. I love everything about this new rom.

Now rocking Oneplus custom rom. Thanks to my boss Olayinkjnr for putting all through since morning

Thanks to everyone for your support. I just successfully moved from my Chinese ROM to Global ROM now.

I really appreciate you all for your immense support.

What I did was to download the version 2016 of Mi flash tool and move the Global rom to desktop on my laptop. And it worked like magic. I really appreciate you all.

Which version of Mi flash tool did you install? This version showed me pepper while using it. It showed
'paused ' instead of the usual 'success ' after a successful flashing of extracted fastboot ROM. I just left and watched until the phone boot to system. It's better you use an older version.

Good evening boss. Mi flash shows success when i tried to flash in fatsboot mode but nothing happens when phone is rebooted. It shows the same china rom. Please what can i do?

I did one recently although for RN8 ginkgo. I used Xiaomi geek bot on telegram to get the fastboot rom (.tgz file) which I downloaded. I extracted the fastboot rom once and copied it to my laptop desktop. I finally flashed d extracted fastboot rom with aid of Mi Flash tool. U can chat with scotweezy and jboixxx on telegram they were very helpful to me.
