It will be recalled the Shettima bruntly refused to yield the security advice given to him by WAEC, NECO, Police, NSCDC, the Military, Vigilante, well meaning Nigerians to relocate the girls to Maiduguri for their exams. Instead he promised security which turned to kidnap for over one year. He gave each girl family N1m to keep quiet and not to implicate the schl VP.
