Kids got faster thesedays. I see nothing wrong in a 9 year old learning such. I was 9 years old when I started JSS1 and this was one of the topics in Integrated Science.

Besides at this age or below, they're vulnerable to being 'raped' by some. Neighbor or Uncle threatening them not to tell or they 'die'.

If they know early enough the repercussions of going close than normal to men, the better.

Im Sorry to say this, contrary to everyone's opinion... Sex education at age 9 is not too early. U as the parent should have started way earlier than that... By making her understand every part of her body... How it is different from a boy and the kind of changes she should expect as she grows..... At age 9, many of these kids have started menstruating and if Care i s not taking, hmmmmmmmmm. the details of what is going on in their life needs to be explained to them......
We cant use our generation now to judge......I didnt know what sex education is till probably Ss1 when a group of young Doctors came to lecture us in my sec xool then and then distributed free sanitary pads.... But u cant wait till then now...... Coz then, many of us just started menstruating not now that they have began since age 9. Civilisation has worsened the system not just education but in every wise, U ll see a 1yr old wearing bum short to church and parents feel there is nothing wrong with that... The child is innocent... Y then expose her body...no wonder, peadophiles are everywhere.. . Let every parent be careful..... This is a sensitive post I must say....
