iamblessed4ever:
The best noodle I have had in naija is UNO noodles, when I served in Lagos in 2008,they sold it almost everywhere, suddenly the thing disappeared, they suddenly stopped selling it, it pained me seriously I stuck with indomie, don't know if I have tried dangote but I doubt it because if it was that good I would have stuck to it, I also like Cherie, chikki I don't like, found ramen noodles some months ago, fell in love completely and bam they stopped selling it, what is wrong with people? if you notice that a product is in high demand why wont you continue, consistency is key. Anyway I'm still hoping and praying I find my uno noodles again.
UNO is back in d market.i ate it yesterday

It might also interest you to know that my school had set an untainted record for zero tolerance to examination malpractice. If you ever became a scape goat, you will lose your admission and will be expelled. They normally use one big grammar to make it sound scary and intimidating to we students then..

"Rustication" was the word they used.

And after you've been expelled, they will run adverts in all the major newspapers their money could afford showing the whole world that you are the blackest of the black sheep. Thank heavens my school hasn't yet attained that level where everything happens with the computer, otherwise they might even have gone as far as tagging you on Fb, Instagram and Twitter to still let you know you've been evicted.

Not too long ago, a 19-year old young man named Terhile Jirbo went to empty his bowels in a bush near the factory owned by Dangote Cement in Che Kucha, near Gboko. An argument ensued between the young man and a soldier on guard duty near the factory. The soldier is reported to have ordered the young man to remove the excreta with his mouth. He said he would do no such a thing. Taken aback by the
man’s effrontery, the soldier reportedly shot him in the mouth.

Mercifully, the young man, though badly battered with all his teeth gone, managed to survive the brutal attack. Even then, there was a spontaneous reaction from the community. A peaceful demonstration was held to protest the action of the soldier. The soldiers on guard this time reacted by shooting six young men and one woman to death.

The victims were identified as Doose Ornguze, 19, female; Luper Nongo Igber, 20, male; Timothy Terngu Mase, 21, male; Myom Mbaume, 25, male; Aondoyima Tyokase, 26, male; Iornenge Anum, 35,
male and Aondoakura Tseeneke, 36, male. They were killed in violation of their rights to life and human dignity as enshrined in Chapter Four of the Nigerian Constitution.

That was a sad incident, made more so by the fact that the demonstrators who were sent to their early graves were not armed and did not pose any danger to the soldiers on duty on that bloody day. More tragic than the coldblooded extra judicial murder of the innocent citizens has been the failure of the government to investigate the senseless multiple murders let alone give an explanation as to what led to the killings.

There has also been no compensation to those who were wounded by the soldiers or to the families of those who were killed on that day.

The bloody incident is clearly an indication that all is not well between Dangote and the host community at the factory. That there is no provision for toileting facilities in the precincts of the factory is an indication that the company has poor relations with its immediate host community. For all the wealth
that is generated from the limestone mined under their soil, it is regrettable that the company has nothing to show as its contribution to the welfare of the locals. Such a situation usually creates tension which explodes under the slightest provocation.

@poster

I wouldn't mind if one was in a long time relationship
but when ones not sure how firm ones feet are in the R/S? then that's a no no
This thread has brought back some old laughable memories for me sha
kos that is how I found out that my ex was cheating on me
There i was minding my own business and this lady comes knocking on the door
she had forgotten her nightie from the previous weekend.
i asked her to describe who she was with, and she described him to a pat
i asked her to show me the room she had slept in and she walked straight towards the master bedroom
she then told round and asked who i was, and i replied that i was his sister
I asked her if he knew she was coming round that day,she said she left him a message on his phone
i asked her to stay for lunch and then called my man and told him he had a visitor, that he needed to get home quickly
you should have seen the look on his face when he walked in and saw her eating
i have laughed and cried at the memory ,but thank God it just brings laughter today
Thank God for the marking of that territory heh!
