Honestly this drama during this election period has realy opened my eyes as an Igbo person to things I have overlooked b4 and I have taken some critical deciscion. One is that I will reduce my exposure to Lagos completely to zero both investments, businesswise etc. I was in the east for like a week and I was realy impressed, eg Awka is wearing new look, with highbrow area springing up and enough land to develop. These are all we leave to go and dwell in lands where we are not appreciated.
The time has come for we Igbos to forget all these running away from our place, let us go home and develop our place. This should be our agenda, if we do so in the next 10 to 20 years we will be glad we did. As for me I have made up my mind.

The SS were not the one that lost close to 3million of their people during the foolish Biafra war but yet the IGBO are thinking of aligning with them

Lets assume the SS AND SE get their wish, start war, win the war and start an independent state
Whats the Guarantee that the SS would not betray the IGBO and cut themselves out of the UNION, because I don't see the SS let the IGBO near their oil
Look at SouthSudan after years of Agitation for separation from the north, they got their wish and started killing their selves over oil and leadership

We should all strive to make this country better rather than divide it because their is no guarantee that the divided units would not continue fighting themselves into further divisions. Its only our oneness has Nigeria that's holding us together like a glue and we need to make the glue stronger.

It only appear as if the SS and SE are the epicentre of electoral violence because GEJ did not win. There would have been massive killings if GEJ had won the election in the North.
It is a worrisome situation, my fears are that it should not extend to oil facilities our mainstay economic product. Already, some states have not been able to pay salaries for many months.
I still consider GEJ as the father of modern day democracy in Nigeria.

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has urged his supporters to disregard the figures being circulated online.
