one principal thing i know about Jehovah's witnesses is that they give message of hope to all downhearted persons only if they are given the opportunity, Their news is real and true good news from the bible. You will noticed that if you have ever listened to them with a non-biased view about them.

I am also very very interested in the help of our big brothers and sisters in programming. I am a novice when it comes to software programming. If someone out there can offer his or her help in carrying us (Novice) right from the scratch - FUNDAMENTALS - of programming then the person (s) should only wait for God's blessing because it will shower on him or her.

One more thing please. For a complete novice who wants to start programming, which language should he start with or which particular course should he study?

why not use a hand book? that should be more easier.

what do all does acronyms mean? HDSE i could only find something relating to Help Desk Site Engineer.

First time I am hearing those acronyms.

Dont waste your money, on that stuff. You know what you are capable of doing, people can only suggest, they don't know you as much as you know yourself so up to you. If you are looking for something marketable. Dont go for all these acronyms, go with something generic that everyone knows.

i was thinking i would have more job prospects in and outside of Nigeria with the Certificates.

Also i am not expectings some real practical stuff in any of the Nigerian Universities of Polytecnics. but what you guys are saying is making me think twice.

please i need some more advice and conviction before i take any step further.

Earlier before the hip hop awards, i and my younger sister argued continously all day about P-square. Well for me i maintained my stand that 9ice is much better than P-square, that Gongo Aso is better than Do Me. She said that i was wrong, that P-sqaure has got the awards rollin into their hands.

she beted that p-square would win all the awards at the hip hop awards and that 9ice would win nothing. I told her to wait and see what will happen.

to be sincere i for myself did not suspect that the most famous p-square would go home after the awards with their hands empty.

Even after they said this: " we've not lost any award before so it's not going to be this night".

that was they said when they were interviewed on the yellow carpet on the award night. imagine overconfidence at the highest level and degree.

their mouth don open to much.

well, when i told my sister the news of their failure at the awards, and what the P-square said afterwards,

guess what she said "dem no serious" dem dey stupid".

THAT WAS A FAN THEY JUST LOST.

well 'stupid' is harsh but sincerely that describes their folisheness.

they better go to the studio to record some sort of apology song to their fans or else they will lose all of them foreve,

they really should learn how to be humble and technical when it comes to music business.

The whole course fee, textbook fee, project and examination, certificate everything cost N870,000 for two to three years. DISM alone cost N250,000.

Please i need some advice from Nairalanders, should i go for it? should i take only the DISM course?

i despised her music during the period MTV base was showing it on TV eni how.

to think she was half nude and embrassing with 50 cent, men that is shit. maybe she was druged to do that video.

the first time i watched justin timberlake video (My Love to be precise), i fell in love with his music.

i mean that there are people that are not in good terms with any music R&B ( I am one of those), but to tell you the fact i can buy the justin tmberlake album even though i know at least there are elements of R&B inside it. I know i would enjoy the flow of Lyrics, THE BEATS (instrumentals) especially ( Refrence to 'What goes around , Know the track i am talking about), the perfectly organized dance and so on.

As for the usher album it does not carry me along.

in short i prefer justin to usher.

I stay in Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos. i need books on computer programming, software development, at least for beginners like me. I want a book that will make me learn from the scratch (i.e. what is computer programming) .

Please can some one suggest to or tell me where i can find in Lagos city, and at what price? A simple-to-understand computer programming book.

COsfinshed from NIIT, i would say NIIT bi still suggest you go to each of the skools for councelling either of NIIT, APTECH KAROX, BITRAX or INFORMATICS, anyone. Look around the skools and the environment. The one that suits u best, go for it having in mind that u are attending the school to gain 40% knowledge and the remaining 60% is urs to execute. Spend time online, join discussion groups, forums to tap from other people's knowledge all over the world and of course, ebooks club. I have been programming java for over 5yrs and i have na bought a hard copy book, because why? I have more than 200 books on different stuffs on my laptop all from the net. The net is an advantage, Use it wisely!!!!!!!!!

The first thing we were taight in NIT if i can remember was ISAS, Information Search Analysis Skills, How to usthe internet to get what u want witout spending much time. We were taught aw to use keywords and knowing which search engine to use at any given time, it goes on and on,
