ADC can't Field a northern, they will loose the elections. The whole south will vote for Tinubu if Obi Is not on the ballot, the south won't vote another northern in 2027, God forbid bad thing 😭! So relax, Obi is your presidential candidate for ADC 2027, and you can take that to the bank. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Defection - Political Suicide? by Omowale2023(m): 10:07pm On Jan 07 |
You people aren't reading between the lines......ADC Is preparing for 2031, they need the obedients votes in 2031, hence the only possible way is to give them the ticket(obi) in 2027 and they will reciprocate it in 2031, so I won't be surprised if Obi is the flag bearer of the party come 2027. ADC is aware it's time for the South and if they field any thing different, they will loose the elections before it beings. ADC is trying not to commit or repeat the same mistakes of PDP IN 2023. ADC are brilliant students of History, why? Because people(ADC, 2027) who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it (PDP, 2023) ADC are playing the long game. And APC Supporters have no damn clue about it. |

Razzness: Oga stop talking with emotions, tell me just one thing that Obi has over Kwankwaso that will make him deputize for Obi. Kwankwaso is the biggest politician in the North after Atiku, he is more educated, he has been in politics longer than Obi, has held more political positions and by extension has more experience. The biggest disservice Kwankwaso will ever do to himself is to serve as deputy for Peter Obi and this is a fact. Sir, the political dynamics dictates that A Southern should run for president, so Kwankwaso no matter how powerful he thinks he is should stealth his sword and deputize obi, this has nothing to do with their careers or experience, but with the feel and dynamics of the Nigerian political system, therefore no matter what happens, the fastest way for Kwankwaso to be the president is to deputize obi, or go to APC and wait for 12 years, the choice is left for him to ponder and take. |

seunmsg: Politicians are not always emotional like you. They analyze the situation and make pragmatic choices. Kwakwanso will likely head to ADC or eat the humble pie and follow his godson to APC. If the former is the case, Ganduje and his group will prefer to stay back in APC and work with Yusuf than go and bow to the arrogant Kwakwanso in ADC. So you see, head or tail, APC wins. Dey play. Kwankwaso and ganduje can't work together. Tinubu knows this, that's why he went for the governor instead of Kwankwaso, but Tinubu failed to realize that it's Kwankwaso that made Yusuf a governor, so Kwankwaso himself has become a kingmaker. Tinubu needs Kwankwaso not the other way around. |

Politics › Re: Obi Will Compete For ADC Presidential Ticket - Ex-National Chairman, Nwosu by Omowale2023(m): 5:36pm On Jan 03 |
obaidan: I like your healthy engagement. But let's talk numbers a bit. Obi is weakened in the south, he will not have as much votes in the south as he did in 2023. Even in SE states(because of the greed of the governors that cross carpeted, ofcourse he will win SE states but his numbers will reduce compared to 2023), so where is the other place available to make up for that reduced strength -The North. Now let's look at the North. If Atiku(or another strong northerner) is not on the ballot and the north has a choice to make between Obi and Tinubu, the North will go APC way for 4 possible reasons(sadly dirty reasons)- 1. There is no incentive to queue behind Obi(who will have a constitutional right to do 8 years after Tinubus 4 years, the north dont play with power like that, even when its not their turn they want power at all cost) 2. Tinubu has better reach in the north, associates, people that have benefitted from him and wants to repay, people that feel his government will reward them. 3. Just like tribal bias, Religious bias is real and alive in Nigeria. The majority of the north see even northern Christians not one of them. If it comes to making a choice between obi and tinubu, they will most likely see tinubu as someone they share faith with and one of their own. 4. The movement of governors to APC- this is key. It is Nigerian politics, he who pays the piper largely dictates the tune. The governors have the resources and instrument of state to manipulate the majority of the people(majority are poor financially and in reasoning). Even the so called elites who should have sense all over the country, u will hear them celebrate mediocrity from politicians. Now imagine how easy it will be for governors to manipulate the poor.
The kano politics you talked about, dont forget in 2023 tinubu had 517k votes, for 2027 he already has current Kano governor and a large part of the NNPP family on his side. And if we will tell ourselves the truth, Kwankwaso will never work for obi ahead of tinubu except ADC will give him ticket(which will not happen).
However I agree with you that ADC may be preparing for 2031, which will make Obi a pawn. They will use him in 2027, but it will be difficult to get sufficient votes. Hmmmm.........I agree with everything you said with 98% accuracy. There are only 2 things that I don't agree with you. First of all, obi might be weakened in the South, but if ADC can give him the ticket, trust me, Obi will be stronger than ever, it's then you will see foot soldiers all over Nigeria coming out in troops to support and promote the movement, don't estimate the power of the people and obi knows the right things to say to the people. Secondly, the governors movements have nothing to do with anything, in fact it has become an unhealthy competition in APC, I can guarantee you they will be too many in-house fightings that will happen in 2027, looking at back at 2023, obi had nobody with him by his side, not even a LGA chairman, and he was able to pull 6.1 million votes, now that he has structures around him, what do you expect his votes turn-out will be? Everything is working out in the favor of obi has we speak. That man is highly blessed. In-conculsion, the reason why obi lost in 2023 was because he didn't have structures to protect his votes, now he has gotten it ADC, It might will be extremely difficult for Tinubu in 2027, that I can assure you, or can I?.....🤔🤔🤔 |

Politics › Re: Obi Will Compete For ADC Presidential Ticket - Ex-National Chairman, Nwosu by Omowale2023(m): 5:08pm On Jan 03 |
Gudvibez: With all these your analysis, Tinubu will still win. We all know how Nigeria Politics look like. Kwankwaso join APC or not Tinubu will still win. That just the reality. How?, he knows he can't win if some certain political heavy weights in the North doesn't support him. It's the North that made him the president, Tinubu is quite aware the North can also destroy him, that's why he keeps romancing the southern governors. Tinubu's game plan is the north made me president in 2023, the south will make me the president in 2027, Tinubu is seriously praying that ADC gives its ticket to the North, then he can have a sign of relief 😮💨 that the whole south will vote for him. Even obedients and disobedients alike will campaign for Tinubu including my proud self if ADC gives its presidential ticket to Atiku, in the innermost depths of ADC hearts, they know they can't give their presidential ticket to Atiku, So you see, ADC can't afford not to give its presidential ticket to Obi if they want to stand a chance to win in 2027, although 99% of Nigerians believe that whatever happens Tinubu still wins the elections, or would he?.....🤔 |
Politics › Re: Obi Will Compete For ADC Presidential Ticket - Ex-National Chairman, Nwosu by Omowale2023(m): 4:24pm On Jan 03 |
obaidan: A southerner winning ADC ticket is the fastest way to return Bola Tinubu in 2027. The North does not have any incentive to vote for a new southerner(that may want to do 8 years-because it will be his/her rights to do 2 terms). And thinking the North will be comfortable with and agree to "he will do just 1 term" narrative is the biggest joke of the century. I hope the ADC crew know what they are doing, this is politics, its a game of numbers. Its a selfish game. Power needs to be captured first, before u start talking about arrangement or order of things. APC in 2023 did muslim/muslim, not because they dont rate Christians, but because northern votes needs to be won first(sadly a muslim northerner is what will bring the votes). You dont play politics with sentiments. You target the numbers, with whatever strategy that will work But the current dynamics states otherwise, Nobody in the South will vote for a northern in 2027, obi and ADC knows that. Obi is using it as an advantage to hold ADC by the balls, if ADC wants to win the 2031 elections, They must field a southern in 2027, you can't expect ADC to repeat the Mistakes of PDP in 2023, they aren't that stupid. The only way Tinubu can win 2027 is If he can beg Kwankwaso to come to APC and be his VICE. Then is Game over for ADC and all opposition parties. The truth is OBI won't come to ADC if he won't be giving the Ticket, it just common sense. The problem is APC aren't reading in-between the lines. They can't see the game been played, is not for 2027, but for 2031. |

seunmsg: You’re capping nonsense. Is VAT a new tax? If she had made the same purchases last year, would she not have paid the exact same amount as VAT? So, why will any manufacturer increase price in January over a VAT law that has been in effect since the 90’s?
Again, are you aware that with effect from 1st of January, 2026, Company Income Tax has reduced from 30% to 25%? So, will manufacturers whose CIT has been reduced force any price increment on their customers? Does that make any sense? Are you even aware that companies with an annual turnover of < 100m are now fully exempt from CIT? So, why will such companies push any increment to customers? Do you known a business? Because if you did, you won't utter this comment. There's no way a business will pay extra for the NTA(New Tax Act), they will push it to the end-users, it has always been like that. So your comments are very invalid. The companies that are making >100 million nkor? They would definitely push for any increments. And which companies dominate the markets in Nigeria? Your guess is a bad as mine, or is it? |

If I don't trust in u I won't join u so why did obi port to Adc when he already called them criminal once, because that's the only place he can achieve his ambition. There's 50% tinubu will spend 8 yrs, 50% obi won't win, 50% obi will win, 50% obi doing one term, 50% tinubu will do one term. 100% the northern will win when it comes to them again and d candidate will do 8yrs and 50% another north will contest again. Hmmm, the truth is there are many ways to enter the market, but the problem is Nigerians are used to one-way traffic, when someone does a different thing, you say he can't win. But we saw how obi used social media to campaign differently and spread his message. Furthermore, the writer is 100% right, all defectors can't like Tinubu, but we Nigerians believe otherwise, 2027 will be exceedingly interesting. |
