Business / Re: Naira To Be Delisted From Crypto P2P Platforms by Omowale2023(m): 5:31pm On May 07 |
clearcrystal: This is a good news. All those lazy youth that are hell bent on destroying our economy by trading and speculating the exchange rate on P2P platforms are in deep shit already. Instead of investing in physical asset they prefer to get rich quicker by trading USDT in the comfort of their bedroom at the detriment of our economy. I keep telling people the rate we see online is not the true exchange rate. I'm sure they will switch to Telegram but don't be surprised in 2 weeks time the CBN will equally ban Telegram.
Your assertions are very-very unwise. So if they go to WhatsApp?, will they ban that too? The only way to solve this dollar issue to increase the economy through production. Nigeria wants to eat their cake and have it. It's not possible! 1 Like |

drugBaronTINUBU: Fellow Obedients, It is now very clear we are dealing with mad people. Imagine what someone tweeted and his evidence It is that bad. The plan is to mislead people and do the GEJ treatment on Obi. But we are just starting.
Many are mad. Few are roamingTanzania has shut down five hydroelectric stations to reduce excess electricity in the national grid, the prime minister Kassim Majaliwa has said.
According to Majaliwa, the main plant, Mwalimu Nyerere Hydroelectric Station, has alone generated enough electricity to power major cities.
Among the cities that are being powered is Dar es Salaam, the country’s commercial hub.
“We have turned off all these stations because the demand is low and the electricity production is too much, we have no allocation now,” an official from the state-run power company, Tanesco, said.
The 2,115 MW Julius Nyerere hydropower dam is said to be almost full of water, following heavy rains that started early this year.
A current spell of extreme weather has led to at least 58 deaths in Tanzania and devastated other East African nations like Kenya.
It is the first time Tanzania, which suffers chronic power shortages, has closed hydroelectric stations as a result of excess production.https://guardian.ng/news/tanzania-shut-down-hydroelectric-stations-to-cut-excess-electricity/#:~:text=Tanzania |

chopnaira: Brilliant submission OP.
APC has not even started. It's still Reno doing a lone wolf job for PDP. . APC only released the yes daddy tape and tempered down. I am sure they will start firing from all cylinders by 2026.
I also mentioned in a previous thread that Obi only got lucky in 2023 because his declaration came as a suprise to everyone, so voters and people did not have enough time to beam lights on his abysmal performance in Anambra, even though some of us knew he was full of shit. Several past social media post, including those on Nairaland are a testimony to that.
His brand has been taking multiple hits. In less than a year, the Obidient crowd has changed from a more multi ethnic group to now almost a purely Ibo political group. Wow.....Just wow! Normally i don't comment on nonsensical posts. But with you, i will make an exception. With the negative de-marketing of PO, all i can say is, you all are making him more popular. Accordingly to psychological research, Which has be proven countless times TRUE!, Its states that: "Human beigns are drawn to negativity than positivity". That's why we don't remember the countless positive things people do for us, but when they do a bad thing against our persona, we tag the person "Wicked". It's also the same reason why we would click on this headline- "10 REASONS WHY MASTURBATING A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY". Instead of: 'Eating 5 apples a day makes you healthy all always'. So, if you think you are making obi lose popularity, you are dead-wrong, in-fact! You are drawing more people closer and closer to him. You too should reason this: will i attack, destroy or waste my energy on someone who isn't a threat? Please reason it well! It might help you. |

You used to be more reasonable than this.
You used to speak with facts and commonsense but I don’t know what happened to you.
Not even Tinubu himself would say what you are saying.
All those who doubted Obi before the elections have all hidden their faces in shame but you have refused to enthrone reason but chose to dwell in inanities.
Obi won Abuja
Obi won Nasarawa
Obi won Plateau
Obi lost Benue by just 3k votes.
Obi won Lagos
Obi won Edo
Obi won Cross River
Obi won Delta even when PDP Presidential running mate was from that state and a sitting governor.
Obi won Rivers.
Talking about Southeast would amount to overkill.
Yet you sit here and blab?
You said this on another thread and I ignored you and you came here to say it again.
I would understand if you don’t want Obi to become president for whatever your reason(s) might be, but don’t ever come around my space and be illogical and irrational.
You should know I don’t roll like that Don't mind them, I stopped arguing with all this set of animals long time ago. It's a real shame we breathe the same oxygen. Really shame! |

How can Umahi with so much achievements be second choice while the one with nothing to his name is your first choice?.. see witchcraft o Okay. I will assume you voted emilokan in 2023. So that's out of the way. Umahi & soludo are better than obi, and yes obi will not do better than Tinubu. Therefore, if Umahi is better, why didn't he come out to run for president?. You are the main reason why Nigeria will never be better: Why?, Because you think life is a bed of roses. You think political structures are everything. According to your false narrative: "If you're not in a main party, you can't win an election". But you are not God, you can rubbish obi and praise Tinubu all you like, but one thing is for sure, no igbo man will never have the political clout obi has. So you can shove your dumb narrative and useless opinions up your ass or down your throat. Your forking choice. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mechanical failure is the main cause of diesel engine maintenance callouts to marine vessels.
The marine engine or ship’s main or auxiliary engine is the heart of the ship; and it needs maintenance too for smooth operation. With all major loading and discharge schedules made in advance; any critical damage leads to a huge loss of money and time.
With the main engine accounting, more than 30% of the total machinery cost in the engine room. It becomes more important to keep it in shape from a monetary point of view. Onboard ship, it is one of the works of the duty engineer; to perform inspection and maintenance of the main engine.
Most diesel engine owners know that there are explicit directions provided by marine diesel manufacturers in order to keep the engine functioning optimally. Manufacturers recommend regularly keeping up with these tasks if you want to ensure preventable issues don’t occur.

Paper loss
Cadbury is in great hands. The majority shareholder is getting a steal by increasing its stake in Cadbury Nigeria immediately after a forex devaluation before the naira recovers fully and cancel their forex gain in naira; purely smart business decision. You don't increase your stake in a bad business.
Only cyberbullies with zero knowledge of financial statements will struggle to understand that this is a paper loss and that the winner is the majority shareholder. Check my signature for free stuffs! Bro....you like saying the opposite. Somebody reported losses, you say it's paper loss. How? And some people will say you know what you are saying. If you don't know what floating of naira means, just rest. Certain discussion are way above most of u. From Obi said he will not float naira to this.
Bro.....he never said ye will float the naira. What he meant his; he knows the policies and programs needed to ensure the naira becomes strong. Tinubu also never said he will float the naira, he did it when he was in power. Get your facts right |

I have replied him, if u are not aware that Obi and Atiku said it emphatically without mincing words that they would remove subsidy and float naira, I can't help u.
Obi and Atiku agreed to remove fuel subsidy, but they never said they will float the naira. Stop spreading misinformation |

nifemi25: Thou the economy is not friendly now but still wondering how you spent 200k in just a week...since you said you don't womanize neither drink or smoke ..... Definitely you are into gambling or spend lavishly....
I can assure you if you earn 1million as salary , you will still complain at the end of the month...most family man here in Lagos earns between 80 and 120 and they still survive..try as much as possible to spend wisely so as to know where your problem is... I totally disagree with you. I have sent 200k in 2 days. I had to pick between repairing my phone at 40k or buying a new reasonable phone @150k. I had 90k on me. I just decided to close my eyes and repair my 2 Samsung phones at 77k. The economy is hard, but with God, we are harder! |
