The United States and its allies have ramped up efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, deploying low-flying warplanes to strike Iranian boats and Apache helicopters to intercept drones, US officials said told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, the top US general, Dan Caine, announced that US A-10 Thunderbolt II jets, commonly known as the Warthog, had entered the war and were on missions along Iran’s southern flank.

The A-10 is “hunting and killing fast-attack watercraft in the Straits of Hormuz,” Gen. Caine said in remarks to the press at the Pentagon. “In addition, AH-64 Apaches have joined the fight on the southern flank, and they continue to work on the southern side. And that includes some of our allies who are using Apaches to handle one-way attack drones.”

The Strait of Hormuz, a waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman on Iran’s southern coast, is vital to the global oil trade and commercial shipping. Iran’s closure of the Strait following the start of the war has pushed oil prices above $100 per barrel.

A US official told the Journal that both A-10s and Apache helicopters had been operating over the last few days to destroy Iran’s fast-attack vessels that have been harassing commercial shipping in the Strait.

The official noted that these aircraft have joined jets in the area that are also capable of striking at these watercraft, but that the addition of the A-10s and the Apaches has intensified the US military effort there.

Forget the rhetorics of President Trump those are just him looking to palatable excuses. Here are the major reasons Trump is coming for Nigeria with the US Military:

1. Mineral Resources
Nigeria has always been trading freely with the United States where they have certain financial obligations in trade deals with Nigeria. But a military invasion will grant them access to Nigeria's vast mineral resources for free.

2. Regime Change
President Bola Tinubu in all considerations has shown he can play the game within and globally. Choosing more to mind his own business. While Nigeria is not unnecessarily confronting the Americans, we are not a puppet either and this does not sit well with the Trump administration. And with 2027 almost locked in for Tinubu, Trump is uneasy. They want a Stooge.

3. Dominating Africa
First it was South Africa, that didn't work. If Trump can crush Nigeria and get away with it, other African countries will easily and helplessly fall in line and sign up to whatever the Americans will propose.

4. Divide to Conquer
The Trump administration knows they can't succeed in United Nigeria. So the strategy is to fan divisive sentiments where a sizable portion of the Nigerian population will not only remain docile but may even aid the invaders.

Very funny, what people say, so what about me that didn’t connect any nepa wire to my house? Since the past 6years all my appliances runs on solar, my 3 phones has been working every fine wether charged or discharged.

And some people will say nepa is the best light, you can only praise Nepa because of the capacity. But you cannot the electricity generated from solar to that of NEPA, a solar generate 220/230 pure sine wave,? Pure means all through the generation, you are getting a standard voltage all through. Can NEPA give you a standard 220v in full for 24hrs without up and down .

What's in your factory that will amount to 350m to setup systems..... 200kva is about 160kwh, is this what you have to spend 350M for? We had Installed a carpentry factory that's runs on 10kw/h equipments, we can give you good deals on 200kva, but that 350m is too much except you are hyping it.... Going solar is affordable and better.
