When Jesus made that statement,He meant that the world would not know peace because of Him, that people will hate & persecute Christians.That u have accepted Jesus does not mean everybody will be your friend,rather they will seek u out with the sword,your world will know persecution,pain & sorrow because men will reject & despise u.

Born into a christian home,still declares for Jesus Christ. Always have,I still do & always will! In the words of WasA Sultan,a self-professed,but non-practising muslim,"The problem with christians is that they are not like Christ Jesus,but thank God most muslims are better than Mohammed". Seriously,are you asking? Of course,the old man is taking advantage of you. I don't think he deserves anything from you other than the help you rendered when he took ill. A man should not reap where he has not sown. Now,ask yourself,if you had turned out to be the one in need of his assistance-financially-would he have rendered any. If you give what he asks,how would he ever know he did wrong. I am sure you ran to him like a helpless child who is seeking daddy's face,that's why he thinks it is his right to get things from you in return for granting you audience & acknowledging you.

You may have to change your child's school every term. Talk it out with the teacher,but have this at the back of your mind,some children only wake up when they feel shame. Had I not failed,repeated a class in prim.sch. & felt as much shame as a child can feel seeing his colleagues leave him behind I would never have been good enough for any university. Today I thank God for my sense of shame.I stand tall! If encouragement does not work on a child,try shame!

You should have revealed his testimony so one can at least give reasonable advice. Since you say it's convincin,why not go ahead and marry him. As for me,if God wants me to marry someone,then He would have to reveal it to me too,not just the person.Happy marriage!
