If you people cannot open thread and discuss issues than insulting Yorubas unnecessarily here then I do support the MODS to shut this thread down. If not when the e-war eventually starts I will effectively be on their side because they did not first insult any Igbo here.

Every Igbo state should stop talking, go to your state and make sure that it works. Some governors are already attracting investments that runs into billions of dollars, creating enabling environment via capital infrastructures, etc. This is no regional system anymore. Go and develop your state. Enough said!

MOD please shut down this thread if it is about throwing jabs to the perceived enemies.

Be warned!!!

Now some of you are seeing what I saw. Let him keep the gibberish coming, I am watching the thread closely..

Ngwakwe:
@Abagworo,
It seems you have nothing positive to contribute on this pan Igbo thread than your usual antagonism.

Leave Akpabio and Amaechi supremacy out of this thread.

There is nothing effective lobbing can't do when it is directed to someone/party that shares your vision and has soft-spot for your ideologies and predicaments.

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast:
Didn't see the drainages or you want to feel good? What you call road in Oguta is what we call foot path in our rural areas. Can you place that Achina or Agulu road on the same table with that shambles you have in Oguta?

I am a photographer so I will do justice to it.. tongue

Enjoy other regions of the state with the same genuine development! I want to show you what development is about because you have lost touch with reality! You have always thought that ecumenical center and round-about are development! tongue

Abagworo:
Chino the roads are commendable but not as good as Oguta roads. The only difference is the paints which should have washed away by now and your pictures lack drainages.

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast:
Stop saying what you do not know, nobody least of myself is having sleepless night about a failed state as Imo state.

Yes, Anambra beats Imo state in all spheres of development. FACT

Anambra has the best road network east of the niger. FACT!

Owerre and greater part of Imo state has some of the worst roads in the East. FACT.

Owerre has been capital since 1976 but it has only brothels to its name and filled with old ikwerre type houses. FACT

Orlu is more or less abandoned as I have the pictures too.

Okigwe is a complete slum. FACT

Almost all the rural roads in Imo state are in horrible situation.

Imo state as a whole is hugely underdeveloped with poor or non existent infrastructures traversing the entire state.

Almost all the state and federal roads in Imo state are equally in a horrible condition. No federal presence. FACT!

This is the same state that its governor borrowed over 200billion within just 4yrs in office.

Abagworo:
Chino please stop giving yourself sleepless nights because of your own fellow Igbo State of Imo. Our development should be a thing of pride to you and not a thing of envy and hatred. All Nigerian States have the same problems but at varying degrees. Owerri is one of the finest and most modern city in Nigeria and God blessed it with good sandy soil which makes it pleasant to the eyes and attractive to the affluent.

If Anambra develops its a good thing for me and not a cause for envy. For example I keep recomending the Nnewi model for Igbos in general because I see it as successful. However government played little role in Nnewi and it happened in the 70s and early 80s after the civil war. It did not happen because Peter Obi became Governor or after division of old Anambra into two in 1991.

Awka has been a capital for 24 years and therefore not really that young. I am glad you boast of plans or ongoing constructions because you believe the future is bright and not that its already uhuru.

Anambra has its fair share of very disgusting roads right at the heart of cities like Onitsha and Awka as well as highways like Enugu/Onitsha. Stop spreading falsehood and face that reality.

CultureRe: Why Do Igbos Especially The Anambrans Marry From Their Tribe? by oneeast: 11:21pm On Feb 22, 2015
You have said the fact! But your name sound un-Anambran! cheesy

PoorUgly:
In fact let me answer the question;

Question: Why do Igbos Especially the Anambrarians(not Anambrans) marry from their tribe?

Answer 1: Our women fine die. And they have a tasty fashion sense.

Answer 2: No tribe can cook, ofe akwu, ofe egusi, ofe nsala, ofe oha, ofe onugbu, ona, ngwongwo, nkwobi, ugba, pass our women.

Answer 3: we want the maternal grandma of our children to live nearby for easy omugwo.

Answer 4: we want to speak Igbo well without annoying anyone.

Answer 5: we value marriage a lot, some tribes don't share our marriage views.

Answer 6: we go and solve scarcity of husband problem in another tribe who will come and solve for us.

Answer 7: in fact we are seriously obsessed with ourselves.

Answer 8: we want our values, virtues and ideologies to remain intact.

Answer 9: we are die hard hustlers, we don't want to introduce lazy blood into the bloodline.

Answer 10: our women knows how to take care of a man Wells (inside bedroom inclusive).

We no send you. if it vex you bang your head for wall.

leere!!!
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast:
Yes Donatus Awka is a city and it is more decently developed than Owerre that has only brothels as its pride. Awka is the fastest developing city east of the niger.

Orlu is more or less like Ekwulobia.

Nnewi by all standards is far more developed than Orlu. Okigwe is a complete slum settlement.

Owerre is filled with old ikwerre-type-house settlements, there is no meaningful thing in that town.

You people should reason like millionnairman because he appears very realistic with genuine intentions for imo state to find its bearing.

emmysoftyou:
What is there to compared, the most important thing is that, onitsha, nnewi and awka have existed before the creation of state thing..

Do yu call awka a city,it s the same with orlu and when yu talk of nnewi, that s my mother town, and it s not all nnewi that s city, bro, it s only nnewi north that s more urbanised than nnewi south, truth be told..

In regards to eket, uyo and ikot ekpene,i have been there and i ve stay there,
the governor of the state, godswil akpabio, only focus more development in uyo and little concerns in ikot ekpene, meanwhile eket is left abandon,
although, eket, uyo and ikot ekpene have been a city right from time,
orlu ,okigwe and owerri, are stil coming up..
There is nothing wrong if the governors decide to focus first on owerri before thinking on what to do with okigwe nd orlu,
which will certainly developed with time and pls stop the comparison cos each state with her own pace..
