Yes it is there! My agents advise,reach out to the dubious clearing agent,let him know you are aware of how he short changed you on the duty paid. And you are so taking this up with him unless he is willing to go through (assist in the process) with the package upgrade which you are willing to pay for.

Reason is the releasing officer knew the duty wasn't paid completely before releasing the car to your agent. If will be a tough task for a new agent to walk to the releasing officer to ask for a package upgrade.

If this doesn't work,kindly revert back.

Please is there away of knowing the releasing officer name from any of the custom documents. There is one officer name on one of the papers

How can I correct this? Because custom issue is not what one should pray to encounter on interstate journey.

As for the agent I have hand him over to God to judge.

The car is already in Benin from lagos but have to settle customer crazy demands at Ore and Benin. I dont want this trend to continue whenever am doing interstate movement.

Secondly what is the surface duty for 2013 camry. And how can i rectify the shortfall in payment, though the agent that cleared it rip me off almost 1.5m collected yet custom issues

your best bet is to get your car duly cleared.
Endless bribe payments at customs checkpoints is not the best.

For a 2013 car the disturbance will b much and custom demands are crazy on the road. Please what r the likely chances of setting this once and for all. Thanks will appreciate possible feedback

Well, there is a lot of happens in clearing if you are not willing to pay for a better service for your vehicle clearing, going for a lower rate or your agent undergo an illegal services during the clearing.

Once it's detected it will be taken to enforcement for adequate process and a service charge will be awarded as penalty for it.

Moreso, It depends on your transaction with your agent, May fell victim because of price negotiation power and the agent that offer to clear at your low price will give a trial, Sometimes it works or backfires

Enforcement is real, for illegal services.

2012 camry: #1.2m
2013 Camry: #1.5m
2014 Camry: #2.1m

But Valuation maybe collected lower, that's what is called compromised.
