Most African countries have made major strides in thevpast 10yrs, especially in terms of infrastructure.

The frequency of coups has also drastically reduced. I mean, Imagine Pres Buhari pulling that disappearing act in the days of Sunny Abacha & co. Most African governments can focus on development.

The availability of more finances from China is also giving governments more loans than the World bank and the West used to avail, besides being an alternative trade partner with less restrictions and demands and uncertainty that accompanied world bank related projects and fund.

i spoke to some Africans that came with me first year in university and they already knew that Africa will not change

but me i wasnt sure and still being hopeful and worried till today

me i am just slow in learning or not that bright

i don't get too many comments

i am beginning to think most Nigerians are proud to be Nigerian and that stuff about Africa is a hel-l hole is exaggerated

Nobody hates igbos, among all the tribes in Nigeria; the igbos travel the most and marry other tribes alot (but if you no kno u no go kno) and they tend to establish and engage in business, build their houses where ever they go, live peacefully and contribute to their immediate environment effectively..There is no state in Nigeria where u will not find upto or more than 50,000 igbos, there are igbos even in the deeaded borno state sef. Alot of igbos are born outside the east and grow up almost everywhere in Nigeria and while growing up they make friends with non igbos. I have see about five igbbos married to northerners, they marry yorubas and almost every other tribe in nigeria; so with family links and friendship wetin wan cos hatred .
Secondly op seeing you opened your Nl account as far back as 2009; I can tell you are matured, and am really surprised that at your age you dont know that any citizen who pays his/her tax contributes to the economy; its very shameful and silly for a grownup like u to spit such stupid utterances by saying IS IT BECAUSE THEY DONT CONTRIBUTE TO THE ECONOMY..Chai ur matter tire me; it seems tribalism don chop more than half of your brain. If you dont know; the igbos are likely the tribe with the highest taxpayers due to thier numerous business enterprises all over the country. They contribute a massive chunk to our economy more than you know; as they have alot of igbos who travel abroad, engage mostly in illegal stuffs like drug peddling (e no good o) and some or most of the money gotten from those illegal ventures are mostly sent to Nigeria thereby adding to our economy one way or the other. Plus alot of igbos in Nigera export and import products, all over the world.
