True talk my brother Teemenzo: Seriously, many folks here are not doing well at all.
You get PPR and you go silent on us. You can do better.
I have seen about three or four pprs today and yet just two people are here to share theirs. We can do better people. Don't just come here with your problems, come with your good news too. |

Hello Dukealara, Congrats to you really appreciate your resilience. May the land favor you. First question: In your case what was considered as a lump sum in your application. Secondly, why did you switch from self sponsor to spouse sponsor. Was about the earnings. Any other reason, please educate us Congrats once again. Dukealara: PPR!! Finally!
It landed yesterday and the day just ran so fast. I was encouraged to apply myself from this platform and I am glad it ended in praise.
Timeline
Glorrryy!!!Surely there’s an end and my expectation shall not be cut off. Proverbs 23:18 Because I delighted myself in the Lord, He has given me the desires of my heart. Psalms 37:4
First Application Submitted- April 25, 2021 Biometric- April 28, 2021 Eligibility started- May 8, 2021 Requested for gcms- May 17, 2021 Medicals- May 18, 2021 Sent mail to Immigration Minister- May 25, 2021 after an MP advised. Refused- June 3, 2021(one reason, personal asset and financial status).
I remembered I just finished a three days fasting from our regular morning prayers,Next Level Prayers. Imagine a rejection mail after praying and fasting. I was devastated.♀️
Received my gcms note- June 17, 2021 stating the refusal reason which was primarily noted lump sum without explanation to the source of funds. It took me 3 to 4 months to re-apply because I was willing to put in all my best.
Second Application Submitted- October 6, 2021 Medical updated- October 13, 2021 Eligibility started- January 4, 2021 Passport Request- February 14, 2022
I also got a mail also from Abuja because I finished them with mails last week.
What I did differently -I changed from a two year program to one year program, same course but different school. Explained why I changed from two years to one year because I don’t want to be away from my kids for so long. -I changed sponsor from self-sponsor to spouse-sponsor. -Paid first semester school fee. -Added more personal asset for myself and my spouse both as couple and as individual. -Re-wrote my LOE to address all the concerns noted in my gcms note. -Added few online courses certificate that aligned with the intended program. -I asked a lot of questions when in doubt. -I sent my documents to few people on this journey to review before submission.
I just want to return all glory back to God almighty, the finisher of my faith and my anchor through the waiting. He said it and he brought it to pass. Thank you to my MVPs that kept encouraging me and listening to all my complaints and ranting. You are amazing and I intend to keep our friendship❤️❤️.
I want to encourage everyone still waiting to keep holding on and keep giving thanks. The wait will be over soon and your mouth will be filled with thanksgiving. |

Ms Loolah, Its good to get professional advice from Canada. I am telling you from experience. Its God that gave u PPR not your credentials cos nobody's credential is perfect. There is always some imperfection in credentials or application but God perfects it for us. MsLoolah: Yes I figured no one has a definite response for me other than asking me to spend 2.7m on an education I wouldn’t be able to transfer or use in the future based on fear I might not get the visa. I didn’t get the first visa based on luck, I got it based on my credentials so honestly I don’t see a reason why I shouldn’t get it again.
I would definitely update on the decision I make and the outcome for people who are in my predicament in the future.
Thank you |

Hello WESTERCR, can you share your cousin's timeline so we can learn from it. As it is you are only one that is benefiting from her timeline and she wants benefit from the info in here. Life is give and take bro or sis WESTERNCR: Good day my people. My cousin just got her PPR yesterday. I want to know what are the steps to be taken in order to send her passport to and from VFS? Which one is faster Lagos or Abuja? and how do we pay the transmission fee to VFS, what's the amount? Thank you. |

At this stage you need professional advice which you need to pay for, I would suggest you for this advice within Canada. You don't want to lose both ways. Pls take this advice seriously, I have been in similar circumstance
[1quote author=MsLoolah post=110030151]Thank you for responding.
I know it’s a tight call, that’s why I am checking all possible route before taking this step.
My options are to either attend and pay for a semester at a school I don’t want to go to and waste 2 million naira, then my husband applies for a SOWP, reapply without attaching my husband, after being granted he would then apply for sowp or add him to my new application.
At this point, I am at a cross road.[/quote] |

Thank you my brother, to be frank with you its God that gives PPR. If you waste it and God decide to withhold next it you have yourself to blame. I lived with a Shell staff in the past that got US visa easily but a year or so he was denied and he was still working in the same place. So bro, state a proper timeline and get help! buchito1: Guy better just go for that school and course, to avoid unnecessary stress and regrets!
PPR people are crying and begging God to get, you have yours and want to waste it.
If you have the money, and you still want to be here when Tinubu comes, you can reapply and start the process again bro.
Anyways, good luck in any path you take bro |

When will your permit expire? If its after sept 2022. Then ask for school for another LOA for same course. Permit is not a walk in the park, so bro be wise. khennyg: I got admitted around april/may last year last year. I started my application immediately so i was told to do my biometrics in july. After that. I submitted around the late july 2021. I didn't hear from them for like 5 months not knowing that they already mail me but their message didn't enter my inbox, it entered 'bin' and bin will automatically delete itself by 30days. And i didn't check my portal too. So i decided to check my portal on jare 2nd 2022. Then i saw their message to go for medical and submit my passport. I immediately booked an emergency appointment at IOM ikeja. In 3 days they said i passed the medical. Also am passport is already for collection. But the school (Mount saint vincent University) NS has withdrawn my admission after paying a semester school fees. 6000CAD. My cousin stays in Alberta. I have seen a sch and i wanna apply there. But i want to be sure if i can move after entering from nova scotia to alberta |

Do the needful before you get a response khennyg: It was actually an agent that helped me. But i don't like the sch.. its expensive and i used my acceptance letter to process my visa. I also paid first semester school fees. But there is this school i saw last week. Macewan University..i like the sch and the course i want to study there is not expensive. It is also closer to my cousin.. what do you think |
