According to eyewitness Igbinedion Sammy, this happened this morning at 22 road, Festac, Lagos. The robber (pictured) robbed a motorist, immediately got on his bike and zoomed off. The victim gave him a chase with his car and was successfully able to knock him down.

The shocked thief had a deep bloody cut on his head and when he noticed a crowd gathering, he pleaded for people to call police in order to avoid jungle justice.

Chinenye woke up at about 6am to boil water. She turned on the gas and struck the matches, it didn’t come on. Then she did it again, and the explosion that changed her life happened.

The fire threw her against the door, and then blocked her exit. According to her, she didn’t know the force that got her on her feet. She entered the fire and rushed out of the kitchen to the room, the fire chased her out, the rug.

Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesman, Olisa Metuh is now on admission at the Lagos University Hospital (LUTH), Lagos two weeks after he left the National Hospital, Abuja where he was once on bed rest.
His lawyer, Emeka Etiaba (SAN) disclosed this Friday at the resumption of proceedings in Metuh’s trial before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Etiaba, who tendered a letter dated June 8, 2016 to support his position, said Metuh opted for LUTH after following his failure to secure the court’s nod to seek medical care abroad as was recommended by the National Hospital.
The letter from LUTH, signed for Consultant Neurosurgeon by Dr. Olufemi Bankole, said Metuh was under observation and management by the hospital and would need to be confined to bed rest for some time.

Dozens of the victims of Boko Haram insurgency in Hadejia, Jigawa, have resorted to street begging in order to survive,

IDPs resort to street begging to survive in Jigawa

According to reports the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), including women and children, were seen roaming the streets, offices and market places in the area begging for alms.

Checks by sources showed that most of the IDPs were taking shelter in unoccupied stalls at Hadejia market due to lack of an approved camp in the area.

Some of the IDPs, who hitherto took refuge in Hadejia, had however, relocated to their homes due to improved security in Yobe and Borno.

An unknown man climbed an electrical pole at Adebisi Oguniyi Crecent Lekki Ikate Round About, this morning, saying he wanted to commit suicide. When persuaded to come down, he said he would only do that if he gets N5million. Policemen from Maroko Divisio arrived at the scene but didn't know how to bring him down...and later left.

Popular Nigerian artiste, Ketchup was reported to have been in a coma since yesterday in Dubai where he has travelled to shoot his music videos and also celebrate his birthday.

After celebrating his birthday on Sunday May 1st, 2016 aboard a yacht, there were reports on Tuesday May 3rd that the singer fell off a jet ski while out with friends on Monday. He was said to have lost consciousness immediately.

The artiste is due back in Nigeria next week according to one of his team members who confirmed that the singer has regained his consciousness.
