Now how can this person below who is now governor of Kaduna state fight Fulani herdsmen

That is exactly what played out in Enugu.

The military moved away for them to carry out their attacks on the people and when the young men group to deal with the fulani the military suddenly appeared and arrested all of them, taking them to zone 2.

There are instances where after the military had gone from house to house in the MB seizing the local rifles of the villagers with which they can even manage to engage the AK 47 wielding fulani herdsmen only for the herdsmen to attack after that.
That is what they did in Niger state too but paid for it dearly.

They attacked the village, killed 6 prople and burnt houses, the army was nowhere to be found. By the time these people organise to defend themselves, army will appear form no where to disarm them and someone wants me to feel sympathy for the dead soldiers simply because their dead bodies were displayed? No way.

Go to any higher institution in the SW and you will see first hand the growing level of radicalization among Yoruba Muslim students.

The problem may not have yet started showing on the streets but give it a couple of years and these radical elements will be in position to change Yoruba politics forever.

The likes of Amir Sanusi where instrumental in furthering the radical Islamic and pro northern movement in universities with their Muslim Student Society. Today those guys are in power and their Islamization agenda is on full swing.

Give Yoruba land at least 10 yrs from now and you will see religion playing a crucial role and determinant in yet heir local politics.
10 years is too far, we are already seeing it online, it will soon transfer to the streets if nothing is done about it.

Its just a political power play. Muslims do not make up to 30%in that state to be conservative. Ekiti and Ondo states have low Muslim population and, if a power play is talked into play by Muslim groups, they may never have a member in any government.
However, Yoruba don't play religious politics, its just a digression to create awareness's for their groups

Baawaa:
Nigeria has earned a total of N96.212trillion in 58years of crude oil sales.

Mr Jonathan's government earned N51trillion( more than half of our 58yrs earnings) in 5yrs!

Obasanjo and Yaradua , in 11yrs, earned a combined sum of N36trillion and saved $63billion in our foreign reserve.

Mr Jonathan depleted that reserve to $30billion after earning half of our 58yrs earning!

Tell me how do you describe this generalissimo of mindless corruption and earth shattering incompetence?

How do you ignore this fact while talking about the current state of the economy?

Anyone who says no to his past is living in denial and no good future awaits him.
Under Jonathan I was earning approximately 20k a month as a Youth corp member while people a year before me earned only N9000, where did the extra money come from?

Under Jonathan, minimum wage for federal workers was increased from 7000 to 18000, where did the extra money come from?

Under Jonathan the FG was paying billions of naira monthly to subsidize petroleum products whose prices kept rising as the price of crude oil rose. A subsidy he tried to remove but was vehemently resisted by the citizens.

Under Jonathan more than 20 power stations costing billions of dollars were completed and made operational. These included the ones Obasanjo left at less than 10 percent completion after 8 years.

Under Jonathan old and dilapidated railways were brought back to life (PH Enugu) and brand new standard guage ones (Abuja kaduna ) were also built. These cost billions of dollars to build.

Under Jonathan, perennial death traps like east west road and Benin Ore road were rebuilt, east west road alone included the construction of several bridges, these cost billions of dollars.

Under Jonthan, 9 new Federal universities were built, OBJ built none.

Under Jonathan some university lecturers began earning like oil company workers. This was done to end the incessant strikes. Where did the money come from?

Under Jonathan, billions of naira was injected into the amnesty program (initiated by Yaradua). This was done to ensure uninhibited flow of oil. The money came from somewhere.

Under Jonathan our military which had been deliberately abandoned since the time of IBB was revamped with billions of dollars to fight boko haram. That money came from somewhere

Politics / Ondo Elections: Yoruba Muslims Threaten Political Revolt by onnenka: 6:15pm On Aug 15, 2016
The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIS) in Ondo State Monday threatened a political revolt should any of the major political parties in the country fail to field a Muslim as Governorship or Deputy Governorship candidate in the forthcoming election in the state.

The Muslim organisation, which lamented the marginalisation of its members in the scheme of things, said it was high time it produced either the governor or deputy of the incumbent political offices in the state.

Alternative to their demand is a revolt by Muslims in the election fixed for November 26 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Chairman of NSCIS, Imam Habibullah Akinpelu at a press conference addressed at the NUJ Press Centre in Akure, the state capital, said Muslims would use their numerical strength to reject any political party that produces Christian-Christian ticket.

Akinpelu said with a population of 1.5 million and with over 500,000 voting members, they are ready to determine who will succeed the incumbent Dr Olusegun Mimiko as the next governor of the state.

His words: “Muslims today, more than any other group, are poised to give any political party who wishes to listen to this call our block vote. While we would continue our campaign for a Muslim governor in Ondo State with a renewed vigour, we will not compromise our present political height.

“We will dare any political party that will produce a Christian-Christian ticket. Any political party that fly anything less than a balanced ticket may regret its decision; we will aggressively mobilize the consolidated Muslim Ummah of Ondo State for the next election. Muslims in Ondo State are made bold to say that we will not accept anything less than a balanced ticket. We warn that any political arrangement short of balance ticket will be rejected.”
