what is lagging and what is leading:

In my opinion that classification of indicators does not really exist, as all indicators are dependent on past data I.e x bars behind the current data or bar. As long as an indicator is dependent on past data in my opinion it is neither leading nor lagging.
past performance has no effect on future performance.

I would say that price is the only leading indicator, but price it self takes about 30seconds before it gets to your terminal, if that is the case why then should one add another layer on an already lagging data such as indicator.

I am not saying indicators are bad, but one need to understand the flaws that come with believing that indicators can lead, to truly understand the nature of markets.

Just flow with price, go where it goes, if it is going up buy, if it is going down sell. surely you will need a way to measure whether price is up or down, that is where a reference comes in handy, the reference can be open, high, low, close, moving average, horizontal line etc anything that works for you. if price is above reference buy, if price is below reference sell. you also need a way to measure price momentum (order flow) in the now, above or below reference, to know when it is relatively safe to buy or sell. there are no guarantees in this business, no perfect system, there will always be losses. but one must try to keep losses small and let profit run.

I don't believe in seminars, I spent my money on a few here in Kano in 2009 (130,000 naira on seminars) for what I can say today was bad information (BS). people should try to find their way follow experienced traders on forexfactory. test extensively any system on demo before commit your money, you will get there some day.

Am sorry, the GBP spike is temporary for many reasons: Inflation rate is 2.9 percent, higher than 2 percent BOE target and pace of increase of wage growth. Two, the U.K new investment is declining, including housing prices. However, manufacturing and retail sales rose better than projected because of the weak exchange rate and a surge in tourist sales. price don't care about what you or me feels it should be in the future, it just goes where it want to go. Hence it is logical that one just follow price where it goes. for me fundamentals don't hold much value, I only try to know when this events will happen so I can stay away or be more careful. as a tick chart and m1 scalper

If Jesus fulfilled God's promise of a new covenant to us, how can you try to push this promise to the end of time? Of what essense is the New Covenant if the Old is still valid?

The New Covenant (or New Testament) is the promise that God makes with humanity that He will forgive sin and restore fellowship with those whose hearts are turned toward Him. Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant, and His death on the cross is the basis of the promise (Luke 22:20 ). The New Covenant was predicted in the Old testament by prophets Moses, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel.

The prophet Jeremiah predicted the New Covenant. “‘The day will come,’ says the Lord, ‘when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. . . . But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day,’ says the Lord. ‘I will put my law in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people’” ( Jeremiah 31:31 , 33). Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Law of Moses (Matthew 5:17 ) and to establish the New Covenant between God and His people. The Old Covenant was written in stone, but the New Covenant is written on our hearts. Entering the New Covenant is made possible only by faith in Christ, who shed His blood to take away the sins of the world ( John 1:29 ).

'I will put the law in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts.' does this mean the new covenant abolish the law?

Tithe is very important for any Christian it is not a must in my opinion, for the Lord said thereby put me to the test, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I.e one tenth
But whom to give the tithe to I see is the issue here, you can take to church, or you can take to those in need. why did I say those in need because Jesus is a high priest of the order of Melchizedek and Jesus Christ said what so ever you do to this people you do unto me

the Law will never end until the second coming of Christ, for this is what Christ himself said in Mathew, what Paul is trying teach us is that our total and complete submission to God not the law is what help us to fulfill or keep the law and ultimately achieve righteousness without which no one shall see the Lord.
our mortal flesh so powerful that only with help of the Holy Spirit from God can we fulfill or keep the law I.e defeat flesh.

(a) Paul was just restating what Christ said in Mathew where he said he came to fulfil the law, which I already told you that Christ was talking about his second coming.
(b) Paul is talking about what i stated in my first post, that believing (faith) in God (Christ) bore the Holy Spirit in you, which leads to the fulfilment of the law in you.
I understand the fear of many Christian about the law, it is I believe that the law requires perfection as stated by James in the book of James. the mercy and grace of God is sufficient for us all, but shall we continue to sin so that grace might abide, no God forbid. this is Paul's statement long after Christ has gone to heaven, sin only exist where there is law. this sims like a contradiction right, there is no contradiction your salvation is by faith but this is a process which I have already explained in my first post. read Gal. 15:13-16

one another. 14 For the whole Law
is fulfilled in one word, in the

Hence the Spirit of God in you through faith in God helps you overcome sin or flesh (fulfill the law).

The mistake most people make about the verse is the context.

What Jesus meant by not coming to abolish the law is that He has not come to oppose it or to stand in judgement of it. He only came to fulfil it. And yes, He did fulfil it. And remember that He said nothing will change about the Law until He fulfills it.

Now, Jesus Himself said He has come to fulfil the Law. He Himself said the Law would remain as it is until He had fulfilled it. Now, that you insist that the Law is still valid, are you trying to say that Jesus failed to fulfil it.

Jesus’ statement in Matthew 5:18 makes it even clearer that He did not come to destroy or nullify the law: “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Here, Jesus compared the continuance of the law to the permanence of heaven and earth. He is saying that God’s spiritual laws are immutable and indestructible. When He said till all is fulfilled He Christ was talking of His second coming end of all things.
In Matthew 5:18. Jesus here explains that until God’s plan to glorify humanity in His Kingdom is completely accomplished, that is, as long as there are still fleshly human beings, the physical codification of God’s law in Scripture is necessary and is as certain to endure as the continued existence of the universe.

the law is still valid, for Christ said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. The reason why I believe most Christians think the law died with Christ death is because of what I call the misinterpretation of Paul teaching where he said "we are justified by faith and not by law". This is what I believe Paul was saying when he said you are justified by faith
1. Faith in God draws you closer to God as it increase your love for God.
2. As your faith in God grows the Spirit of God is born in you by virtue of your steadfast love for God.
3. Sin dies and become alien to you when your love for God becomes grounded and strong. basically the law becomes fulfilled in you.
Remember Paul said shall we continue to sin so that grace will abide, he then said God forbid he said this long after Christ death so the law is still valid in a Christians life.
what encompass all laws is what Jesus said when he said love your neighbour as your self (though this also does not mean then end of law).
1. You shall have no other God before me.
if you Love God you will have know other but him

2. You shall not make any graven images.
if Love God you will make no image and bow to it as god to you

3. You shall not use the Lord's Name in vain.
if you Love God you will not use his name in vain

4. Remember to keep Sabbath day holy.
if you Love God you will keep his sabbath holy

5. Honour your father and mother.
if you Love your Parents you will honour them

6. You shall not commit murder.
if you Love your neighbour as your self you will not do this

7. You shall not commit adultery.
if you Love your neighbour as your self you will not sleep with his wife or her husband

8. You shall not steal.
if you Love your neighbour as your self you will not steal his property

9. You shall not bear false witness against your
neighbour.
if you Love your neighbour as your self you will not do this

10. You shall not covet
if you Love your neighbour as your self you will not do this
therefore the Spirit of God in you born of your grounded and deep rooted FAITH and LOVE for the Almighty God helps you fulfill the law.

In physics space and time relationship has been well researched by Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein etc. price and time relation can also be seen in same way, example if I am sitting and not moving in space, time is still moving, if I am moving in space, time is also moving, whether you are moving in space or not moving at all, time is moving. hence the rate of change of time is not related to the rate of change of space. space changes independent of time and time changes independent of space.
price and time has same relationship as described above for space and time.
But space and time have a relationship in physics.
the question is does this relationship exist for price and time

3. Open Interest
Open interest is the number of orders that
are still open and held by traders and investors.
These orders have not been closed out.
Open interest is also important, and can be read from weekly COT data released by CFTC, which can be found on their site.
Both open interest and volume data are good information for traders with long time horizon (daily, weekly) in forex.
note that I am trying to summarize a very complex but simple topic, try to do more research yourself to fully understand.
Price and Time in my opinion are more important, and understanding how they relate on chart is important.

Trading volume is the number of orders
being exchanged between buyers and sellers, and it
measures the activity of orders.
this we cannot accurately gauge on forex charts, as Forex does not have a central clearing house. I have read that fxcm provide good volume data, I know traders who use fxcm data in their trading. volume is very important, but as I said Forex is not centralized so it won't be very good. it can be used in stock trading though as stocks have central exchange. one can trade profitable without volume data.

forex charts are made built upon four (4) variables namely;
1. Price
2. Time
3. Open interest
4. Volume
one need to understand these variables and how they influence traders trading decision, to be able to build a good trading system, with or without the use of indicators.

with patience pulled out with minimal loss...predicting the markets isn't easy. even though the jpy economy is doing good but still partly struggling with other pairs.

I will say you should not try to predict the future, just follow the market where it goes. if it is going up buy, if it is going down sell. learn from the cheetah, it does not hope or predict. it just follows it prey until success.

discussion traders, what is is the 'highest' percentage sustainable profit per month. market non specific, could be currencies, indices, commodities, e.t.c.

Just take what the market offer, one cannot be specific, you as an individual trader cannot determine the outcome of your trades. so approach the market like a fisher man does fishing, take what you can get. It can be 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 possibly 100%, it all depends on the market. the point is can you stay rational, longer than the market can be irrational.

Fx can be traded mechanically, the problem with most systems is the fact that they are built on the premise that the market is continuous, while the market is a continuous fractal, for a system to be successful long term, it must take into account the fractal nature of the market. I don't use ea and I don't advice traders to use it.

Nobody supports budget padding, I am not in support too. But the process was designed the way it is for this very reason. Remember the executive themselves first padded the budget heavily, then started looking for whom to blame for that. So they are not saints when it comes to budget padding. so if they don't like what they see, simply return and discuss for peace to reign between the executive and legislative arm of Government. Simple

Its a simply to return it to the National Assembly, make your disagreement with what they passed known to them, then sit with the Legislatures to harmonize after which the legislature passes it into law. without creating media buzz on an issue as simple as this. Who told you any president gets what he sends to the National Assembly exactly as he sent it. take the US for example, Obama is always in a fight with the National Assembly during budget process too. He doesn't get what he send to them exactly all the time.
