When Stella Oduah budgeted N100 million for BMW cars above her budget limit which was not appropriated for, she was skinned alive by zoo media for good 4 weeks until she was sacked. But here is a govt paying for subsidy through NNPC in billions. Funds not appropriated for in both 2017/2018 budget but zoo media are nowhere to be found.

It is clear that some people in this wilderness call Nigeria are above the law.

My Brother, I have been saying this since last year, the double standard in Nigeria is a big problem. This Government has been paying subsidy without proper budgeting, using the NNPC as proxy for impunity and calling it operational cost of NNPC. the Nigerian newspapers turn the blind eye, suddenly the acclaimed investigative journalist in sahara reporters, The Nation etc. has lost their mojo. God help us.

Like I said before in another thread, the main issue is the landing cost, address this and the fuel crisis will disappear. instead telling Nigerians that it is sabotage, like the President said in His new year address to the Nation.

the root cause is the price of crude rising in the international market which has caused to rise in the landing cost of oil. it is either we pay subsidy or we let price of pms rise accordingly. the government is caught within a rock and a hard place.

their problem is that they played politics with this issue during GEJ's time, so there prefer to do it in secrete but it is too high now, they cannot hide it again. they have to decide what to do and communicate it properly to Nigerians. no lying and propaganda again please

Fuel crisis has nothing to do with sabotage. this government should address the root cause of the crisis and stop the blame game please. it will not help anyone

the statistics on the map posted by the OP is very wrong. the map of the North, drawn on that map is not 99% Muslim. this is the misinformation that is been banded around by the Muslim elites in the North. that statistics is somewhere between 50% - 66% not 99%.

I think it is the right move, this sachet water companies are making money with it, so it shouldn't hot them much, in my opinion this charge is a bit conservative, it should be higher for businesses and very low for private owners.

one need a way to measure momentum when trading either bounce of breakout

Again you must avoid using any moving average number on chart, the numbers used are very important for consistency example
moving average number must be number that represent time frames higher than the time frame you are using
m1 use 15, 30, 60, 120, 240, 1440 etc
m5 use 3, 6, 12, 24, 288 etc
m15 use 2, 4, 16, 96 etc
h1 use 4, 24, 120 etc

note markets are in sync hourly across all platforms, it is best to use moving average numbers that represent hourly charts on lower time frames example
m1 use 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, 1440 etc
m5 use 12, 24, 36, 48, 288 etc
m15 use 4, 8, 12, 16, 96 etc

note also that on H1 and H4 you can use daily chart number. this is not as efficient as the hourly charts numbers because platforms are not daily in sync, as different data provider operate in different time zone
example
h1 use 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 etc
h4 use 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 etc

basically a move below the shortest moving average is a sign of weakness in the trend. One need to research the average price deviation from the shortest moving average, and then use that pip deviation in exit and entry strategy.

If I am to trade higher time frame this is how i will trade it using three moving averages. just trying to give an idea of entry and exit strategy here. see image below

Trading systems can be categorized into;
System 1. Divergence from mean
System 2. Reversion towards mean

System 1 is any trading systems built on the premise of price moving away from mean (any reference) example Trend Following (trend line or moving average), Break outs, Donchian
channels, momentum, buy high sell low,
Accumulations, Fibonacci
extensions etc...

System 2 is trading system built on the premise of price moving towards mean (any reference) example Ranging, Channels, Bounce, Counter-trend, swing,
buy low sell high, Consolidations,
Fibonacci retracements etc...

For any trading system to be successful it must take both systems into account.
This is because when System 1 is working System 2 is failing vice versa. One must know this fact to be able to build a good mechanical system.

about my 8th system at the time in August 2012 when I was starting out, knowing what I know today, that was a sure losing system blew a $200 account with that system, just testing it live. it was a long journey to get where I am today. I did a lot of crap pursuit of colorful indicators, when I was starting out.

interesting cartoon, this shows that a traders cognitive bias can do him a lot of harm. the money is right in front of a trader but he needs to think out of the box to be able to take it. drop conventional knowledge and embrace an unconventional knowledge.

Guys help me out, if any trade that goes up must come down and vice versa, does that mean that one can trade without a loss with proper money management by waiting out a trade to reverse? Even if it takes months.

it depends on your lot size relative to your account size. can your lot size relative to account size withstand 10,000pips. if yes then it can be done. but one need to have a strategy around it because some times price can leave a level and not visit it in a long time.
