PoliticsUs Army To Strike Again: Donald Trump Threatened by Onuh2020(op): 1:48pm On Dec 30, 2025
In late December 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that American forces carried out airstrikes against Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL)-linked militants in northwest Nigeria. The operation, launched on Christmas Day, was aimed at extremist camps accused of violent attacks on civilians in the region.
The Washington Post +1
Trump framed the mission as retaliation against militants responsible for “viciously killing, primarily innocent Christians,” saying the strikes were “powerful and deadly” and warning that more action could follow if violence continued.

U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) confirmed that multiple militants were killed in strikes on targets in Sokoto State’s Bauni forest, with precision-guided munitions fired from drones and missiles launched from naval assets in the Gulf of Guinea. The operation was reportedly conducted with coordination and at the request of Nigerian authorities.
Reuters +1
Why the Strikes Happened
Trump’s decision comes after weeks of public warnings that the U.S. would act against groups he accused of allowing widespread violence against Christians in Nigeria. He had previously threatened to cut U.S. aid and even contemplate deeper military involvement if the Nigerian government did not curb what he described as religious persecution.
ABC7 Los Angeles
The strikes were positioned by the Trump administration as part of a broader campaign against Islamist extremist groups that include ISIS affiliates and Boko Haram elements, which have been active across northern Nigeria for more than a decade.
AP News

As it stands, news has spread that terrorist in Sokoto has allegedly left, and Trump along with the prime minister of Isreal, has promised again to step in, as Trump gives warning to terrorist, of the us army and air force intervention again.
PoliticsRe: Ex-US Mayor, Arnold Accuses Sultan Of Aiding Religious Violence by Onuh2020(m): 8:54am On Nov 04, 2025
Valid points. Sokoko used to be the safest state until the sultan that love money was enthroned. Arnold talked about resources exploitation and the billions they get every single day. The bandits were hired to protect their illicit and illegal mining business. Arnold maybe right or wrong about the Sultan but the surest is that someone is benefiting from the so called bandits activities. Nigeria government should stepup the game and take complete control over the mining business in the north west region of Nigeria and I assure the banditry shall cease.
PoliticsRe: Emir Of Rano Bans Church Activities In Homes by Onuh2020(m): 7:04pm On Feb 11, 2025
The Emir do not lock such powers and all Christians are advised to go about their normal Christian gathering. They targeting home cells or home Churches that have become a great source of unity among Christians. No gates of hell shall prevail against the Church of God in Northern Nigeria in Jesus Christ's name. The Lord is ever with His people. The. Love of God is deeper than any pit in any realms.
PoliticsRe: Akwa Ibom Policemen Assault Pregnant Woman Over Third Party Insurance by Onuh2020(m): 6:26am On Feb 09, 2025
Why should police enforced third party insurance?
Insurance policy should be voluntary,
A driver without insurance is simply saying I can handle anything on my own,
After all how many vehicles have you seen insurance company repaired because of third party insurance policy,
Government just want to make some people rich to later sponsor their 2027 elections.
Let insurance companies become responsible and people will willing subscribe to their whatever motor insurance policy.
You buy third party insurance policy just to support insurance companies

Moreover no Organisation both religious or circular would have been proud of your character. Consider your ways and be a worthy example

PoliticsRe: Nigeria, Benin, Niger, Togo Power Consumers Owe Discos N1.4tn by Onuh2020(m): 8:33pm On May 07, 2023
Nobody is owing them. People only pay for what they consider appropriate and fair. Imagine giving a household a bill of #30,000 /Month. Without maybe 100hrs light within the period. Sometimes the light is not even beneficial because of low current. They should no that they are selling and the buyers should also have a say. They simply estimate a bill and send it to people that they are owing. Since they refused to metered houses they should always bargain with consumers to arrive at a fair billing. Customers will pay if they consider what you are asking them to pay as fair.
They always harassed and bully their Customers. The customers buy their poles, wires, and Sometimes transformers. Maybe TCN should deal directly with the consumers by effective marketing and compulsory metering of every customer. GENCO has failed.

The Nigeria police should pay back the money to the federation account. If at all they seized the money from a suspect why didn't they deposit the money with the central bank of Nigeria? Why didn't they involved the efcc and dss for investigation? Police should be held responsible in this case. They know how Nigeria Naira should be kept

Open Letter To His Excellency Yahaya Bello The Executive Governor Of Kogi State by Onuh2020(m): 9:27pm On May 18
The Executive Governor
Kogi State, Nigeria.
May 18
,2022.

Your Excellency.

You may recall that in 2015 you visited Oganenigu in Dekina Local Government because of gruesome and incessant attacks by the Fulani Herders that displaced our people. We sincerely thank you for that,. Though there were many other attacks after your visitation but on a minimal scale.

Your Excellency Sir I am from that very community and a very good defender of your government and policies even the not very good ones. Well all these should be stories for other days.

That Road you followed is still in that condition. The Sons and Daughters of the community did what they could but I tell you it does not change anything because it is beyond them.

Let me tell you what prompted this missive. I was campaigning for you in CALABAR and a friend asked me what exactly has this your Governor done for you or your community? I was angry with him and I did my best to justify and listed many things that you did and he simply asked how about your 15miles community Road He promised many years ago? And I said the best is reserved for the last. Is a legacy project I said.

Your Excellency Sir, the Road will only take 4 months to reconstruct. And I said this to say it will indeed be a legacy project for your administration.
Your Excellency Sir I want you without delay award the Road from Etutekpe to Aloko to Ugbabo Oganenigu in Dekina Local Government Area.

Your Excellency Sir, whenever an administration is winding down legacy projects and policies are very important because they pave ways and serves as reference.

I am ending this letter now. I would have come personally but I will wait until I get invitation from your Excellency Sir.

I wish you well and success in your campaign for the office President.

I lov you.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Naira Vs GHANAIAN CEDI Strength by Onuh2020(m): 5:49pm On Jun 09, 2021
Nigeria economy is still better than Ghana. Before 2007 big businesses in Ghana could not keep their accounts and record because of the volume of figures. Imagine using like 200,000 cedi to buy a biscuit which is now equivalent of 20 cedi.
We need to improve in production activities. There are no rocket science solutions other than increasing production capacity deliberately. Nigeria has whatever to diversify the economy from Oil dependency to agriculture. If we use half of the energy we use in complaining and fighting our selves in production activities the sky will be a starting point. Let me stop.
God bless Nigeria.
