Politics › Re: Stop Sending Service Chiefs After Us - Bello Turji Warns Nigerian Government by onuman: 9:26pm On Sep 05, 2024
Bandits above the law in Nigeria.
Pity those southern Nigerians. Southerners don't understand that the Bandits and Boko haram and people of the 12 sharia states share common objective for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws. The day Bandits/Boko Haram overrun the entire Nigeria in a blitzkrieg, eyes go clear southerners in Nigeria.

LocalFARMERS:
We don't eat human meat in the North
But you have mass slaughter of human beings in the north.
Watch the slaughter of about 150 kidnapped people in Sokoto a few days ago by bandits, you wander why no premium on the sanctity of human lives up north.

No worries, Bill. At the present rate, Nigeria's population may go down by about 1/4 before 2027 through president Bola Tinubu's economic policies.

I know this will happen as Abure and cohorts weren't there.
Abure is now proving he's not to be trusted with power. Many including Peter Obi were behind him before but the Party wants to progress hence this Congress.
LP should overlook Him and his cronies and move forward with their resolution, kpata kpata they will opt for litigation and LP will still win
Obiora Ifoh acted the usual script written by anti-Labour Party progress people. Anyhow Obiora Ifoh wrote that [government business is not conducted the way the Umuahia Congress was done]. Ifoh didn't even know that Labour Party is not government, and not doing government business. Top leaders of a party shape the party as they deem fit. Gov Otti is a top leader of the Labour Party.

They sell the crude oil in advance - many years ahead and take loan to squander today.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Students Association Denies Planned Protest Against Fuel Price Hike by onuman: 4:18pm On Sep 04, 2024
Nigeria 🇳🇬 is one of the highest producers of crude oil in the world. But persons in political offices and some big businesses make ⛽️ petrol and diesel unaffordable to citizens of Nigeria.

These Yoruba people are now acting God. Why?
Ask them to fully declare Oduduwa Republic so that they will not have much with Igbo or Hsusa/Fulani, crude oil and gas deposits in the east will not allow them.

NNPC palava did not start with Tinubu government.

Olusegun Obasanjo's committee did not mince words in 2002 when its communique was that [Nigeria was not making any headway because the country's wealth were largely managed for a long time by people who hail from areas that are very far away from where the country's crude oil are located].
Buhari made himself Petroleum Minister while he was president and appointed his kinsmen to manage the oil industry. The problem of the oil industry became exacerbated since Buhari's presidency.

A military formation in normal countries protect the country from foreign invaders.
But Nigeria's military cannot fight off local Islamic terrorists due to the religious interests of sharia states of northern Nigeria.
Military in Nigeria thus carry out corpses of Nigerians killed by Islamic terrorists.

Wrong headline. Tinubu wanted a refinery 18 years ago, is not the same as Tinubu behind the establishment of Dangote refinery.

Politics › Re: FG To Remove Tax On Food Items, House Rents, Public Transports, Others by onuman: 4:04pm On Sep 03, 2024
Just sell crude oil in Naira to Dangote refinery to bring pump price of petrol to N300.
Taxation on those other items is normal in most countries of the world.

Sani Yerima, Metawalle's predecessor in Zamfara state introduced Sharia criminal justice system which ushered in Boko Haram which gave birth to banditry and kidnap for ransom in the far north. The difference between the leaders of the sharia states and Boko haram, bandits and kidnappers for ransome is like the difference between six and half-a-dozen.

Badly trained leaders use equally badly trained armed forces to clamp down on unarmed protesters.

But are the armed forces who confronted the protesters truly ZOMBIES? Don't they see how police deal with protesters in other countries?
Why would a soldier or policeman carry guns to confront unarmed civilians in protest?

One filled one's tanks while petrol attendants sat down and not even interested.
That was when true leaders were in charge of Nigeria.

When a country plays more politics than focus more on development, the latter will always elude her. Good news about Nigeria is scarce now.
Nigeria is known for ethno-religious political alliances to grab the apex political leadership of the country for the sake of control of proceeds from crude oil and gas in the Niger delta region.
The ethno-religious group which grabs the power focuses on betterment for its group. Other matters to better the entire country are not attended to.

Lol, this country sef. One week one trouble 🤣🤣

It's not funny oooo, we have witchcraft in the place of government because tell me why they refused to give us electricity and still made it hard for us to power our homes by ourselves.

Gas is now going to 1500 per liter.

Bandits and kidnappers are having a field day.

Police and efcc dey harass the citizens anyhow.

Nigerians are angry and we are bottling up our anger, but one day na one day, everybody go answer him papa name.
The day everyone in Nigeria begins to answer him papa name (divide Nigeria into more manageable countries), that day shall be the beginning of well-being for the two hundred million people bottled up in dysfunctional Nigeria. After more than 60 years of oil income to Nigeria, no electricity, no fuel to power private generators, what else is left before politicians man up and accept that Nigeria is not manageable and deserves to be split into more manageable countries??
