I like what the interviewer said, when people commit crimes the are associated with Nigeria, but once it's a success story the west will forget their Nigeria story

A classic example was the case of Michael Adebolaj who beheaded a Soldier in London, all the western media kept emphasizing on his Nigerian and Muslim origin, he was called Nigerian born British , or born in Britain of Nigerian descent.

Now, take a look at Anthony Joshua, BBC, CNN, Sky news, France 24 etc has all been labeling him "British Boxer" No mention of Nigeria

Same with Dele Alli of Tottenham, who is also called an English player, take this from me, any day Anthony Joshua or Dele Alli will commit a crime (not praying for that) , these Western media will change their intro to "Nigerian born, who was brought up in Britain" , the will suddenly remember that the are Nigerians.

Very shameless Hypocritcs. Especially BBC and all the Sky stations.
England does this more than most countries.

Can we see how clear Anthony Joshua's accent is, I know people who went to England for a study program, just a year duration. By the end of the program, the started having British accent , saying innit, lol.
People and forming, the worst are Nigerian Radio presenters/OAP (who don't even have International passport) , their own American/Australian/British accent n'a die

It's obvious that we can never fully master English language, and we'll be learners forever. Even in our native languages, we make lots of grammatical blunders without knowing it.

Well, we can make blunders in our native languages without raising eyebrows.....BUT..... just say/type "i is here" and the whole Nairaland would "carry your matter on-top head".....lol....

I ain't perfect and truly, i don't really have to be.....We're yet to even master/perfect our local languages; talk more of a borrowed one.....But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try our best though....

Honestly i have been through this a lot of times...i sometimes shout in it but not a word is heard in the real world...i would be calling someone walking in the real world in my room but the person would just walk past me...it scares the crap outta me and i hope i never experience it again

It happened to me many years ago[jss2 or so]....i was facing the ceiling...I just couldn't move a single muscle in my body so i just shouted "JESUS!!" ...next thing I knew, my body was free....BUT, the funny thing is, my brothers were in that same room but they didn't hear me shout.....weird...

BTW:: i no longer face the ceiling while sleeping.....as in NEVER!
