Viking007:Abi o. I have lost count on the number of times I have used the report button myself even though I know he could have saved us the stress by doing what's right. |
You guys keep making money from Nairaland but fail, in the simplest of task, to reinvest in it. How much will it cost Seun to upgrade every damn thing? 5-mili? Are you saying that Nairaland don't make twice that amount monthly? If you can't do it yourself, hire developers! Mark didn't sit so comfortable cashing out with old Facebook scripts for crying out loud. Neither did he beg people to do what he ought to do in the first place. |
People are quick to judge the United States but forget to mention that the first country to cross the red line was Iran after backing Shia militias to attack the United States consulate in Baghdad, and to make matters worse, the Supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, taunted the US by saying "...you can't do nothing". I believe Iran just misinterpreted United States unwillingness to use military force before now. |
Yankiss:Well, believe me, corruption, nepotism and trbalism will also eat so deep into the ministry; nothing good will come out of it. Corruption has eaten so deep into our system and I really do not want to sound pessimistic, I doubt if we are ever gonna get it right (tackling corruption) in this country. |
Toks2008:Thanks for reacting to these guys. I don't understand why they are blaming the OP for granting the girl's request to go out with her friend. The fact that they are/were dating means he should or should have block(ed) all her access to opposite sex? All these guys claiming woke in Nigeria sef? Nawa o... |
CosmicJames:IMHO, I think the girl would have accepted the date request whether OP gave his consent or not. Asking him was just a form of reversed psychology validation. She wanted to go on the date, reason why she considered the request in the first place. However, she prolly didn't want to create an atmosphere of mistrust, reason why she hypocritically ask him if she could go on the date. All in all, OP, I know it's not easy but trust me, it's better you move on now before you do more damage. Focus on your life and create a better future you'll be proud of. If you do this, believe me, the best amongst the girls will beg to be your wife later on. |
Simplyleo:Try and read the news content. |
alBHAGDADI:The same Bible you quoted says in Job 22:28 that: Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. |
Blindersoff:Stop misleading people with your oversabi attitude. It's obvious you know very little about what you claim to know. Educate yourself here https://www.quora.com/How-many-homes-can-one-gigawatt-in-energy-capacity-provide-for |

grandiose4ever:A one-off exclusive supplier of Samsung devices to a third party does not make the company a partner of Samsung Inc. The fact you provided shows that it was a contract between Convenant and Softcom, not Softcom and Samsung. How does supplying pre-installed devices to a university make Softcom a vendor of Samsung? Did you know that the founder of Softcom graduated from Convenant university in 2007? So, getting such a deal from an alumni isn't out of place. I stand on the fact that Softcom has never worked on a software development deal (which is what they are known for) with Samsung and/or FIFA. |
Lisaint:The Ikeja bus terminal was locked up for continued construction by the last administration after Ambode commissioned the project with just 60% of works done. It's even more terrifying if you consider the fact that Onikan stadium which he also commissioned prior to handling over was about 50% complete. Same thing was done with Oshodi interchange. These are few areas I feel Ambode messed up, although I feel he started some very strategic projects, that's quite commendable. What I like about Sanwo Olu is that he isn't abardoning these projects. I pass through Onikan almost everytime and I can say so much has been done. I went though Oshodi yesterday and realised construction hasn't stopped. And when I passed through computer village some weeks back I realised work hasn't stopped too. However, it's been awhile I visited Agege, I can't confirm if work is ongoing or not. But the information I have is that some weeks back, when Sanwo requested for the 200 billion loan, he charged the construction firm handling the project to return to work. I want to believe they have. |
InvertedHammer:In my opinion, I feel an SME that earns a profit after tax of about 2 billion naira per annum can conveniently spend 300 to 350 million naira on such trip since it's done once a year. This is also made possible since the money isn't shared among shareholders. |
IgboSomalia:I may be wrong, you can as well provide the source that confirms that they have worked for FIFA or Samsung, the only true fact up there is MTN. Don't fabricate falsehood in your bid to defend the company's spending power. |
Boringdraw1:Surest way, graduate with a first class and reach out to their HR. Ensure you are ready for Dragnet test though... |
