In my own opinion, these 3 presidentilal candidates should not attend. Let them leave Prof Utomi to wrestle it out with GEJ since it CANNOT BE FREE AND FAIR. Prof Utomi and REv Chris have ready questions for him since they are experts at public speaking
Politics › The BON Presidential Debate Of March 29th: Dara vs Ndok vs Utomi by opalu(op): 6:41am On Mar 19, 2011
Meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan has agreed to participate in the presidential debate being organised by the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON). In a statement yesterday, Niboro said Jonathan had accepted the invitation by the organisers who are doing it in collaboration with the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

The President explained that "After a thorough examination, a collective decision was taken to retain the body that had organised presidential debate since 1999 and has performed creditably well and so, no need to discard the platform and template for another."

The debate is slated for March 29 and will be broadcast live on the network service of the African Independent Television (AIT), Channels TV, Silverbird TV, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Radio Nigeria and other public and private broadcasting stations.

The statement said: "President Jonathan looks forward to seizing the opportunity of the debate to further present his case for the renewal of his mandate to Nigerian voters."

HOW WILL YOU TACKLE CORRUPTION WITHOUT CREATING SOCIAL UNREST IN THE COUNTRY
BUHARI - (ANSWER)
The bottom line of Nigerian politics is indiscipline and corruption, and from the constitution itself and down to all the financial
regulations. All the rules and regulations are there, it is a matter of implementation. I think the problem is that anybody will
take Nigerians for granted at their own risk.
You can't be head of a department, a chief executive and steal public funds and think you can control those below you.
Nigerians will not agree,
APPLAUSE
I promise to be accountable to Nigerians and I will make sure all all those people you voted from councillor to
the office of the president will be accountable.
And the public treasury is a trust and nobody can tamper with it and get away with it.

"We should not be carried away by mere eloquence. We are on ground here in Kano, the eloquence has not been translated into the development of our dear state"

"Right now Kano state legislooters are thinking of impeaching Malam Shekarau for the problems in kano. Doctors on strike, secondary school teachers on strike, CAS Kano and Kano state Polytechnic are also on strike. How could someone who could not manage the problems of a single state manage the problems of Nigeria"
Kadaria Ahmed was clearly a winner. She was easy on eyes, very intelligent, and a very good moderator. I expect great things from her.

We need more women in Nigeria like her to step up and run for political office.
IT IS EASIER TO BE A REFEREE THAN TO BE A FOOTBALLER

Gen Buhari, i love your personality, you got there early despite your age, you were calm, only spoke when asked to, didn't speak more than the time that was given to you, respected yourself and others, you're truly a man of discipline, i need to copy these characters and attributes from you. and i employ all Nigerians to copy these attributes, it's going to help us as individuals to build our nation collectively.

THIS GUY, U R NOT A THIEF, BUT U STOLE THE WORDS FROM MY HEART

PERFECT DISCRIPTION.
PERSONALITY- NOT ELOQUENCE.
WE ALL KNOW THAT BUHARI IS NOT A DEBATER LIKE THE FORMER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CALLED SHEKARAU.
WE VOTE PERSONALITY NOT ENGLISH

dude did u watch the debate atall with all these your ranting? cos if u did i bet u will be here shouting hey can u please see how silly i am.
did u miss theses part

moderator: but your children attends private schools
Buhari: yes so far i can afford it.anyone can do it once he/she can afford it

thats an answer coming from a president to be. plssssssssssssssssss think for one second before u show why God should be praised for giving that shallow brain
THERE IS NONE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WHOSE CHILDREN DO NOT STUDY IN PRIVATE SCHOOL.
SO IF U R LOOKING FOR A PUBLIC-SCHOOL KIDS PRESIDENT, I HAVE BAD NEWS FOR YOU. EVEN JOHN DARA'S KIDS ARE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS. SO IF BUHARI'S KIDS ATTENDED PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND HE ADMITTED IT BEFORE NIGERIANS, WHY LET HELL LOOSE?

IS HE NOT BETTER THAN JONATHAN WHO FORCED ALL CHILDREN (INCLUDING MY BABY) TO REMAIN AT HOME FOR A WHOLE MONTH WHILE HIS WERE IN AMERICAN SCHOOL IN ABJ? YET DENIED IT BEFORE THE WHOLE WORLD, LIESSS

Jonathan has started lobbying for another debate. His followers tell him he would have come out the best after all

So the NTA will be all out to host the next one. But other candidates may not honour that
