I sincerely dont understand nigerian doctors...some 5months ago i went to a hospital to complain about frequent urination,after blood and urine test i was told theres nothing wrong...few weeks after i still went to lay the complaint...though its my company's HMO,hepatitis test was mentioned,i never knew the test was never carriedout prolly because theres a limit to the cost that can be incurred for each treatment..it would have been better if the doctor told me to do the test with my personal money,but she kept saying theres nothing wrong...not on till today i decided to take hepatitis and discovered i am infected.only God knows the level of damage by now...imagine if i had known 5months ago,i would have managed it properly b4...i need to start treatment on monday....am in lagos where do i start from?

Aaawsssh, if you can go to a general hospital, that would be nice, but you have to "know people" to get good treatment, if it is a private hospital, note, not all private hospitals treat hepatitis.

I think you need to know your viral load, that would help here.

Did the doctor prescribe the livoline for you?? The type of drugs you should use should be dependent on your viral load, please do away with unnecessary use of drugs, it strains the liver.

Please, what type of hepatitis were you diagnosed of? If it was A or C, maintain a balanced diet, that would be OK, if it was B, please you need to go see a Doctor ASAP and a good one at that.

Most Nigerians can recite the cautions you stated above, it is no big deal, but it doesnt stop people from drinking and driving, it doesnt stop them from driving recklessly, we need to discipline ourselves, and as for the authorities, they need to mete out stiffer punishments to offenders.
