marenx: (smiling) Before giving me cane on my flat buttocks, mama peace, can you suggest any career our younger ones can claim from them in the faculty of science or social science?
I know many graduates of such courses that fitget and tire and move to Teachers Institute--after University? Really a pity! and you think those are the only affected courses?? Moreover, I haven't seen or heard anyone study biology as a course in a university in Nigeria ( I stand to be corrected), and to your first paragraph, can you explain further? |

The decision has its advantages, if jambites were told before now about this process, maybe it wouldn't have resulted in the public outcry, and also, the process of selection is not transparent. |

nochildsplay: Oga nobody hate the school abeg ..... We youth, especially those that want to fit in are giving them wings. I can still remember 2003 when I ssat for jamb last, with my 261 JAMB score, 54 Post ume I wasn't given admission in Public relation. My paddie with 197 was able to get admitted cos him papa fit pay to erase another candidtes name on the admission list that was 2003, not now when JAMB is partly in charge of the admission process, things have slightly changed. |

Education › Re: UNILAG Protests JAMB Cut-off Mark (photos) by opeaceo: 10:17am On Jul 22, 2015 |
markemordi: Yes jamb is changing school for some students with lower jamb score out of all the applied student for that course. Example if 5000 students got 200 and above and applied for medicine jamb will reduce the amount of student with lower 200 and above score and transfer them to other school with less population .that is the eligibility stuff When you try to explain this, they think you're "hating". |

They are at the wrong place at the right time, if the security men have seen enough, they'll send them out or better still, the SUG President addresses them, and the matter dies.

FrancisTony: Law has 5,000+ applicants. Business administration has 4,000+ and someone with 226 for business admin was told she's eligible.
Two people with 236 and 228 for finance was told ineligible and a lady with 214 was declared eligible. Biochemistry has 697 applicants, Microbiology 978 and someone with 219 for BCH was given ineligible while 220 for MCB was given eligible. My apologies for seeing things the other way round, I think you all should come together, write to jamb and the school demanding an explanation for the whole ish. "I follow una confuse" |

CuteMaryJ: It will be a peaceful protest and besides, the security officials also have their kids in the same mess. Most times, the security men don't like students protesting at the main gate, trust me, they'll do everything possible to disrupt it. Why not try the back gate And for the security officials, my dear, they'll find a way for their kids. |

FrancisTony: The most ridiculous is that a friend with 254 for LAW was told she's not eligible.
She is not an indigene. Thunder fire Dibu Ojerinde and Prof. Rahmon Bello! Easy dude, 254 for law is kinda low if you ask me. I just hope the protest works because the security men misbehave sometimes. |

Rose2014: One way to identify Yorubas on this forum
Once you see someone that opened a new moniker and they keep emphasizing he's from SS on each comment he makes : look no further; that's a yoruba right there. Why did u create a new moniker na? why can't u guys be proud of ur root for once? U think say na by add creek to ur username lmao
It doesnt need a smart person to pick out that u just created this moniker to claim SS
Bunch of sophisticated cowards How come anyone that doesn't support the Biafra charade is from other region asides the SS/SE region?? If everyone believes in the Biafra ideology, don't you think people can safely call them/us Zombies?? The Biafra thingy is for the SE and the SE only, please don't include the SS. |
