...Gives Serious Warning To Him The embattled Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has been barred from the State Secretariat of the party, but allows the admin Secretary to have access. A Chieftain of the Party, Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as Aeroland has written to the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and other leaders over the illegality of Dominic parading himself as the State Chairman of the party. Adewale presented his letter of appointment issued by the then National Chairman of the party and court judgement legalizing his Chairmanship to the police but Dominic has nothing to present at the meeting. Adewale met with Party faithfuls at the Secretariat of the party before meeting with the Lagos Police Command to encourage them on the need to come out enmass to ensure that the party's candidate wins the rerun that will take place in Ajeromi Ifelodun and Surulere. Adewale and Dominic met at the commissioner of Police office where the decision was taken, although Dominic was represented by one Barrister Williams at the meeting. The police in their effort to resolve the lingering crisis in the party have asked Adegbola Dominic to produce a letter from the National Chairman appointing him as the State Chairman of the party, but his representative failed to produced such. The National leadership of the party is yet to make any pronouncement concerning the crisis because of the delicacy of the matter. Adewale who has now taken charge of the party leadership in Lagos is relying on the letter of appointment he was issued in 2016 which would terminate in 2021 but Dominic was appointed for just three months after Adewale stepped aside on the advise of the party leadership, which the said appointment has expired since December in 2018, Legally and constitutionally Adegbola Dominic can no longer claim to be the Chairman of the party. According to Mr Adewale, he wants the party to judiciously follow the dictate of the party's constitutional provisions in electing or appointing another substantive Chairman of the party. Adewale said that it is shameful that Chief Bode George is still dragging leadership of the party, which he and his members have failed to use to lead any candidate to victory since 1999. He reacted to a petition sent to the police over his entrance to the State Secretary as laughable, that how can he break into his own office as the Chairman of the party. Party members across the State are drumming support for Adewale who they believed that is capable of reforming and making the party a winning party ahead of the 2023 election. |

Lagos PDP Crisis: Extension of Dominic Tenor, Fake And Laughable, Urges Public, Party Members To Disregard Him. Adewale The Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos Chapter, Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as (Aeroland) has called on party members to disregard the Jankara and fake purported extension of Dr. Adegbola Dominic's tenor as the Chairman, they are about to fraudulently deceive members with. It is on record that National Executive Committee (NEC), National Working Committee (NWC) and court has not taken any decision to upturn my reign as the State Chairman of the party. Adewale said that if National headquarters would extend Adegbola's tenor, such will be done openly in the full glare of the media and won't be in a secret and shady ways, stating that the respected NEC and NWC of the party will not be derailed or be complicity in the illegal activities of Chief Bode George in Lagos PDP. The National Executives and other stakeholders are aware that Chief Bode George is not wanted any longer by our party members as their leader, they understands the delicacy of the issues at hand, they will not want a situation where party members will revolt against them for taking a decision that will not go down well with members or against their progressive interest, urging the Deputy National Chairman (South West) Dr. Eddy Olafeso not to allow himself to be dragged in the mocky waters with Chief Bode George. Chief Bode George, the trader of PDP Lagos to the oppositions, is the one running from pillar to post in conjunction with his collaborators to obtain fake extension in order to continue his trading game of the party, alas, party members are tired of failure every four years due to his bad leadership and will not want to continue with him. As a law abiding responsible citizen and a Chairman who wants peace at all the time but won't condone ill treatment of members, have duly informed the party at the National level of the heinous and anti party activities of Chief Bode George and his puppet Chairman, Dominic Adegbola. Chief Bode George's tactics is always to use Security operatives to harass or implicate people who do not agree with him in his shady political business, all party members should know that, I have formally briefed the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and other relevant security agencies of the development in order to maintain impartial interference in this matter. I am once again directing all members of the public and party faithfuls not to have any dealings with Dr. Adegbola Dominic because he is no longer the Chairman of Lagos PDP. Bode George won't go without a fight because we are about to collapse, crumble, and cripple his political enterprise, this is to the advantage of our hard working, loyal party members and candidates, please don't despair, our collective efforts will surely defeat him and his collaborators, Adewale Concluded. |

Lagos – A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Otunba Segun has insisted that he is the Chairman of the party in the state. Adewale, popularly known as Aeroland, made the claim while speaking with newsmen in Lagos on Saturday. He claimed that Dr Adegbola Dominic was not the party’s Chairman in the state. According to News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports, Adewale was a factional Chairman of the party in the state during the national leadership tussle between former governor, Ahmed Makarfi and Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff in 2017. While Adewale aligned with the Sheriff faction, another factional chairman in the state, Mr Moshood Salvador aligned with the Makarfi group, some of the State Chairmen of PDP appointed by Sheriff are still operational in some states that has not conducted there own congresses, WAILERSNG.com gathered. The Supreme Court on July 12,2017 sacked Sheriff, affirming Makarfi as the national chairman. Following the judgement, the national leadership directed Adewale, who had been occupying the party secretariat to submit the key to Chief Bode George, an ally of Makarfi, and work with Salvador on a power sharing arrangement. Adewale agreed to the arrangement to have Salvador as Chairman of an executive including members from his(Adewale’s) own group. Salvador, as a sitting Chairman, dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress(APC) in 2018 after disagreements with George and other party leaders. His exit paved the way for the emergence of Dominic as the new chairman. Adewale told newsmen that he was now the “authentic Chairman”and not Dominic. He said Dominic could no longer lay claim to the seat as he was appointed to fill the vacuum left by Salvador for a period of three months. He said the three months given to Dominic had expired in December and that he (Adewale) was the automatic chairman as he only stepped aside for Salvador to allow peace in the party. Adewale claimed that the court judgement that sacked Sherrif as factional chairman, did not sack him as State chairman and that his tenure would only expire in 2021. Adewale said he had since taken over the state party secretariat at Shogunle and was working on some legal processes to ensure a firm grip on affairs of the party in the chapter. “I am the authentic PDP chairman in Lagos, I only stepped aside for Salvador after the national leadership of the party asked me to do so. “After two years of factional crisis, I obeyed the leadership of the party to allow peace to reign and that the party could make progress but the situation went from bad to worse under the control of Chief Bode George. “The judgement that sacked Sherrif did not sack me as Chairman and I was supposed to lead the party till 2021 before I stepped aside. . “When Salvador left for APC, I made attempts to step in to continue, but there were appeals from all corners that election was underway and that I should allow somebody from the George group to occupy the position in the interim, for a period of three months. “I agreed and remained on the sidelines and Dominic emerged. But now, his tenure expired in December while I still have my original mandate till 2021. “So he can no longer claim to be chairman. I am the chairman now. In fact, I have taken over the secretariat and I will not allow anybody to do anything there for now. “I am working on some legal steps to get things done and I do not want any violence or threats to peace around the secretariat .I don’t want anybody to call me names I don’t bear. “The only conditions I will shift position is for all groups in the party to agree on an elective congress as soon as possible or a court action stopping me from being chairman. Adewale, who contested the Lagos West Senatorial elections in 2015 under the party’s platform but lost allegedly by massive rigging to APC, said things had gone from bad to worse in Lagos PDP since he stepped aside. The party chieftain accused George of distabilising the party in the state through his actions and inactions. He alleged that George picked Dominic to step in after Salvador and that his nominee further factiionalised the party when he took over. Adewale said it was time to give the Lagos PDP the kind of leadership it deserved and that he was leading the party once again to put it on the path of progress. He concluded that there is no more 65:35 fractional system in Lagos PDP deliberately instituted by Bode George to keep using a divide and rule to continue the pillaging of the party's human and financial strength, he said he is back to unite Lagos PDP and give it the required leadership capable of winning elections in 2023. |
