Honestly , the amount they are asking for is quite exorbitant. I’ll definitely do it myself. Secondly , my passport is expiring in 8 months but I want to renew now because I want to use it for a travel application. I hope that would be possible.

30 years old , university of Lagos ( chemistry education ). 4 years experience as chemistry teacher. I wrote IELTS already L 9 - R 8 - S 8.5 W 7. I also speak French at intermediate level and have a certificate to show my competence. Single and no kids.

I did not know how vital the Listening Skill was until my test result came out and i converted to CLB for CANADA EE. Overall band score was 8 but Listening was 7.5.. CLB came to 8. when i simulated Listening to 8, just 8 o, CLB changed to CLB 9 which is 50 points in my CRS. I heard remark dont usually favour Listening.. 50points is much as well.. Any advice guys?

Sadly you will have to rewrite since it’s for Canada PR. Listening and reading never changes when remarked. Aim for 8 and above this time. Best of luck.

It is very difficult not to profile some countries. If I say everything I have seen Nigerians do people on here will think I am being too hard on Nigerians.

I have seen it in the UK and France and I see many of such people heading for Canada.

It is hard to separate Nigerians from scam. The attitude is terrible.

I mentor students from different parts of the word and the ones from Nigeria are the worst. Poor attitude, poor commitment and want to get things on the cheap.

Dealing with Nigerians is always a let down.

The rate is not fixed. It is a quote on how much CAD you can get from One Naira. As at today it is 0.0022168.

Meaning for me to get how much Naira I need to get one CAD, I will always divide 1 by the value quoted for that day.

So 1/0.0022168 = 451.10

So one CAD is = 451 at official rate conversion today.

French is the most relevant thing now on Canada Immigration and is likely to remain so for the next 5 years.

Good initiative but have to be on the lookout for some so called native French speakers over there who use pidginization. This phenomenon can affect your French.
So I would suggest you do this immersion, preferably with an Institute if that’s not what you have planned instead of depending on strangers you meet on the street. I’ve spent a couple of months over there. It’s a nice city!

I think have a document containing ONLY the long texts for the reading test (it is around 30 - 32 pages). I will check my PC in the evening, if you are interested in that, let me know and I will get back to you.
