I lived with my elder brother The day he proposed to his wife I gave myself 1 month to move out if his house Not that she was coming to live with him, just proposal
If your friend respects you, he won't even think of sleeping in the same house with your fiancee. Fiancee oo, not girlfriend.
That guy no rate you at all
He will quarrel with you that your fiancee hasn't cooked for him to eat, or washed his plate, or swept the house
I pity you bro That guy no be your friend |
Romance › Re: My Fiancée And My Best Friend by opicgif: 1:14pm On Oct 04, 2023 |
1) Your friend doesn't respect you 2) you don't have to live with your fiancee (especially when you are going to see her parents in one month)
3) Tell your friend he can't stay with you and your fiancee in the same house
4) tell your fiancee to go to her house, since it's close, NOT BECAUSE OF YOUR FRIEND. You will have the rest of your lives to live together
Anybody that makes a fuss about this, you know that person is not your friend |

JoeEeL: I am NOT an Igbo person but .....
1. 2. The man tends to visit supposedly indigenous Igbos of so-called south-south states who lack some clarity about their roots. 3. 4. The unity of Igbos is becoming a worry to larger non-Igbo ethnic groups within the south-south states. 5.
9. Nigeria is against Igbo unity.
11. 12. Cross-River seems a better ally to the Igbos in quest of Biafra than even other regions with more Igbo indigenousness like Rivers and Delta. 13. 14. 15. The coming of Biafra would open the eyes of many other smaller groups and ethnicities in Nigeria... including some of my hopelessly foolish Yorubas thinking a continuous Nigeria serves no detriment to us. . you are igbo! you support IPOB be proud of where you are from look at your no2. its the exact message IPOB spreads about ikwerre's, etche, opobo etc... "...... that they don't know their roots" who are you and how old are you to tell millions of people about their roots?? no4. the unity of igbos is not a worry to anybody. igbos and all other tribes live in peace, all over the world rather, IPOBs version of Biafra is a worry to other tribes in the south. no9. nobody is against any tribe. 12. cross river is not any ally to IPOB. neither is akwaibom. 15. alas, you call yoruba "foolish". Mr Man, you are IPOB!!!! |

Felixv: The reason why this forum has been around for a long time is because this is where we come to share our life experiences -I certainly know that because I have been a member for a long time.
We should tolerate disparate views -this shows that we have matured as a people. There are cons and pros to travelling abroad and considering the situation Nigeria is now I guess there are more pros -but is it guaranteed. What is the probability of success and how do we quantify success.
No one can give you that answer -people can only share their own opinions and the rest is up to the individual.
Nigeria So Tinubu went to the G20 summit and came back stating that he spoke to the Germans about bringing back VW to Nigeria -I read this and felt bad -and this is where I sympathize with people like you -our leaders have taken us for a ride and it seems they would not stop.
Now why would VW come to a country that cannot produce enough electricity for it's citizens when VW has so many other options. This alone should encourage me to advice people to leave Nigeria -but I have seen our people suffer miserably in some of the strangest countries and at the same time I have seen many Nigerians have a great life here also.
so make up your mind and come back here with your own life experiences. God bless you |

The way you people glorify abroad as if everything there is free You think Dey don’t have homeless or people who don’t have money to pay for medicine You think medical there is free ? TheGift: True.
I Don't discourage people from wanting to travel and explore opportunities. What I discourage is
1. Japa mentality- Japa means to run away, why is such a cowardly mindset. Many assume that they will stop facing challenges when they Japa their or that the challenges will be easier. But overcoming challenges begins with your mental and internal environment not your physical one.
2. Even if you must relocate, never totally uproot yourself. Don't sell your inheritance or all the stuff you sweated. Don't burn the bridges that where supporting or sustaining you. Have investments here that you can come back to or can even support you over there in that country where you will forever be a second or even third class citizen.
3. Instead of Japa, from Naija to another country, I prefer to be a global citizen. Make the kind of money and status that can allow me t travel to any country I wish anytime I want. And come back home whenever I want. and this is simple and sweet instead of lieing that abroad is harder than nigeria or like in the post i referenced, she implied 'abroad' will collect everything back from you cmon now, are you talking to imbeciles ? |

virginchaser: UPTH is not as bad as you presented it. It is an hospital I used severally before I changed over to save a life. One thing i know about their antenatal, priority is giving to women that registered with them during delivery than people that comes with emergency and when such person have complication or pass on. News says they lose him or her at UPTH.
Also, do you read news about health discrimination in Europe against blacks. Statistics shows black dies more than white, proportional to the ratio. hello i believe you are in port harcourt i will make out time with you, we will go to UPTH with a video and post back on this thread i promise you, in one day, any day you pick, in less than 1 hour, you will change your mind it doesn't matter whether you did antenatal in UPTH will that take away the rats that climb your body in SCBU ward and if you complain, they will tell you, you will get used to the rats my wife slept there for 2 weeks after 3 days, she will tell me baby today rat climbed my face, baby today rat entered my wrapper and we will laugh about it together People (including medical professionals) arent inherently bad that is why i didn't directly accuse any particular person, and thats why i said, when these doctors travel abroad, they act differently understand my point: there's no way a doctor will work 72 hours straight without getting edgy, acting rude and emotionless, with no time to waste, its not the fault of the professionals, its the system in which they are working |

pocohantas: Nigerians abroad do not have any problem with you relocating abroad, they just do not want you to come there and be a nuisance to them and the country. I have friends in the UK and they are seriously complaining of the recent japarians that come without adequate funds. So they want to live with you for long with no contribution. Forgetting that abroad doesn't support such dependency.
They only want you to know the other side. Something you prospective japarians hate to hear.
If you want to go abroad, go and apply na. Nobody is stopping you. imagine the elitist mindset whats different between you and a racist abroad, who doesn't want the monkeys from africa to come and constitute nuisance in their country so because you travelled, you are automatically better than everyone else at home |
