I'm not surprised by the majority of comments I see on this thread. Nigeria nay Africa has a fvcked up mentality, which is why a nation's parliament will be against a bill that will, hopefully, eradicate violence against women(their wives, sisters, daughters)

Moreover, the comment that women aren't participating is as a result of the fvcked up mentality I talked about. Is it not on Nairaland working class ladies are advised against buying a car even when they NEED it? When they subconsciously make ladies develop low self esteem?

Nevertheless, with increased awareness and most importantly, education, I see more women rising up to the challenge. 20 years ago, who would have thought that we would have female professors?
