focus7: How come Peter Obi did not exemplify the "working Nigeria" he now preaches by making Anambra work? How do some of you reason? Wisdom requires you to first look at what the man who promises to buy you a new dress is wearing himself.
Tinubu, Akpabio, Umahi, Peter Mbah, Oshiomhole, Soludo, and many past and present governors can point to tangible achievements in the states they governed. They have track records to support their claims—not Peter Obi, whose tenure was heavily criticized by many in Anambra.
If there's anything people are afraid of, it's that voters may be deceived by his rhetoric and hand him power, only for Nigeria to be taken backwards in development as it happened in Anambra.
We don't want a president who diverts money meant for infrastructure into his private business under the guise of "saving," while doctors goes on 13 months strike and salaries is not paid, that doesn't look like a working Nigeria.
We don't want a president who delivers substandard infrastructure, like the bridge in Anambra that reportedly collapsed while he was still governor.
We don't want a spineless president who walks away whenever things get tough—the same man who admitted he doesn't stay where there are problems and has moved from one party to another whenever challenges arise.
We don't want a president who says he would engage, consult, and negotiate with terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers instead of confronting them decisively. It is therefore unsurprising that insecurity was at highest during his time as governor. Kidnappers under his government built castles where they keep their victims, that Obiano had to start demolishing those castles.
Finally, we don't want a president who seeks advice from a madman and surrounds himself with lunatics.
Peter Obi should first go and make his family work first. His family doesn't look like a working one to me. Where wife stays apart and could not believe in you enough to join your struggle to become a president. And his son doesn't live a normal human life, he sleeps around with men like him and doesn't also believe in his father ambition to join him in the struggle. Peter Obi is the best governor in Nigeria - gov Adams oshiomole when he invited Obi to commission the reconstructed akpakpava road in 2012. Both were governors then Obi was in APGA, oshiomole was in the defunct ACN alongside Fashola. They were all governors, but oshiomole left fashola and called Obi the best governor in Nigeria as at that time. But u a poor citizen cant see his legacy 😂 Same man that built the biggest industrial layout in the whole of South East till today has no legacy😂 Same man that built the first university teaching hospital in the whole of Nigeria after UBTH built by ogbemudia in 1969 has no legacy😂 Same man that attracted over 40 local and international industries to the state has no legacy 😂 Same that renovated and expanded the Nnewi industrial layout (the second largest industrial layout in the whole of South East ) has no legacy 😂 Same man that built the first 10 lane roads in the whole of South East has no legacy. It is the audacity for u guys to come online and continue lying to yourselves in the name of tribe while the Tinubu u support steal your future away is really shameful. I am from Edo, oshiomole can not tell me to my face or any sincere Edo man that he was better than Obi as a governor NEVER |

Akpakomiza2: Why didn't he replicate that in Anambra Which land does Anambra have? Anambra is the second smallest state in terms of landmass after Lagos. Obi focused more on Industrializing the state. under him, more than 40 industries both local and international opened their branches in the state. And then SMEs. Since many of u always come here to claim ignorance when it comes to Obi, towards the end of his tenure, he started the vegetable export program that Obiano continue on, in 2015/2016, Anambra became the first state in Nigeria to export vegetables to Europes despite been the second smallest state in landmass in the country |

Politics › 2027 Wont Be About Tinubu Failure, It Is About Stopping Obi At All Costs by OredoPikin(op): 2:29am On Jul 07 |
The Nigerian political elite don’t fear Peter Obi. But they fear his plans.
Yes, that’s it.
They don’t fear Obi because he is also part of the elite class like them. What they fear is what he is preaching: A Working Nigeria.
A working Nigeria will never benefit them. Their entire playbook depends on keeping you in perpetual poverty and fear. Broke people are easier to buy during elections. Hungry people are easier to manipulate with rice and ₦5,000. Sick people who can’t afford hospitals will clap for any politician that shows up with a generator.
So when someone like Obi comes out and consciously preaches a Nigeria that works for everyone, they get threatened. They are threatened that you and I, the common man, will finally have a stake. They are threatened that they will become completely irrelevant.
And here’s the game plan for 2027: For the the political class, the 2027 election will not be about the incompetence of Tinubu and his government. It will be about stopping Obi.
The attack will be so coordinated you will think Obi is the current failure in power. They will frame him for everything.
You will start seeing tribal and religious bigotry pushed everywhere. Videos will surface. Fake quotes will trend. You will start seeing, "he hates this tribe", "he is against this religion", "he wants to divide Nigeria". They will amplify things like "he is demarketing Nigeria".
A lot of your favourites will be bought over to preach against him. Actors, musicians, religious leaders, influencers, "activists". Watch how many of them will suddenly have hot takes and long threads against him on TV and social media.
All to divide you and I so we don’t vote together.
Watch for it as we approach 2027. The attacks will increase.
You will see coordinated media reports. People will be sent to TV stations and radio to attack him daily. You will see funny newspaper headlines and sponsored "analysis" everywhere. All of it is just to deceive you and stop you from voting, so they can keep you in forever bondage and maintain the current Nigeria where less than 1% benefit from everything.
The political class are atracking Obi, you that he is fighting for is ignorantly joining them in attacking him. I pray we all receive sense in our brains.
We will be here.

But the moment Arabambi threatens a libel suit seeking the same amount, he suddenly becomes "hungry." Politics › Peter Obi Best Governor In Nigeria - Oshiomole In 2012 by OredoPikin(op): 9:21am On Jul 04 |
Yes, you read that headline correctly and i am a living witness to it.
In 2012, when Adams Oshiomhole was seeking re-election as Governor of my state Edo, he invited Peter Obi, who was also a sitting Governor then, to commission the reconstructed Akpakpava Road.
At that ceremony, Oshiomhole boldly declared Peter Obi as the best Governor in Nigeria at the time.
Mind you, they were not in the same party. Obi was in APGA. Oshiomhole was in the defunct ACN, the same party as Fashola of Lagos and Fayemi of Ekiti, etc.
Obi was at the tail end of his administration when Oshiomhole made that declaration.
So it is funny that today, the same Oshiomhole has been going around lying and attacking the same man he once told every one of us was better than all the other governors including himself and those in his party as at then.
Politics and greed really exposes people.
Incase oshiomole have forgotten, many of us that followed him then have not forgotten. |

Politics › Re: Pro-Tinubu Group Holds 'Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria' Rally In FCT (Pictures) by OredoPikin: 5:29pm On Jul 03 |
CharlesCNG: This is exactly the problem with Obidients.
Every day, they tell themselves that Nigerians have totally rejected APC. They say Tinubu has no support. They say nobody will attend any pro-Tinubu event. They say APC is finished. They say the masses are waiting to revolt.
Then the moment a pro-Tinubu rally holds and ordinary people show up, they suddenly remember “stipends.”
That is their usual escape route.
If nobody comes out, they say APC is finished.
If people come out, they say they were paid.
The lesson Obidients should learn from APC is simple: elections are not won by social-media noise alone. Elections are won by structure, mobilisation, grassroots presence, voter awareness, local leaders, women groups, youth groups, polling-unit agents, community engagement and constant physical contact with voters.
While APC support groups are entering Lugbe, Kuje, markets, communities and area councils, many Obidients are still on Nairaland and X calling everybody hungry, foolish and deceived.
Then on election day, they will be shocked that the same people they insulted did not vote with them.
Politics is not only grammar.
Politics is mobilisation.
If you believe Nigerians have rejected APC, go and organise your own rally. Go and mobilise your own women. Go and gather your own youths. Go and engage communities. Go and register voters. Go and protect polling units.
But do not sit online insulting people who are doing grassroots work, then cry later that the election was stolen.
The truth is painful: APC understands ground game better than Obidients.
Obidients understand online outrage better than APC.
Unfortunately for them, INEC does not count insults.
INEC counts votes. 🤣🤣🤣 Go and do research on YEAA (youth earnestly asked for Abacha) rally. It was a 2million man march for Abacha. I rest my case |

I have said it before, women don't stay where they're not benefiting anything from. As a man, after making this money, don't upgrade any woman! Leave her in that face me I face you house and look for a girl with sense from a rich family and marry.

You wanna criticize Papa Adeboye regarding Jonathan and your only reference is 2014. Did Nigeria started in 2014?
Was it not this same Papa Adeboye that personally adopted Jonathan for Nigerians in 2011? Even allowing Jonathan to use the RCCG alter to speak to Nigerians? If you had no problem with Pa Adeboye supporting Jonathan im 2011, then why you having a problem with Pa Adeboye withdrawing his support for Jona in 2014?
Tinubu was now 3years and few months on the throne. Was it Jonathan first 3 years Baba Adeboye spoke out?
Again, Was it only SW that protested in 2014? Why the only emphasis on SW? We surely knows the answer, so you can keep fetching water inside basket!
Infact, despite all the support from the west in 2011 for Jonathan, it was all nothing for the west except hatred… The same eastern people that are showing hatred today, were the same people showing us hatred under Jonathan..
