Romance / How To Help Saggy Breasts Look Firm (ladies Corner) by Orgasmgush(f): 12:07pm On Oct 18, 2016
We all have our insecurities and for some women, the shape of our breasts is one of them. While appearance is a large part of that desire for ‘perfect’ breasts, in reality your concern should be for something much more important – your health. Sag can occur for natural reasons or lifestyle choices but there are things you can do to combat the sag and promote breast health regardless of the cause.

Why do breasts sag?

Our breasts are not muscle. They are made up of fatty tissues and glands that produce milk. All of this is covered with skin that is naturally elastic due to the presence of the protein elastin.

Things like smoking and dramatic weight gain or loss (such as during pregnancy) are what experts cite as the reason for breast sag.

Smoking destroys the elastin protein and causes skin to lose its elasticity. This causes the skin around and on the breasts to become loose and sag instead of clutching the tissue.

When it comes to weight loss, 50 pounds gained or lost will have an effect on your breasts and can cause them to sag.

So what can you do to keep your breasts firm?

For one, you can aim to maintain your weight. As mentioned earlier, if you keep your weight at a healthy, consistent level your breasts will stay stronger and more firm. Drastic weight gain and weight loss will cause the breasts to sag
You can also keep your breasts firm by drinking water. You hear over and over again that water is good for your internals. It’s also great for your skin. According to the University of Wisconsin, if you do not drink enough water, your skin will age quicker. This will cause your breasts to sag. Always drink a liter of pure water upon getting up in the morning. Add a pinch of sea salt and lemon for further benefits.

Another way to maintain breast health and prevent sag is to get proper nutrition. According to iDIVA, foods rich in sulfur-bearing protein, hemp seeds, eggs and vitamin C are just a few things you can eat to promote breast health.

Exercise will also keep your breasts firm. If you need to lose some weight, be sure to keep your diet nutritious for not only breast health, but full body health. Avoid fried foods that can age connective tissue, just like you would avoid smoking.

Aloe vera is another good way to keep your breasts firm. According to In Life Healthcare, all you have to do is massage your breasts with aloe vera gel, leave it on for ten minutes, and then wash. Do this 4 to 5 times a week and the aloe will naturally strengthen your skin. You can also massage your breasts with coconut oil or cacao butter 2 to 3 times a week.

You can also use a breast mask. PositiveMed has an incredible list of breast masks that you can apply to firm up your breasts. Here is one we adapted.

What you Need:
One tablespoon plain organic yogurt (vegans can use a tablespoon of coconut kefir)
One organic egg (vegans use one teaspoon of spirulina and coconut oil)
One tablespoon vitamin E oil (organic olive oil is also good)
Blend everything together and massage evenly onto your breasts. Cover with an old shirt and leave on for 20 to 25 minutes. Then rinse off.

There are plenty more tips out there for keeping your breasts healthy and firm.

Nairaland / General / But Why? Why Guys Are Scared Of Settling Down, Recession? by Orgasmgush(f): 7:14am On Sep 09, 2016
In the land of so many resources, there is still wants and needs, the future lies in the hands of a man.. ...his name......, guys forget merlin, he can't save Nigeria, I look around and i see families and I wonder, how do they do it? Some people do not have much, you know, let's say average income earners yet they seem to look good. They are doing fine, kids attend a good school. Fine, i agree that there are different levels of financial situations in every given society. No arguments. Now listen to this ; we were having a discussion in a chat on palmchat, a heated one at that, in fact, it was more of a debate. Here's the topic of discussion : A guy earning a monthly income or like six figures, (more like middle six not high six) should be ready to settle down. Naturally i supported that topic. With middle six figure, you can start a family but my partner who happened to be a guy was totally against it which made me ask if he was scared of marriage. So, the question of the day: Is a guy who earns like around #300k good enough, financially, to settle down? Is the income enough to sustain a family? Or do you think it's too small Your comments please......................
Nairaland / General / Nairalanders, How Are You Coping With This Recession Cos It's Scary by Orgasmgush(f): 7:04am On Sep 09, 2016
I was talking with friends on our late night chat on palmchat and most are not in the lively mode they use to be. Many can't believe it would be this hard.
In these difficult times, economic recession, companies are retrenching, organizations are firing, left, right, front, back, up and down, anywhere you look you see the high rate of unemployment and it's effects.
Just think about it, because of the increase in unemployment and sky rocketing price of foodstuffs lots of people go 001,010 or 100 on a daily basis just to keep alive. When was the last time i heard "like am satisfied eating exactly what i want"? Now to the main point of this story, with all these stated facts, i know you must have done something to make things easier, what did you do? Self employment? How are you coping? When did you start? What exactly are you into? Is it a choice you would have made even if you had a good job? I really need your opinion on this topic. Please feel free to share your opinion(s)...

Romance / Big Reason Why Nigerian Men Refuse To Get Married, Funny But True by Orgasmgush(f): 10:06am On Sep 05, 2016
I was normally checking what's trending on palmchat and I saw a lady who is technically angry cos her man refuse to propose, she wrote this lengthy reason, maybe that's why my guy hasn't proposed too
When it comes to romance, Nigerian men are known to be actively engaging. Apart from their culture of carrying the financial burden of relationship with women, they harness every opportunity to appeal to their lovers, be it on social-network sites, in their respective offices, religious organizations, gym centers, parks, clubs among others. Despite the many romantic attributes that could be said of men in Nigeria, women still hold a contrary account about them. Predominant among the contrary views women hold against men here is that no matter how romantic they are, getting them to the altar for marriage could be very challenging. So, what are those factors that scare Nigerian men away from marriage? We have tried to compile some reasons that make most men feel jittery to converse on ‘Marriage’ as topic, feel free to add yours if not in our list. 1. No wife materials Common among some men is the reservation that there is scarcity of ‘wife-materials’ in Nigeria. In this case, they are not referring to ladies not being in quantifiable distribution among men, what they are complaining about is that most ladies of this generation lack the necessary attributes that will qualify them for the lifetime commitment called marriage. If this is the case, time of quality search can help heal the wound of such man. 2. They get sex freely without marriage than in time past Realizing now that they can get sex more easily than in times past, when ‘virginity’ for women was a pass value to marriage, some men now feel lot of women today have lost it when it comes to keeping themselves whole. But, this might not be the fault of women as promiscuity is not an exclusive act than can be carried out without the consent of either gender. 3. Nigeria weddings are expensive In a country where a man is expected to marry a woman in three different kinds of wedding- Religious, Traditional and Court, the cost of marriage no doubt is something men find very intimidating. As of last year, the average Nigeria wedding cost something like N500,000 and the it goes upward from that to more unimaginable cost. For most people, especially in this economy, that’s a lot of money. But all we advise is that men should try and cut their coat according to their material 4. In search of a ‘working class’ Today, most Nigerian men are in search of a wife capable of sharing financial responsibilities with them. Gone are the days when men marry ‘full-house-wives’, the increasing cost of living has tilted most men in favor of ladies who have a means of livelihood and willing to share with their man, the burden of building a home. 5. Fear of freedom There is a common belief among some men that marriage puts an end to one’s freedom. Single men today are much more proud about not being dependent and being on their own. They fear marriage because they will become answerable for every action they take to their spouse. That is one big responsibility some men are not ready to take up. 6. Career One of the predominant question most men will secretly ask themselves before making the decision to marry are, Will my partner make agitated about me being in office for long hours? Will he or she understand my love for my career? These are cogent questions and answering these questions could slow the decisive actions to be taken on marriage plans. 7. Unrealistic Expectations from In-laws Some parents have set certain standards for anyone who will marry their child, either way be it that such expectations are from the groom parent’s or bride, the regulations sometimes affect relationships. If the expectations are behavioral, the challenge might be little but e are some discouraging situations where parents decide the profession qualifications, properties, etc that must be acquired by the suitor before they can give out their child to him in marriage. 8. Trust issues Most times, people fear to get committed into a relationship because of trust issues. Some men have been bruised in their past relationships and therefore they don’t want to put themselves out there. 9. Bad Testimonies from Married couple Generally, most men get intimidated by marriage as a result of the testimonies they hear from those in marriage. Before getting into marriage talks, it is a common thing among men to ask their brothers, friends who are already married on how the social institution is and the testimonies they get are most times discouraging, as such they fear their marriage will be a replica of the testimonies they have gathered. 10. Cultural limitations Nigeria is a country with diverse culture and The diversity sometimes create challenges for men who are in search of women with similar culture. The good thing though is that those who endeavor to explore inter-cultural relationships get the opportunity to gain an in-depth appreciation of other customs.

Romance / Are You Unhappy And Sad,Maybe You Are In The 99 Club.. Leave Now Or Help Someone by Orgasmgush(f): 10:44am On Aug 25, 2016
The 99 Club... Are you a member?

Once upon a time, there lived a King who, despite his luxurious lifestyle, was neither happy nor content.

One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked. This fascinated the King; why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy. The King asked the servant, “Why are you so happy?”

The man replied, “Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but my family and I don’t need too much – just a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummies.”

The king was not satisfied with that reply. Later in the day, he sought the advice of his most trusted advisor. After hearing the King’s woes and the servant’s story, the advisor said, “Your Majesty, I believe that the servant has not been made part of The 99 Club.”

“The 99 Club? And what exactly is that?” the King inquired.

The advisor replied, “Your Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant’s doorstep.”

When the servant saw the bag, he took it into his house. When he opened the bag, he let out a great shout of joy… So many gold coins!

He began to count them. After several counts, he was at last convinced that there were 99 coins. He wondered, “What could’ve happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!”

He looked everywhere he could, but that final coin was elusive. Finally, exhausted, he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to earn that gold coin and complete his collection.

From that day, the servant’s life was changed. He was overworked, horribly grumpy, and castigated his family for not helping him make that 100th gold coin. He stopped singing while he worked.

Witnessing this drastic transformation, the King was puzzled. When he sought his advisor’s help, the advisor said, “Your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club.”

He continued, “The 99 Club is a name given to those people who have enough to be happy but are never content, because they’re always yearning and striving for that extra 1 telling to themselves: “Let me get that one final thing and then I will be happy for life.”

We can be happy, even with very little in our lives, but the minute we’re given something bigger and better, we want even more! We lose our sleep, our happiness, we hurt the people around us; all these as a price for our growing needs and desires. That’s what joining The 99 Club is all about.

How much thankful are you?

Crime / Girl Stolen From Hospital At 3years, Finds Real Parents After Nearly 20years by Orgasmgush(f): 11:28am On Aug 16, 2016
A South African woman who snatched baby Zephany Nurse from hospital nearly 20 years ago has been sentenced to 10 years in jail.

The woman had pleaded not guilty during her trial, claiming she believed she had legally adopted Zephany 19 years ago. She was found guilty of kidnapping in March this year.

At her sentencing on Monday Judge John Hlophe in Cape Town said the crimes committed by the woman were serious, but that he had taken into account her previously clean record and other mitigating circumstances in deciding the sentence, according to News24.

Zephany’s biological parents Celeste and Morne Nurse attended court on Monday for sentencing, but their daughter did not.

Zephany was three days old when she was snatched from a Cape Town hospital while her mother was asleep in April 1997, state prosecutors said.

The kidnapper then defrauded authorities by registering the child as her own daughter in 2003 under a false birth date, prosecutors added.

Zephany, who is publicly known by a different name which has been protected by the courts, was reunited with her biological parents Morne and Celeste Nurse last year, and a 51-year-old woman was arrested.

Zephany’s true identity was discovered last year when she was found to bear a remarkable resemblance to a girl she had befriended at school.
After suspicions were raised, a police investigation and DNA tests proved that the two girls were sisters.

Local media has previously reported that Zephany considers the woman who kidnapped her as her mother and does not wish to have a relationship with her birth parents, the BBC reported.

Education / You Brilliant? Nigerian Girl Gets Admission Into 13 Universities Just 17yrs by Orgasmgush(f): 9:57am On Aug 09, 2016
A 17-year- old girl, Serena Omo-Lamai, has been granted admission to study in 13 universities in America and Canada.

Omo-Lamai, who graduated from Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos, last year, however, opted for Syracuse University, United States, to study Bio-Medical Engineering.

Some of the universities where she was offered admission include Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology, New York University, among others.

Speaking in a telephone interview with our correspondent on Monday, Omo-Lamai said she settled for Syracuse University because of the institution’s world-class research laboratory and a $51,000 scholarship offer.

The teenager, who aspires to be a medical engineer, disclosed that she would study medicine as a second degree.

“I feel very honoured and I feel it is an opportunity to work harder. I know that I have to justify the offer. I chose Syracuse University because it has a very good research lab and the offer came with $51,000 scholarship. I have always loved Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geography.

“My hope is to study medicine for a second degree, but I would love to be a medical engineer. Most of the medical equipment in the country are imported and I would like a situation where medical equipment is manufactured here in Nigeria.

“My parents are my role models, but I am also inspired by anyone who is hard working, anyone who puts so much efforts into what they do,” she said.

A statement from the Vice-Principal, Dowen College, Mr. Muraina Olusesi, on Monday, said Omo-Lamai was the valedictorian of the school last year.

He said, “Alumni students of the school have continued to show the stuff they are made of in the world of academic excellence. Serena Omo-Lamai was our best graduating pupil in the 2014/2015 academic session and she has done it again.

“She secured admission to 13 universities across the globe, but she has settled for Syracuse University where she signed up to read Bio-Medical Engineering, with an annual scholarship of $56,000.

“Also, Daniel Obaseyi Buraimo, Class of 2010, graduated with First Class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco, California, USA. According to the university, he is the first Nigerian to attain this height.”

** HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol

The *S*(big surprise) stands for *"Secure"..*
If you visit a website or web page, and look at the address in the web browser,
it will likely begin with the following: http:///. ;;
This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular
'unsecured' language.

In other words, it is possible for someone to "eavesdrop" on your
computer's conversation with the website.
If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see
the information you send to that site.

This is why you never ever ever enter your credit card number in
an http website! But if the web address begins with https://,
that basically means your computer is talking to the website
in a secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.

You understand why this is so important,
right?

If a website ever asks you to enter your credit card information,
you should automatically look to see if the web
address begins with https://.

If it doesn't.
You should *NEVER* enter sensitive information...
such as a *credit card number*

Romance / Get To Know The FIVE(5) Love Languages, We Respond To Them by Orgasmgush(f): 8:35am On Jul 06, 2016
We got talking about how to be better in relationships, and she advised me and I got help using the languages of Love, thanks my palmchat dearie

Hmmmmmm, My conclusion after many years of marriage counseling is that there are five emotional love languages — five ways that people speak and understand emotional love.

Words of affirmation

One way to express love emotionally is to use words that build up. Solomon, author of ancient Hebrew Wisdom Literature, wrote, "The tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21, NIV). Many couples have never learned the tremendous power of verbally affirming each other.

Verbal compliments, or words of appreciation, are powerful communicators of love. They are best expressed in simple, straightforward statements of affirmation, such as:

"You look sharp in that suit."

"Do you ever look incredible in that dress! Wow!"

"I really like how you're always on time to pick me up at work."

"You can always make me laugh."

Words of affirmation are one of the five basic love languages. Within that language, however, there are many dialects. All of the dialects have in common the use of words to affirm one's spouse. Psychologist William James said that possibly the deepest human need is the need to feel appreciated. Words of affirmation will meet that need in many individuals.

Quality time

By "quality time," I mean giving someone your undivided attention. I don't mean sitting on the couch watching television together. When you spend time that way, Netflix or HBO has your attention — not your spouse. What I mean is sitting on the couch with the TV off, looking at each other and talking, devices put away, giving each other your undivided attention. It means taking a walk, just the two of you, or going out to eat and looking at each other and talking.

Time is a precious commodity. We all have multiple demands on our time, yet each of us has the exact same hours in a day. We can make the most of those hours by committing some of them to our spouse. If your mate's primary love language is quality time, she simply wants you, being with her, spending time.

Receiving gifts

Almost everything ever written on the subject of love indicates that at the heart of love is the spirit of giving. All five love languages challenge us to give to our spouse, but for some, receiving gifts, visible symbols of love, speaks the loudest.

A gift is something you can hold in your hand and say, "Look, he was thinking of me," or, "She remembered me." You must be thinking of someone to give him or her a gift. The gift itself is a symbol of that thought. It doesn't matter whether it costs money. What is important is that you thought of him or her. And it is not the thought implanted only in the mind that counts but the thought expressed in actually securing the gift and giving it as the expression of love.

But what of the person who says, "I'm not a gift giver. I didn't receive many gifts growing up. I never learned how to select gifts. It doesn't come naturally for me." Congratulations, you have just made the first discovery in becoming a great lover. You and your spouse speak different love languages. Now that you have made that discovery, get on with the business of learning your second language. If your spouse's primary love language isreceiving gifts, you can become a proficient gift giver. In fact, it is one of the easiest love languages to learn.

Acts of service

Michelle's primary love language was what I call "acts of service." By acts of service, I mean doing things you know your spouse would like you to do. You seek to please her by serving her, to express your love for her by doing things for her.

Consider actions such as cooking a meal, setting a table, emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming, changing the baby's diaper, picking up a prescription, keeping the car in operating condition — they are all acts of service. They require thought, planning, time, effort and energy. If done with a positive spirit, they are indeed expressions of love.

A willingness to examine and change stereotypes is necessary in order to express love more effectively. Remember, there are no rewards for maintaining stereotypes, but there are tremendous benefits to meeting the emotional needs of your spouse. If your spouse's love language is acts of service, then "actions speak louder than words."

Physical touch

We have long known that physical touch is a way of communicating emotional love. Numerous research projects in the area of child development have made that conclusion: Babies who are held, stroked and kissed develop a healthier emotional life than those who are left for long periods of time without physical contact.

Physical touch is also a powerful vehicle for communicating marital love. Holding hands, kissing, embracing and sexual intercourse are all ways of communicating emotional love to one's spouse. For some individuals, physical touch is their primary love language. Without it, they feel unloved. With it, their emotional tank is filled, and they feel secure in the love of their spouse.

Implicit love touches require little time but much thought, especially if physical touch is not your primary love language and if you did not grow up in a "touching family." Sitting close to each other as you watch your favorite television program requires no additional time but may communicate your love loudly. Touching your spouse as you walk through the room where he is sitting takes only a moment. Touching each other when you leave the house and again when you return may involve only a brief kiss or hug but will speak volumes to your spouse.

Once you discover that physical touch is the primary love language of your spouse, you are limited only by your imagination on ways to express love.
