Social Event   Dance Track "N" Nite Klub and Attire (Baffs and Iteles) back in the day when you were in school (Secondary/Uni)  that when you remember it now,  brings a sweet, lingering, smile to your face, thinking, ahhhhhhhhh , oh those days hummmmmmm!,  wishing you could re-live them again!

Mine was Miss Unilag (1984/85), for very sentimental reasons,  Track, Silver Shadow (Atlantic Star) , and still is to this day, / Faze2 YABA & Lord's Nite Klub -Maryland-Ikeja and the attire(s) were another matter, if you were in Unilag then, You HAD to KEEP UP with the trends then or else,

I have just come back from Xmas holidays with my family (of 5) and i dont think we spent more than £2,000.00 for the 3 weeks we were in Lagos, this also included daily runnings and the usual "egbon kuu'lee aburo kaa bo" and attending and participating in 2 high society traditional engagement and Church weddings, one in Lagos and the other in Abuja (with the whole shibang of Aso ebi, and spraying oh!) with all the "big boys" in both states,

its just a matter of "cutting your coat according to your size" if fact if my famiy didnt go with me, i would have spent less sef,

To my country people in the diaspora, many of you run from visiting home because of this impression of how much I need to be able to stay comfortable, ask your self the question, if you are actually going back to your family to see and be with them and not to go and show off, you dont need a little bit more than what you averagely spend where you are resided now exluding flight cost, gift cost amd may be accomodation if there is no relative to squat with. The gift cost should even be moderate. Some of the items you take home are even cheaper in Nigeria.[/b

if my memory serves me correctly,(and DayoKanu plz correct me if i am wrong, i came from Jand) its on the left hand side towards the beginning of Clark St if you come in from Halstead area,from Lake Shore Drive (where i was) its got like a Burgundy canopy outside  by the door, and i think its next to a cab office 2! we drove, but u can also get a bus (going to Halstead) from Jackson boulevard, or the Train (Blue line) get off at Belmont and walk, did that when i went to Marshalls, 

at 1st my heart skipped a beat when i read this, as he has my 1st 2 names, but i know its not me sha! well done to my name sake!
