Hello Everyone, please for God sake I need help and advice on how to go about my application. I'm new on this thread and my situation is complicated.

I got married 2015 but before d marriage my husband and I applied for student visa which mine was granted and he was denied, he allowed me to travel a week after our wedding because lectures have started. We then decided again that he should reapply again in 2016 for student visa but he was denied again.

So, I came back to Nigeria September 2016 after my one year PGD program to be with my husband because there was already so much pressure from families that how can my husband allow me to travel a week after the wedding without me being pregnant. But before coming in September 2016 have already extended my study permit with the hope that I will conceive and return back in January 2017 to start my second program. Everything did not go as planned, I'm yet to conceive till this very moment and my vise expire December 2017.

In January 2017 we both applied for US visa for vacatuon but we were both denied and since then have suffered depression mainly because I couldn't conceive and family pressure.

Now, PLEASE kindly advise me on what to do. I don't want this opportunity to fade away.
1. Should I go back to Canada to extend my study permit despite d fact I did not use the visa on it and it will expire December 2017, and apply for SOWP for my husband?

OR

2. Should I apply for post graduate work permit and SWOP for my husband now?

Pls help me with advise.

My husband had to leave work for a whole day. He found a photocopy of the result.
It's been almost a month now since then.

I have just noticed the same thing on my husband's refusal letter. the letter was issued on July 7th from Ghana.

i am sure we applied for SOWP!

1. You can get an arranged employment, I got that fact from someone's gcms note.
2. Any lump deposit should be explained backed up with evidence. This can come inform of selling off a car/land attaching the sales receipt.
3. I don't think sponsorship is allowed for open work permit. Other gurus can help explain this. As I said in 2 above, any lump should be explained.
4. You don't have to wait for 3 months. Just print the statement once the requirements are met (print for 6months)

I am no guru here buy let me chip in somethings based on some past experience and testimonies here.

Applicant keep falling for CIC's trap of saying no proof of funds required for SOWP but they had forgot people denied based on PERSONAL ASSET. Your husband need to show the visa officer clearly that he wouldn't be a burden on you while studying in Canada. He requires a minimum balance of 10,000CAD as living expenses.
The 300k balance could barely take care of his flight ticket.

Also, I have read a gcms note whereby the Vo states that the principal applicant could have presented evidence of 'ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT" which would serve as immediate source of income for the applicant without having to rely so much on the student spouse. Try and build up contact in your location may be you can get one letter from a cleaning agency.

He should also try to get a recent reference letter or letter of introduction from his employer which should not be more that 2 months old. Though not compulsory since he provided his pay stubs but it's not a crime to add.

You should also try to support your husband by presenting your rent receipt/agreement which would stay that your husband can be accommodated at least for three weeks before you guys would move to a bigger/Bachelor's apartment after a while. This would also tackle the issue of your own address[b] if [/b]raised by VO.

Did you submit your letter of enrollment from school that shows you're full time student?

And how much do you have on your funding letter?

We submitted an enrollment letter.
The funding letter shows CAD 22000 annually till Sept 2018 further funding will be based on my supervisor.
We will consider your points in the next application.

1. Will showing an arranged employment be okay for SOWP?


We hope to apply in August after getting the GCMS note.

2. Can we source for money and deposit large sum to his account?

3. Our options are to get the money (CAD 10000) as gift from his mom, to show his uncle's bank statement as his sponsor or I could transfer the CAD14000 in my mutual funds to him. Please what is the best option?


4. Do we have to wait 3 months to print a new bank statement showing this ?

Hi all I applied 4 Msc prog.I 1st submitted Oct 2011. It was returned twice and I later sub 4th Jan,2012.I did medicals 15 Feb and The letter shows it was issued late march but I did not receive any info from VAC. I just decided to check with them yest and was surprised. In fact it will expire 30th April so I just av to be fast.

The my application was returned in October and I was instructed to get another start date.I av received a new admission letter to resume in may.
Do I need to fill another form(application form, famili info, questionaire), updating the new start date or shd I submit submit the former forms like that with an updated bank statement and other documents.

pls I need ur help on some information.I submitd my applicatn on 10th oct bt it was retuerned on 14th on the ground that no sufficient time for processing for Jan 4th, 2012 entry.
I was advised by the embassy to get a new admission letter for the next session.The school has another entry for May.I av contacted the school bt I av nt received any info from them yet.

While reading thru,I saw something on affidafit of sponsor.Pls, The person I used as my sponsor does nt share my surname.Can u pls let me know if I also have to include an affidafit in this respect.pls what is the affidafit like?
