Yes sent it, I got back a reply that a decision has made but I haven’t received the collection mail or text yet

You will receive it . U can go nd track d progress of ur visa on the TLS tracking site, once it has ticked d 5th stage, b expecting ur decision mail on or before tomorrow.

After that I dint get any mail

I was just sending paid mail to them

My last paid mail states that if I don’t get a response
On before 31st May I should contact them for assistance

On the 31st of may I check my tracker it’s was already on 4 ticks

Then in the evening I got a mail from TLS stating my documents is ready for collection

I pickup on the first of June

So, those it mean that the mail I receive was a non straightforward mail?
And did your application progress take long time to move from the second stage to the third stage?

My concern now is, my application hasn't left that stage still. What might be the problem?

Nothing to be worried about.
Some update immediately , some take a week to be received at DMC etc, calm down and start your 6 weeks wait… for biometrics done 21 May, I dnt think there is anything to be worried about yet…

17th of may ?? Asin this may tht just finished? with the latest timelines and 1st timers.. chances are slim to get decision before 6 wks. They are dealing with Ukrainians. Reach out to the Canadian authority to see if timeline can be pushed and/or withdraw ur uk application. Visa fees will not be refunded and it will not push your application to be decided.

@giselle,pls can u advise me on my uk Visa application process. I did biometrics on d 20th of may, nd on that very day I had two of by tracking stage ticked. Ever since then, the third stage which is the ' application received by DMC' stage hasn't been ticked. I have sent paid email to ukvi, and the first response I received was the automated response of 'application awaiting decision'. I later sent a follow-up email concerning the issue, and I received a response that "application was lastly updated on the 21st of may" . I've sent a complaint message to TLS concerning this issue to, but no response from them yet. What is your advice

These are the spouses of british citizens, people with settled status, permanent residence or EU citizens

Skilled worker dependent visa:- https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children
These are the spouses of immigrants with temporary visa( eg work visa)

it’s not a spouse visa tho. (for learning purposes only) It is a work partner dependent visa. Spouse visa costs way over quadruple the amount (you) paid and wont get sorted out now if biometrics was May 11.

Pls, what is the difference between the two?

it usually takes one week to get to DMC so expect it today or Monday, you might get an email notification when they receive it

From my observance here, it is completely dependent on how straightforward the ECO views your application - 3weeks min though rare now, most take 5-6weeks currently, while a few take longer.

Check ur mail boxes for a letter from ukvisaenquiries. If u see one, then know they've received it but it is yet to be updated. If you dont, maybe u can email TLS first before ukvi if u see nothing by Tuesday evening. My own took 2 working days (Nig) and 3(UK). Usually both transfer and receive happen on the same day before this period.

And pls , how long does it take ur visa to be out?

I didn't receive any. I only received confirmation message from TLS dat my application has been transferred to DMC
