I was was following the comments about Liverpool/Barca match here on nairaland and most of the comments show how wrong or delusional we can be. Also an awesome nairalander with the username Raypos not only predicted the 4-0 score but even the scorers. What started innocently by begging people for money has gradually metamorphosized into forcefully collecting money from passersby. That is the story of Awawa boys in Agege area of Lagos state. Previously they went into hiding when the Governor declared a crack down on them. But now that the force has relaxed, they have resurfaced again. These so called boys move in groups of 5, 10, 15 and even 20 looking for people to extort. And at night forcefully dispossess people of their valuables and phones when they meet you one on one. Roughly two weeks ago, these hoodlums invaded the entire Dopemu road. Robbed pedestrians, passengers, shop owners and even motorists of their phones, watches and other valuable items. According to eye witness even a policeman on bike was pushed and his bike taken away. Also an incident happened in Papa Ashafa area of Agege where these boys and even girls entered and robbed all the members of a particular church (name with-held). Infact hardly will a day go by without reported cases of armed robbery in these area. Agege has gotten to a state where people now find it hard to move around once its 8pm and even those who go to work early around 5am and 6am are being targeted. It has also degenerated to a state that our students are been influenced, initiated and most times robbed. Areas that you can find these Awawa boys in Agege are Amoo street, Oke Koto, Adenle Street, Papa Ashafa, Moricas, Dopemu, Pen cinema, just to mention a few. Generally speaking, since election campaign in Nigeria started, the rate of crime has tripled, and this begs the question "do we still have active Policemen in the country?" The people of Agege are calling on the President, Governor Ambode, Lagos State Government, IG of Police, Commissioner of Police, Agege Local Government and other International Observers to please find lasting solution to these hooliganism. |

Ortintin There are lots of things that can make a phone to malfunction, Such as liquid damage, broken touch pad, out dated software and the rest. . There are various examples of these malfunctions e.g phone hanging, phone becoming slow, Apps not working as expected, Browsers not opening webpages etc. . Now in all my years of working as a phone Technician, I have come to realise that the major cause of these problems are apps that we install. There are various apps that perform various functions, some are noticeable and some are undetected by users. For example an App you install to manage your mobile data might stop your phone from browsing at times or an app you install to clear memory space may perform other underground functions by not letting other apps give you notifications. . This is why its often required to restore factory settings when phone start misbehaving. But still yet; some restore the factory settings and still go ahead to download or install such apps and their phone start misbehaving again. Consequently they become frustrated and think there phone has an hardware issue. . In nutshell, once your phone start misbehaving, examine the last three or five apps you install to check which is the cause of the problem. Ortintin.com Despite the fact that we have all heard of exercise and its importance, not more than 30% of Nigerians and the world at large practice it. Exercise is one of the most vital thing our body needs to function properly. . Research suggests that the reason why the life span of an adult nowadays is reduced to that of our ancestors is because we hardly take part in any exercise which consequently gives room for various illnesses. Apart from that, we are also in a rest or more relaxed state in which almost everything we do is aided or done by a machine; like cars for traveling instead of walking in the pre-colonial era, proximity of borehole or water supply in homes, instead of walking kilometers just to get a bucket of water in the olden days and so on. . So what is exercise? Experts define Exercise as any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness. And I give a simple definition that exercise is anything we do that involves energy and upgrade our wellbeing such as walking, running, cycling, weight lifting, and even eating! . There are three kinds of exercise; . * Flexibility exercise: which involves stretching and it improves motion e.g twisting and skiing. . * Aerobic exercise which involves oxygen and it helps build our hearts, immune system and increases speed and accuracy e.g swimming and running. . * The last is Anaerobic exercise: which doesn’t involve oxygen and helps to build our muscle, body shape, stamina, strength and increases endurance level e.g weight lifting. . Now unto the most interesting part which is the advantages of doing exercises. Now I must confess myself that I hardly do any exercise until I came across the benefits of doing it. Here is a brief list: . 1. It makes you look younger, better and even healthier. . 2. It boosts your mood, confidence and self esteem, . 3. It controls your weight and prevent excess fat gain, . 4. It combats body diseases, heart diseases and cardiovascular diseases too. . 5. It reduces the chance of suffering from type 2 diabetes especially those of us that loves sugary things. . 6. It also reduces stroke, dementia, depression. . 7. It helps improve our sex life because we have amassed a reasonable amount of energy and fitness. . 8. Reduces rate of breast cancer and other forms of cancer. . 9. Aids muscles, tissues growth and firm bone attachment. . 10. it also maintains our internal environment (homeostasis ) and improves the immune system. . 11. It also improves our athletic skills strengthe and lastly . 12. It is free and cheap. No wonder health experts call it the miracle healer and some even went further to say if exercise is a pill, it would be one of the most expensive drug! . Fine most of us at a certain time do have bad breathe, especially when we wake up from bed. This is due to the fact that when we sleep our metabolism rate is reduced and so is the saliva formulation which tends to make the mouth dry, and consequently dry mouth induces bacteria growth which feeds on the remnant of foods in our mouth which leads to ejection of offensive odor i.e bad breath (Halitosis) There are many causes of bad breath which I try to outline few below: 1. Improper way of brushing the mouth or not brushing regularly: I tagged this the most common reason why people have bad breath, cause if you wash your mouth and teeth properly then why should it ooze? The simple truth is that when you fail to wash your mouth properly yesterday, then today's dirt are accumulated to yesterday's own. Interestingly, severe cases of bad breath never happen in days but takes years (i.e may be when the person is young he/she never brushes properly). 2. Distortion in saliva production or having serious cases of dry mouth: I must outline here that saliva is the worst enemy of bad breath causing bacteria. If your mouth is well moistened the rate of bacteria operation will be greatly reduced, consequently leading to decrease bad breath 3. Eating lots of junks and not rinsing the mouth after each meal. 4. Talking or opening your mouth in dirty places or dirty toilets and bathrooms. 5. Excessive drinking and smoking. 6. Infection and gum diseases, illnesses like diabetes,chronic bronchitis et cetera. Now that we have known the causes of bad breath, on to the most important part which is the prevention of bad breath: 1. Washing the mouth daily and properly: in other not to over assume things I have outlined the steps for effective brushing. (i). get a soft, good toothbrush and a toothpaste that contains flouride gel. (ii). brush the nooks and crannies of your mouth thoroughly but gently (because strong wash could irritate your gum) not forgetting the back of the tongue, upper tongue layer, inside and outside of your upper and lower teeth, rear end of the teeth, inner parts of the cheeks, your lips. (iii). then rinse your mouth well. (iv) after that rinse your brush and add a small amount of water in your mouth then brush without paste, do this twice. 2. Rinse your mouth with water after each meal. 3. Floss your mouth atleast twice or thrice every week. 4. For severe cases visit the dentist. N So in conclusion am sure you are now aware of the causes and how you can prevent bad breath. And please do note that if your breath stinks , it is solely your fault and you should do something about it or else people will distant themselves from you and will never want to hear you talk. N.B: when you have a sudden case of bad breath, you can get yourself chewing gum or breath out air from your mouth then moisten your mouth well with saliva . Do this twice.
