With the exception of the 5 SE States and Abuja, Peter Obi will have to fight very hard to win any of the other States that you mention.

His popularity in these States are not in doubt but the elites in most of those states will want to influence the pattern of voting and stop Obi.

Take States like Rivers, Bayelsa , Delta and Akwa Ibom for instance. Many of the traditional rulers, religions leaders, political leaders and community leaders in these States are beneficially of the Crude Oil theft going on there.

These corrupt leaders know that an Obi presidency will be a big blow to them while an Atiku presidency will likely favour them since they are mainly PDP stakeholders.

These corrupt leaders are also very popular in their communities since they use part of their ill- gotten wealths to sustain many poor families. Thousands of poor people in their communities are their subjects. They can influnce these people to vote Atiku instead of Obi using propaganda and financial inducement.

Hence Corruption will be a major obstacle to Obi' s ambition in States that he is popular among the masses.
