But why on earth would faan release just 461 names, now they wanna conduct another recruitment process for hard copy applicants.

They also said something like course of study should be relevant to the applied position. So my question is what course of study should be relevant to fire positions and how does this really affect?

This is funny, it seems NIS didn't do PFT like we did that's jogging, sit ups and push ups. Just checked their height and other physical and medical examinations then proceeded to interview. Some that were scheduled today are done with the process even up to interview. So they're in the same category as us too (waiting for appointment letter or successful list, whatever we wanna call it) and I guess by friday or so they'll be done with the whole interview stage.

I discussed with a department of petroleum resources (DPR) staff yesterday, I asked him a number of questions bothering cancellation of the process and suspension of same ttill after may 29th. He has this to say.
"the exercise can't be cancelled because it's an opportunity for people in the corridors of power to bring in there boys" stressing that he knows how he got his DPR job, that they were more qualified people who applied for same position he occupies. He gave vital reasons why faan recruitment may not be pushed till 29th. Hear him, "this ogas' will definitely ensure the exercise gets concluded before another administration comes in, cos they have slots for their boys. If another administration takes over they may get sacked or proceed on compulsory retirement and the name of their boys would be immediately withdrawn." he added that, "the Director of finance who was fired last week would not have any slot in the final list as the names he submitted would be withdrawn and replaced by the names submitted by the acting DG finance".

I will say you guys should resist the temptation of listening to those clowns who wish or feels the exercise has been cancelled.

i dnt know aw ya'll will take dis but I know all tins work togeda for my good.FYI appointment letters v bin Issued out...they v bin posted out, u can scream n throw tantrums but D truth is recruitment is over.I spoke wit a friend who confirmed from one of us(i mean candidate like u n i who participated in d recruitment exercise at ikeja)he was posted to abuja n has resumed.Quote me... and move on!

some things were at stake, like the info on cancellation. Maybe they had the intention who knows(that's just my opinion though), hence the delay. But I know since the minister has directed the MD to carry on and conclude the recruitment process, we'll be hearing from FAAN ASAP. That I'm very sure of.

NIS list for PFT just rolled out and I also heard from a reliable source that NIS is gonna resume training b4 hand over, so I'm very certain we're gonna resume training too b4 hand over.

No the total number of pple to be employed is 4625 and they gave each state 125 slot. The controllar of immigration said it bfor they started d recruitment process

The just conducted FAAN recruitment has been CANCELLED! Take it or leave it! A fresh recruitment will be organized come any time post May 29th. I'm sure the question that will boiling in everybody's mind now is, My source! Well, seat back and relax, it was confirmed by an august FAAN personnel. It was said that the objectives of the exercise have jeopardized by the majority of the public office-elects via empowering individuals that stood by them from electioneering till the end (including their names in the FAAN list). Thus, it was as a result of this act that the president-elect cancelled the exercise so that everybody stands equal play-ground in a fresh exercise without obvious nepotism. In a nutshell, if you still have a job at hand, please hold it TIGHT!

They should be right cos most people that will be employ too will be posted to even cargo airport and all of that and they further told me about so many new airports been built and staff( security and Fire) will be taken there.... Exactly the way he spoke u just did....


I was told that Enugu center was expecting 1500+ for Pft and that 750 is just what was needed from Enugu alone and told us we should strive and reach the interview stage and be smart with our answers which they said were just formalities but all points gathered from pft till that interview stage will be used to judge us....


Above all the 750 is what they needed and if by ur points which Is similar with his that means 750 it is then.....

This is actually what we sat down and discuss and trust me height will take people down..... Am not here to tickle anybody or pass information to make anybody happy but these are facts and were handed down to me......

Like I will always tell u people in here, if the information does not come from Faan yet just be patient enough cos it will come and u all will smile.... I mean those who got to the interview stage cos Faan needs hands to join them....

Don't ask me further question cos I won't talk I only gave this hint to clear the other guy about the numbers they needed and told him to GO back to where he got that information to get it correctly cos he did not listen when it was been passed to him.....

Each centers will submits 750 final names of those to make it...

4centers x 750 = 3000 and the total targeted after Pft was 3000+ and after the pft as at on Monday 18 march they had 3700 interviewed across the 4centers which they expected to rise up to 4000 but sorry they never got that 4000 and above all....... 3000 will go thru and they will definitely come from Security and Fire as the majority.....

It is indeed funny how most of you who failed the test/PFT, or didn't perform well in the interview or have no hope at all in the process seem to be the ones posting bad info here.
I wonder if it is the same FAAN source I got my info from that you people are getting yours from.
If people have been selected and training started, trust me I would know. I ply the airport route, where the training takes place, often an nothing is going on there.
So shut the hell up people. Simply because you have no stake/hope in the process doesn't give you the right to spoil others' hope.
